EDUCATION

Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Completion of Certified Nurse Anesthetist Training Program Graduate of a Nurse Anesthesia Educational Program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetist Council on accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Programs. Current State of Connecticut Nursing License, Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Connecticut.

EXPERIENCE

Prefer clinical working experience as a CRNA within the given specialty/service line recommended, but none required. APRNs, PAs, CRNAs and CNMs are required to be appointed to the Affiliated Medical Staff of a YNHHS Hospital and credentialed through the Medical Staff process. Evidence of current competence to practice as {an APRN, PA, CRNA, CNM} via appropriate reference letters from physicians and other practitioners must be able to be obtained during the Medical Staff appointment process in order to be eligible.

CRNA's must have sharp concentration and focus, along with the ability to stay calm under stressful conditions. CRNAs must be able to communicate clearly and effectively with surgeons and the surgical support team, as well as with patients and their families. A calm and reassuring manner is one way to inspire trust in patients, who may be apprehensive about surgery, as well as the surgical team. Anesthetic patient management must be immediate and responsive. Flexibility and adaptability are required.

PHYSICAL DEMAND

A CRNA must be able to demonstrate intellectual-conceptual, integrative and quantitative abilities; skills in observation, communication and motor functions; and mature behavioral and social attributes. Sensory- CRNA must be able to detect and interpret changes in monitoring alarms and equipment. Functional vision, hearing. no impairment of sense of smell and tactile sensation must be adequate. CRNA must be able to observe a patient accurately at a distance and close.Communication-CRNA should be able to speak, hear and observe. CRNA must be able to communicate effectively- includes speech, reading and writing.Motor -CRNA should have sufficient motor function to elicit pertinent information. Intellectual-Conceptual, Integrative and Quantitative Abilities-Abilities include measurement, calculation, reasoning, analysis and synthesis. Problem-solving, the critical skill demanded requires all of these intellectual abilities. CRNA should be able to comprehend 3-dimensional relationships and understand the spatial relationships. Behavioral and Social Attributes -CRNA must possess the emotional health required for full utilization of intellectual abilities, the exercise of good judgment, the prompt completion of responsibilities.   • Central Venous Catheter Placement
  • Arterial line placement
  • Temporary pacing wire management (CV surgery patients)

Night Coverage & Collaborative Decision-Making

  • Collaborates with the intensivist to provide overnight care for both NSCCU and CVICU, responding rapidly to changes in patient condition.
  • Communicate significant overnight changes to the daytime multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safe handoff.
  • Triaging with intensivist urgent consults from ED, floors, and post-operative areas for potential ICU admission.

A Brief Overview

The CDL Driver II is responsible for the safe, efficient transportation of materials to various job sites and other locations. This role requires maintaining a Class A or B Driver's license, inspecting and maintaining trucks, reporting shortages and claims to supervisors, and assisting in loading and storing of materials. Drivers must perform pre- and post-trip inspections, manage logs, and adhere to hours-of-service requirements. The CDL Driver II is typically a more experienced driver who may train new associates.

Clean Harbors/Safety-Kleen is looking for a Regional Class A Tanker Driver to join their safety conscious team in Chicago, IL! This route runs from Greater Chicago, IL are to various locations throughout the Eastern US, as well as cross-border into Ontario, Canada. This run averages 2300-2500 miles per week and REQUIRES a valid US Passport and the ability to travel into Canada.


About the role:


 



  • Drivers average $90-$120K per year
  • $7,500 sign-on-bonus available
  • Weekly home time
  • Compensation includes hourly wages (all on-duty non-driving time) and mileage pay

RESPONSIBILITIES

 




  • Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times
  • Operates tractor trailer tanker units
  • Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units
  • Ensures proper loading and unloading of hazardous waste/non-hazardous waste; Properly secures the loads
  • Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations
  • Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports
  •  


 


QUALIFICATIONS

 




  • Class A CDL 
  • Minimum 12 months of Class A driving experience
  • Minimum 3 months of liquid tanker experience 
  • HAZMAT and Tanker endorsements 
  • Ability to climb and work from heights 
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs or more
  • Ability to effectively use required technology such as mobile applications and computer software
