Position purpose
The Welder position responsibilities include fitting and joining and repairing metal and other weldable material by applying appropriate welding techniques in accordance with product specifications and production schedules.
Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks
- Working hours are general 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., but may be adjusted as needed to meet production needs
- Perform welding duties using a TIG welder.
- Use welding equipment to weld steel components as specified by layouts, engineering drawings, work orders, or verbal instructions.
- Work with others to assist in the welding of multi-component parts.
- Operate forklifts, hoists, hand power tools, slings, grinders, cutting torch, and other hand tools related to the jobs needs.
- Inspect and correct welds as necessary to meet product specifications.
- Read, understand, and follow job order specifications, engineering drawings, and/or work orders.
- Willingness to cross-train and perform the work of other job tasks in addition to the primary assigned position.
- Communicates with management, for assignments and to resolve machining or quality issues.
- Responsible for keeping equipment and work area clean and orderly and perform basic preventive maintenance functions on equipment. Suggest and implement improvements.
- Completes all required safety procedures prior to and during operations.

- Control excessive use of utilities, supplies and water and observe sound conservation practices.
- Coordinate own activities and functions with those of associates to obtain maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Observe security standards by staying alert and being aware of customer actions and behavior; report to Store Management or Security any abnormal behavior.
- Check prices and be knowledgeable about location of items in the store.
- Regularly lift, pull, push and rotate merchandise that weights 25 lbs., and that occasionally weights 50 lbs.

The primary responsibilities of a Brake Press Operator are to bend sheet metal in accordance with design specifications and to ensure each piece produced is free of defects. We're looking for a hardworking professional who enjoys meeting challenges and surpassing customer expectations. - C5 Commercial Combination Inspector ICC inspector certification required
- B2 Commercial Building Inspector certification required
- E2 Commercial Electrical Inspector certification required
- M2 Commercial Mechanical Inspector certification required
- P2 Commercial Plumbing Inspector certification required
- Associates degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred, but not required
- Working knowledge of commercial or residential building construction processes and applicable building codes
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Relevant project experience on commercial or residential building construction and inspection
- Driving is a requirement of the position. A clean driving record is required

Salary RangeThe projected range for this position is $58.77/Hr. - $75.00/Hr. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly. This position is covered under CA prevailing wage. In addition to the base hourly rate, all applicable fringes will apply.
