The Front Desk Team Member will warmly greet and direct members, guests, and staff as they enter the gym and provide control of the front door location. This position will aid with member requests, inquiries about gym operations and policies, as well as perform various administrative duties as directed by the Gym General Manager. As the initial point of contact to our club, the Front Desk is responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and a memorable guest experience.

* Enthusiastically greet each member and guest promptly to create a friendly and positive entrance and departure to and from the gym.

* Provide security and control to the front door and retail area of the facility.

* Personally check each member into the gym using the proper check-in procedures.

* Monitor check-ins to identify delinquent accounts and notify Gym Management.

* Register all guests into the gym using proper registration procedures.

* Ensure that guests and appointments are directed to the appropriate personal trainer in a prompt, professional manner.

* Utilize the gym phone system to professionally answer guest calls, take appropriate messages to include name and description of question, and follow up with management for all telephone inquiries

* Respond immediately to member requests, inquiries, and concerns.

* Maintain neat appearance and wear proper uniform attire with nametag while on duty.

* Distribute keys, towels and other materials as needed.

* Process retail and concession sales.

* Help maintain a fully stocked cooler and retail inventory.

* Attend all staff meetings as directed.

* Clean and maintain the front desk area according to company standards.

* Log all maintenance concerns that are reported.

* Follow and report any safety concerns.

* Notify management of any gym or member incidents that require incident reports.

* Work when scheduled and adhere to company attendance policies.

* Perform other reasonable work assignments as directed by the Gym General Manager and/or Member Experience Manager to include but not limited to light cleaning and picking up of weights during gym walk throughs.

* Assist in membership sales (kiosk or computer) and signing up members.

* Assign all new members with barcodes, taking member photos, and scheduling complimentary personal training sessions.

* Handle member account changes (form of payment, freeze forms, cancellation forms, manual agreements).

* Assist with receiving orders and checking in retail and concession products.

* Assist members with registering and checking in for classes via app.

* Other duties as assigned.

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* Excellent customer service skills are required.

* Organized, structured, and friendly coupled with a passion for fitness.

* Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.

* Understanding of basic cash processing procedures.

Summary

Works closely with the Director of Maintenance and Facilities to assist with general plant operation. Provides direction to staff to ensure that all Housekeeping, Laundry and Maintenance functions are met. Take the lead on scheduling and completing Glenmeadow at Home assignments.

• Troubleshoot and repair appliances and equipment such as air conditioners, refrigerators and bathroom fixtures.
• Repair and paint walls, ceilings, furniture, doors, etc.

1. Carpentry Skills

• Perform major and minor carpentry work including but not limited to: rebuilding porches, hanging cabinets, installing counters, installing finish trim, hanging new windows and/or doors, creating set designs (follies) and remodeling rooms, offices and common areas.

1. Supervisory Skills; Assists the Director in performing the following:

• Monitor housekeeping functions and ensure schedules are followed.
• Complete performance appraisals in a thorough and timely manner.
• Address performance issues with staff including but not limited to providing feedback (good and bad) and conducting disciplinary action according to Glenmeadow guidelines.
• Bring personnel issues/concerns forward to Director of Plant Operations and/or Human Resources as appropriate.
• Participate in the employee orientation program.
• Assists with planning budget needs.
• Assure function set ups are completed in a timely manner

1. Consistent/Reliable. Specifically you are expected to:

• Establish a track record of quality so that the supervisor and customers have a high degree of confidence that the assignment will be completed thoroughly.
• Follow through with special assignments.
• Complete your workload in a thorough and timely manner. 
• Participate in rotating on-call schedule

1. Monitoring. Specifically you are expected to:

• Inspect the building and all equipment on a daily basis and according to established maintenance schedules.
• Maintain and monitor all equipment and controls to ensure good working order including, but not limited to:    pool, boiler plant, and chiller. 
• Inventory and replace supplies required to maintain facility. 
• Follow established procedures for use of outside contractors.
• Sign off on bills/invoices in absence of Director.
• Light plumbing and electrical work.
• Arrange for or assists residents in moving seasonal items in and out of ALU storage as needed.
• Oversee the move-in process to ensure smooth transitions.
• Make sure residents storage lockers in proper order

1. Safety Awareness and Follow-Through. Specifically you are expected to:

• Be concerned with safety. Follow safety protocol to reduce the chance of self-injury.    Use safety glasses, gloves, belts and other safety equipment to reduce the chance of harming yourself or others.
• Use tools, equipment and chemicals according to established protocol with safety in mind.
• Follow safety regulations, infection control, and universal precaution procedures at all times.
• Work hard to keep residents safe by staying aware of cords, tools, or other hazards that could increase the chance of a resident falling.
• Monitor the fire suppression system.

1. Attendance. Specifically you are expected to:

• Come to work on time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Plans, assigns, and directs work assignments of 8-13 employees in the Maintenance and Housekeeping Departments in the absence of the Director of Plant Operations. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Completes and presents performance evaluations for Maintenance staff.

Your responsibilities

The Clamp Truck Operator is responsible for loading and unloading product that is shipped and/or received at the Central Distribution Center. As a Clamp Truck Operator, it will be your responsibility to follow and abide by all BSH and CDC rules and procedures to the best of your ability.

Safety:

• Safely operates industrial clamp/lift truck, manual pallet jacks, and other forms of materials handling equipment on the distribution floor.
• Adheres to BSH guidelines by wearing and utilizing required PPE.

General:

• Maintains material handling equipment including electronic computers, mechanical scales, doors, door locks, door levelers, battery chargers and related equipment.
• Loads materials into vehicles, containers, and other forms of transportation installing strapping, bracing or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.
• Conveys materials from storage to designated staging areas and records serial numbers using the correct lifting apparatus for the designated product.
• Follows written or oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved in a timely, scheduled manner to the customer.
• Unloads and sorts materials from trailers and locate in the Distribution Center, either by directed put away or open location.
• Order picks and records number of units of materials moved or handled on a pick ticket.
• Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, boxes or other containers.
• Lifts heavy objects by hand or with handling equipment and cleans work area, machines and equipment.
• Palletize and wrap product for shipping.
• Completes PM sheets for his/her lift before each shift and reports any issues immediately.
• Demonstrate efficient knowledge of handling signage (fragile, this side up, etc.)
• Report all warehouse damages
• Must maintain inventory accuracy within .5%
• Segregate all quality holds to insure they are not shipped to the customer
• Performs all other duties assigned

Equipment:

• Standard Forklift Equipment Previous experience required. Operate both safely and efficiently.
• Clamp Truck Equipment Previous experience preferred. Operate both safely and efficiently.
• Maintain proper clamp pressure and handling requirements.
• Utilize designated clamp pressure by product type to ensure properly handling techniques.
• Demonstrate proper clamp positioning by product type to ensure damage free handling.
• Proper handling of clamp equipment while traveling to ensure loads are raised to the proper height from the ground.
• Proper handling of clamp equipment while traveling with an oversized load.
• Proper handling of clamp equipment when stacking and unstacking product.
• Ensuring slip sheets are properly utilized when stacking to ensure stability.
• Inspect clamps to ensure they are able to be safely operated while maintaining damage free product.

The pay range posted for this position is based on the location noted in the posting title. Exact compensation offered may vary based on your specific skillset and work location. If the position is bonus or incentive eligible then the payments range from 0% to 200% of target with details laid out within the plan document.

The overall objective and purpose of the Security Supervisor are to assist the Security Manager to manage the security department staff as well as guard industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
