Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead and support facility design, operation, and maintenance projects for plutonium facilities.
- Apply broad, diversified engineering knowledge to prepare complex analyses, design packages, and deliverables.
- Integrate and coordinate engineering activities across multiple disciplines.
- Provide construction support and project oversight, ensuring alignment with industry, regulatory, and DOE/NNSA codes and standards.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers, fostering knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Utilize engineering technology, including computer-aided design and mark-up software.
- Identify and implement process improvements to meet customer needs.
- May serve as project lead, responsible for project execution from conception through completion.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited college or university.
- Minimum of 9 years of relevant, practical work experience in design engineering.
- Proven knowledge of engineering codes and standards applicable to DOE and DOD facilities (e.g., ASCE, ASME, NQA-1, IBC, IEBC, IEEE, NFPA, NEC).
- Experience developing design packages and preparing engineering design document deliverables.
- U.S. citizenship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q clearance and participate in the Human Reliability Program (HRP).
- Able to work onsite at or near TA-55, including accessing all facility areas as required.
- Ability to use stairs in all buildings.
Desired Skills
- Advanced engineering or technical degree.
- Experience with RISA or similar finite element analysis software (strongly preferred for structural engineers).
- Experience with AutoCAD, mark-up software, and the Microsoft Suite.

Job Responsibilities

- Develop and implement a structured alliance program: define the vision, engagement model, governance, and performance metrics for CRH’s innovation alliances.
- Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new collaboration opportunities that align with CRH’s strategic objectives and market needs; craft clear business cases and partnership theses.

We're not looking for someone who just shoots highlights and read scores.
We want a person who can also tell unique sports stories to recruit the non-sports fan.
In this role, you will be required to produce daily sports content on a variety of platforms, along with performing other duties as assigned by the news managers.
We are looking for someone with a clear understanding of how to cover College and High School Sports using strong storytelling and TV production techniques to make our stories impactful and memorable.
Dynamic live television and storytelling skills are a must.
Important Details: This is a one-person sports department You will anchor sports 5 evenings per week.
The schedule depends on what's happening in local college and high school sports, but typically includes weekends and holidays You will shoot and edit your own stories, and operate your own LiveU.
In this role, you will coordinate, schedule, and communicate the weekly sports schedule along with our seasonal high school sports shows: Football Friday and Full Court Press.
You will schedule several photographers to assist you shooting the high school highlights.
Our coverage priorities are: High School Sports, College Sports (especially Liberty University, Virginia Tech and UVA), and NASCAR (the Martinsville Speedway is in our viewing area).

The Meteorologist will be responsible for providing accurate and timely weather forecasts and effectively communicating weather-related information to our audience.
Additionally, proficiency in managing and posting content across various social media platforms is crucial for this role.
Other Responsibilities: Develop and present comprehensive and detailed weather reports for various segments, ensuring clarity and accessibility for a diverse audience.
Monitor weather conditions, analyze data, and utilize state-of-the-art technology to provide timely and precise weather updates and alerts.
Collaborate with news producers, reporters, and other team members to integrate weather information seamlessly into news broadcasts and other programming.
Maintain a strong social media presence by regularly posting weather updates, forecasts, and relevant content across various platforms to engage and inform the community.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance the station's digital weather presence, including interactive weather maps, live streaming, and other innovative features.
Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, emergency management agencies, and community organizations to ensure effective communication during severe weather events and emergencies.
Participate in community outreach events, educational programs, and public speaking engagements to promote weather awareness and preparedness within the local community.
Qualifications: Bachelor's or master's degree in meteorology, atmospheric science, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in a professional meteorology role, preferably in a broadcast environment.
Profound knowledge of meteorological tools and software, including weather radar systems, satellite imagery, and forecasting models.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to present complex weather information in a clear and engaging manner.
Proven experience in managing and leveraging various social media platforms to disseminate weather information and engage with the audience effectively.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment, particularly during severe weather situations.
Familiarity with the Baltimore, MD, metropolitan area and its unique weather patterns is preferred.

The base salary compensation range for this role is $63,461 to $79,327.
Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
