Position Summary
The Senior Director of Supply Chain is responsible for the strategic direction, performance, and continuous improvement of all end-to-end supply chain functions including:

Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership across global logistics, transportation, inventory, and quality functions.
- Lead and develop functional teams.

Logistics & Transportation Strategy

Inventory & Network Optimization
- Establish network inventory strategy including safety stock models, turns improvement, and working capital optimization.

Quality & Supply Chain Integrity

Experience

- Demonstrated success leading Demand Planning and SIOP
- Experience implementing Lean, Six Sigma, or structured problem-solving methodologies preferred.

Education

Job Requirements:
MUST HAVE: TWIC Card with 12 months of Port & Rail Experience within the last 5 years AND 24 months of Tractor/Trailer experience within the last 5 years!!!
Truck Driver Requirements:
- Valid Class A license
- 2 Years of verifiable Class A experience within the last 5 yrs REQUIRED
- 1 Year of Port and Rail experience within last 5 yrs REQUIRED

The purpose of this position is to provide continuous and consistent customer service to all passengers aboard light rail vehicles, at light rail stations and within light rail parking lots or other SacRT facilities. The Transit Ambassador will help resolve fare issues, address customer inquiries, assist with understanding the system routes, and handle any concerns and complaints all while maintaining a courteous and friendly attitude.
The Transit Ambassador is a full working level position that works independently on Light Rail trains and/or Light Rail stations performing the duties described herein.
- Assists passengers with fare system issues and address any questions to help ensure payments are collected. Helps any passengers that are having difficulties using the fare system, and addresses any related complaints or questions.
- Assists passengers with transfers; helps guide customers to access alternate bus or train services during regular service as well as in the event of a service disruption.
- Answers passenger inquiries and maintains a courteous and friendly demeanor at all times. Maintains an expert knowledge of the bus and light rail system in order to answer all customer inquiries and provides directions when asked. Provides route, schedule and fare information to customers upon request.
- Maintains vigilant watch at light rail stations and parking lots and help maintain a safe and clean environment for passengers and their vehicles. Occasionally removes and disposes of litter on trains to help maintain clean environment.
- Handles customer compliments, criticisms and complaints equally with a calm and pleasant demeanor. Attempts to address customer's issues but recognizes when issues need to be elevated to the next level of authority.
- Ensures a commitment to safety through consistent and professional behaviors in performance of all job functions.
- May be required to issue citations to customers that fail to pay fares and/or nuisance behavior, as well as appear in court to present evidence and testimony related to issued citations. Enters fare citation information into departmental computer system, completes required incident forms and accident reports when necessary.
- Other duties as required.
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of full time customer service experience working directly with the public, which must have included interpreting or providing information and assistance directly to the public. Transit experience preferred.
License/Certification: Obtain and maintain Penal Code Section 830.14 Certificate.

Job Summary:
The Operations Manager will oversee and optimize the transportation of goods in United States. This role requires expertise in cross-border logistics, regulatory compliance, and intermodal operations to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and customer-focused service delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations of 53’ domestic containers, ISO tankers, and FTL/LTL shipments.
- Coordinate dispatching, rail billing, ramp scheduling, equipment control, and last-mile deliveries.
- Monitor rail schedules, container ETAs, grounding, LFD, and gate-out activities in real time.
- Resolve rail ramp issues (holds, damage, improper interchange, customs flags).
- Act as primary operational contact for clients (LGE, LGES, Soulbrain, etc.).
- Provide daily tracking reports, delay notifications, and customer updates.
- Handle customer escalations, service recovery, and performance follow-ups.
- Ensure accuracy of B/L, arrival notices, invoices, PODs, T-3, AES filings (as applicable).
- Manage relationships with customers and vendors.
- Negotiate rates, monitor performance, and confirm service capacity.
- Oversee proper handoff between Chicago, Darwin, Laredo, Tacoma, Oakland, and other rail terminals.
- Review KPIs (on-time performance, rail dwell, trucking detention, billing accuracy).
- Implement operational SOPs and continuous process improvements.
- Report performance updates to senior management weekly and monthly.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business
- 3+ years in intermodal operations, trucking dispatch, or rail logistics.
- Experience with UP/BNSF/CPKC/FXE operations and rail billing.
- Knowledge of cross-border operations is a plus (but not mandatory).
- Strong knowledge of North America intermodal network.
- Familiarity with TMS systems (BoxLinks, Caris, Magaya, etc.).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Problem-solving under time-sensitive conditions.
