Wire Harness and Routing Design Engineer
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Duration: 12 Months of Contract with possibility of extension
Schedule: Mon-Fri
Pay range: $48 - $54 Hourly on W2
Seniority Level - Mid to Senior - 06+ years of overall experience
Typical task breakdown:
- Design wire harness routings, support detailing, and checking prints.
- Prepare and present at design reviews.
- Ensure designs follow design guides and best practices.
- Collaborate with suppliers.
- Support, cost rollups, FMEA, TFCs, Supplier collaboration, etc.
Additional Technical Skills:
(Required)
- Electrical Harness Design Experience (hydraulic integration design could also be considered)
- Extensive Creo, Teamcenter, and/or Fluid lines experience
- FMEAs
- Experience in reading electrical drawings and schematics
- Experience of using Microsoft Office computer tools (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Technical problem solving
- Ensure designs follow design guides and best practices.

- Ability to troubleshoot wiring and wire/cable mounting issues.
- 3D clearance checks
- TeamCenter Vis Mockup
