Job Summary

We’re looking for a detail-driven, proactive Bankruptcy Claims Paralegal to join our team. In this role, you’ll partner closely with attorneys to keep cases moving, claims on track, and clients informed every step of the way. Responsibilities and Duties

  • Keep a close eye on claim filing deadlines—nothing slips through the cracks on your watch
  • Maintain and update claims databases and case management systems with precision
  • Support attorneys in preparing, filing, and managing bankruptcy trust claims
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with attorneys and clients regarding claim status
  • Reconcile client records with filed claims and supporting documentation
  • Draft affidavits related to clients’ exposure to hazardous materials and resulting injuries
  • Assist with claim-related issues, deadline responses, and case progression


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required; Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
  • A client-first mindset with a focus on responsiveness and clarity


Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience managing a high-volume caseload
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills


Work Environment

  • Full-time, in-office during the first six months of training
  • After that, remote flexibility is earned based on performance (we reward strong work!)


The annualized salary range for this position is $53,000 to $60,000

The referenced salary range is based on the Firm's good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
