Job Summary
As a heavy civil, railway & mining infrastructure general contractor, we are hiring several Document Controls Specialists to join our growing team. In this vital role, you will oversee cost control and progress tracking to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Your expertise will help drive project efficiency, facilitate effective communication among stakeholders, and support successful project delivery from inception to completion.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to establish realistic cost estimates and budgets utilizing construction estimating techniques and HeavyBid.
- Track project progress through regular updates, analyzing and identifying potential delays or issues early.
- Prepare comprehensive reports on project status, including progress updates, cost reports, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
- Coordinate with field teams to gather real-time data on construction site activities, ensuring accurate schedule integration with site operations.
- Assist in contract administration by reviewing contracts, change orders, and scope modifications to maintain alignment with project goals.
- Utilize Bluebeam for blueprint reading, schematics review, and document management to support accurate project execution.
- Support project management efforts by facilitating communication between teams, managing documentation workflows, and ensuring adherence to safety standards.
Skills
- 2-3+ years of proven experience as a Document Controls Specialist or similar Project Controls position.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6 or similar tools for planning coordination.
- Experience managing civil, railway or mining projects is a plus.
- Strong experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and contract administration.
- Excellent skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and understanding of construction drawings.
- Proven ability in project coordination within a construction environment with site experience preferred.
- Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently under tight deadlines.

The Opportunity:
A government agency seeks two admitted Document Review Attorneys for a short-term document review project scheduled to begin in early March with a duration of approximately four months. Must be available to work at least 35 hours weekly and additional hours, if needed. The hourly rate is $50, plus benefits.
Primary Duties:
The Document Review Attorneys will help coordinate the compliance review of filed election documents. Candidates must be comfortable navigating high volume and strict statutory timelines for review, hearings and providing notice and able to utilize the agency's digital systems for viewing scanned documents and generating letters. Additional duties include the following:
- Preparation of letters of non-compliance
- Compiling records for related hearings and litigation
Experience & Qualifications:
- New York State bar admission
