SUMMARY
We are looking for a visionary Project Manager of Building Science Knowledge systems who will manage projects that support the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) ability to assemble, store, and disseminate codes, standards, performance criteria, and best practices in the built environment. Our goal is to make knowledge easier to access and understand so that buildings are safer, more efficient, and more innovative. This role will oversee multi-stakeholder projects ensuring alignment with client goals, scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager will manage project team members, manage subcontractors, and ensure effective communication and knowledge transfer across the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of assigned projects with emphasis on building technology and innovation.
- Generate project workplans for assigned projects.
- Support defining and documenting project scope, deliverables, KPIs, and success criteria; implement control mechanisms for performance tracking.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources; Estimate to Complete (ETC), forecasting, and margin. Make recommendations for actions necessary to meet targets.
- Proactively identify, track, and mitigate tasks, project, and client relationship risks.
- Establish and enforce quality management frameworks, ensuring deliverables meet or exceed client expectations.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, researchers, IT specialists, and subcontractors.
- Serve as primary client liaison, maintaining professional communication and transparent reporting.
- Oversee knowledge management practices: maintain project files, ensure accessibility of content, capture lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Guide stakeholder engagement activities such as workshops, webinars, and technical meetings.
- Monitor industry trends in digital codes & standards, AEC innovative solutions and integrate best practices into project delivery.
- Inform senior leaders of gaps in skills needed for project delivery.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, recommending ways to establish systematic continuous improvement as able, knowledge management plans, and change management plans as needed to support successful delivery of assigned projects.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards, federal contracting norms, and relevant industry regulations.
- Self-manage workloads and proactively coordinate with supervisor on concerns related to workload.
- Support business development; identifying organic growth opportunities through project-based relationships.
- Demonstrate thought leadership and professional eminence by representing NIBS externally.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
A security clearance is not required, however ability to be granted or to obtain at a minimum, an interim Secret security clearance during employment and then obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance throughout the period of employment, is strongly preferred.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will have supervisory and direct report responsibilities. This position will also have responsibility for oversight of contracted staff.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s degree in a STEAM field, project management, or construction management, though a combination of equivalent education and professional experience will be considered. The position requires 2 or more years of project management experience, with a preference for those who have managed projects specifically within the built environment. A proven track record of successfully overseeing project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk for high-profile initiatives is essential. Additionally, experience navigating federal government contracting and reporting requirements is highly preferred.
TECHNICAL AND OTHER SPECIALIZED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency of project management methodologies (PMI, Agile, or equivalent).

POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented UV Print Machine Operator to support fabrication operations in Faribault, MN. This role is critical to producing high-quality printed components using UV-curable inks on various substrates. The UV Print Machine Operator will be responsible for machine setup, material handling, print quality verification, and maintaining production standards while adhering to safety and operational procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Set up and prepare UV printing machines by loading inks, calibrating print heads, and adjusting machine settings
- Load and align substrates (metal, plastic, glass, or other materials) for accurate printing
- Operate UV print equipment to apply inks according to customer specifications
- Program automated machinery using computer-based instructions
- Inspect printed materials for color accuracy, resolution, and overall quality
- Monitor feeding, printing, and racking processes to detect malfunctions and make adjustments
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning print heads and replacing consumables
- Manage color profiles to ensure consistent color reproduction
- Organize and schedule print jobs to meet production deadlines
- Record production data, scrap reports, machine settings, and maintenance activities in Epicor

GM’s Human Interface Design (HID) team is shaping the future of how people interact with our vehicles—through advanced interfaces, immersive visuals, and emotionally resonant experiences. As part of the Advanced UX Insights team, you’ll help the build a foundation for General Motors customer experiences on the 10-year horizon. You will frame and communicate visions of the future and propose new vehicle experience opportunities for GM through conceptual visualization, prototyping, and 2D/3D design. What You’ll Do:
Immerse in a collaborative process of learning and discourse, informed by the latest views on societal, technology, economic, policy and sustainability trends. Identify and communicate key disruptors that could alter the vehicle transportation business. Lead an iterative design problem solving process that considers existing and emerging technologies, then creatively applies them to address current and projected customer needs. Create visions for the future that define key customer value propositions, required vehicle attributes, hardware and software features, technical requirements, and customer experience outcomes. Envision advanced UX concepts and visual directions that shape future in‑vehicle experiences, supported by storyboards, narrative flows, and clear visual storytelling. Produce and guide others in the creation of high‑quality concept visuals—including 2D illustrations, UI explorations, and simple 3D models or animations that bring future‑state interactions to life. Deliver finished design assets such as layouts, sketches, motion graphics, and user journeys that are ready for collaboration, customer research or handoff. Your Skills & Abilities (Required Qualifications):
- 2D sketching/rendering, 3D conceptual modeling, animation, and presentation visualization
- 5+ years of professional experience in Industrial Design, Transportation Design, UX Design, Human Interface Design, or related fields.
- Strong, thoughtfully curated design portfolio demonstrating:
- A customer-centric approach to design highlighting original, creative solutions that solve clearly articulated customer needs
- Design proposals that consider the full spectrum of user interactions both physical and digital
- A range of design, visualization and communication methods utilized to best communicate your concepts across variety of design challenges

Job Purpose –
The Creative Services Project Manager is responsible for the intake of creative projects from internal marketing communication clients, thoughtfully and positively analyzing the project need, managing the project through the creative team workflow, and making sure deadlines, budget, and project expectations are met.
A Day in the Life
Project Management (60%):
· Oversee the development of design projects, brochures, ads, presentations, AEM web pages, Eloqua emails, and social media, while ensuring quality is maintained and that corporate identity is reflected properly.
· Maintain a smooth workflow through design, proofreading, and art direction by providing complete project requirements and communicating job tasks clearly.
· Provide work estimates, determine schedules, and provide direction to internal and external resources for job completion. Ensure the project is meeting deadlines and budget commitments.
· Identify and define the roles and responsibilities of the client and CV Creative & Digital COE to qualify the expectations of the client and ensure customer satisfaction for all projects.
· Meet with internal clients and designers to determine project goals, then act as a liaison between the client and the creative team to determine the best way to achieve the client’s requirements in the most cost-effective, expeditious manner.
· Build and maintain positive relationships with clients.

What is my role?
As a Designer, you are responsible for supporting the Design Director in all aspects of creating and executing monthly retailer presentations and special projects (from concept to final proto samples).
What You'll Do
- Assist the Design Director in creating styles from concept to completion; direct Associate Designers through line development
