Job Summary: Senior Inside Sales Representatives are responsible for entering and managing the quote and order process for NEFCO’s Customers. As the most experienced members of Inside Sales, Sr. Inside Sales Reps are responsible for managing customer relationships and driving new business.
Job Duties:
- Receive and process requests directly from customers and outside sales (via phone, email, fax, website ordering) for price quotations, product availability, and orders in a timely manner- specifically, key regional/national customer accounts;
- Responsible for generating new business and maintaining existing customer and vendor relationships through targeted phone calls and customer visits as needed;
- Meeting and exceeding top and bottom line sales and gross profit goals both individually and a cohesive sales team;
- Sell and service customers providing pricing and product application information;
- Generate add-on sales by anticipating other products that a customer may need but has not ordered yet;
- Input all orders into sales order system in a timely manner;
- Schedule orders according to customer requirements;
- Source materials that NEFCO does not keep in stock through interaction with purchasing team;
- Communicate consistently with Customers, Outside Sales Representatives, Inside Sales Managers and Operations Managers;
- Keep supervisors apprised of customer issues as warranted;
- Provide promotional literature and product information as requested;
- Maintain proficiency in NEFCO product catalogs, Eclipse, Microsoft Office Suite;
- Maintain product and industry proficiency via training on various vendor product platforms and Evergreen Marketing Group, as needed; and
- Attend weekly sales meetings.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate strong ability to work in fast pace, high pressure environment
- Excellent computer skills and capability to adeptly operate NEFCO’s Enterprise Resource Planning, Eclipse, as well as the Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills
- Maintains excellent regular attendance, punctuality at work to ensure a high-quality and timely response for customers

What we need: Our ideal Sales Support Coordinator is a highly organized, detail-driven professional who thrives in a structured, process-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
· Manage the day-to-day execution and movement of customer orders, ensuring deadlines and deliverables are met

· Review customer purchase orders for compliance and support contract documentation needs in partnership with Legal
· Source, create, submit, and track technical documentation deliverables, including product data, drawings, samples, test reports, certifications, LEED documentation, warranties, and closeout materials
· Assist Accounts Receivable with invoicing milestones, deposits, progress billings, retainage invoices, and aged receivables support
· Maintain key operational and sales reporting, including:
o Monthly bookings forecasts
o PO Book vs. ERP discrepancy analysis
o Monitoring aged opportunities and open order queues
o Customer-specific shipping and requirement matrices
· Support ERP management and system accuracy, including:
o New customer and vendor setup
o Credit reference review and terms recommendations
o Item ID creation and part number validation
o Batch invoicing, job closeout, cancellations, and change order coordination
· Ensure adherence to standardized processes, documentation requirements, and company policies
· Provide general administrative and office support, including facility coordination, supply ordering, and mail processing
· Other duties as assigned
What you need: Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
· 2+ years of experience in sales support, order management, project coordination, or a related administrative operations role
· Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume transactional order processing with strong attention to detail and accuracy

Inside the Job
Your day-to-day work will involve:
- Drive sales working with our top dealers in high priority markets; support RFPs routed to your assigned dealers, assist with customer questions to “close” the sale, support competitive bids specifying MillerKnoll products
- Build strong relationship across all roles inside MillerKnoll dealerships to serve as the ‘point-person’ for your assigned dealers/set of dealers; act as the dealer’s central resource for questions, training needs, product strategy inquiries, etc. to help grow MillerKnoll share of wallet
- Partner with dealer sales representatives on new customer sales opportunities and development of product mix including open plan and ancillary products

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Summary
The primary function of the Outside Parts Salesperson is to increase parts sales and market share and carry out all planned parts sales activities in their assigned sales territory. This is predominantly accomplished by visiting customers to build long term business relationships, identify opportunities to sell parts and close on those opportunities through a combination of transactional selling and establishing long-term lines of business. This position must act as the eyes, ears, and mouth of the Company and is required to communicate any barriers to business with Department management and employees and must help to identify and execute resolution of those barriers.
Supervision
The Outside Parts Salesperson develops and performs a variety of complex duties within established guidelines. This position holder must strategically plan and execute their efforts within the framework provided by Department management. Most duties are completed independently and require the maximum amount of personal accountability and self-motivation.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
* Developing and maintaining an in-depth knowledge of products and pricing.
* Identifying leads, managing prospects, and acquiring new business.
* Visiting assigned customers and prospecting for new ones.
* Communicating parts orders to inside parts salespeople.
* Meeting or exceeding new business sales goals.
* Conducting prospecting activities to secure initial and follow-up appointments with decision-makers.
* Scheduling and documenting activities.
* Preparing and drafting sales documentation and other necessary paperwork to complete sales promptly.
* Staying aware of market behavior and competitive trends and respond accordingly.
* Regularly meeting with the sales supervisor to review weekly sales activities, progress on goals, and status of prospective customers.
* Advising parts personnel of any special customer needs.
* Following up on parts orders to ensure the parts department meets or exceeds customer expectations.
* Acting as a public relations liaison for the company.
* Maintaining excellent customer service standards
* Resolving customer complaints and providing conflict resolution.
* Visiting customers to ensure and maintain excellent customer relations.
· Be aware of, assist, and be the primary leader in the completion and submission of customer bids and other quotations for sales opportunities within assigned territory.
* Work with Manufacturers and other representatives to increase customer relationships and sales success.
* Provide customers a consistent effort by maintaining a routine and scheduling time with customers.
* Identify and maintain a roster of potential clients who are not officially assigned to the territory to deal with customer attrition and accounts that show little successful sales results.
* Give presentations regarding the Parts Department and its offerings to current and potential clients.
* Record all customer visits and other significant contact with the customer before the end of the business day that the contact/visit occurred.
* Record follow ups, business quotations in the system to ensure team collaboration and that all tasks are properly executed.
* Maintain current and accurate contact information for each account such as customer name, title, email address and phone number.
* Follow established Company policy and Department procedures and workflows to complete tasks.
* Assist other work areas when needed.
* Overnight travel may be required to meet established territory plan strategies.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:
* Two (2) or more years of experience in service or parts departments of the trucking/bus industry.

Responsibilities
- Process sales orders, ensuring required details are complete, accurate, and submitted on time
- Assist sales professionals with day-to-day requests so they can spend more time with clients and prospects
- Respond to requests promptly and provide helpful, easy-to-understand explanations with support from your team
- Support lease approvals, upgrade quotes, and other pre-sales activities with guidance and training
- Work with pricing and sales teams to help move special pricing requests forward
- Learn and help reinforce required agreement paperwork across all Usherwood offerings
- Perform an initial review of new client agreements to ensure information is complete (training provided)
- Partner with sales professionals and clients to correct or clarify agreements after submission
- Take ownership of assigned client transactions from submission through delivery or project completion, with team support
Qualifications
