Job Description Summary:
This position is responsible for producing good quality exams in a timely manner while practicing good patient care and maintaining accurate patient records. The position assures the Mammography program meets all FDA Mammography Quality Standards Act and American College of Radiology requirements and standards.

Responsibilities And Duties: 75%
Conducts Mammograms; Escorts patient to the room, completes proper documentation, and explains procedure to patient prior to mammogram procedure. Takes images for interpretation. Verifies images are of good technical quality.
15%
Assists radiologist with stereotactic biopsy and needle localizations to include: machine calibration, sterile field set-up, explaining procedure to patient, offering consolation and ensuring comfort to the patient during procedure.

Performs quality control and assurance practices. Schedules preventative maintenance and calibration on equipment and schedules necessary repairs. Assures all mammography manuals are kept up-to-date. Keeps accurate and current QC logs to document variances, investigates and corrects any abnormal QC occurrences.

This is a full-time, in-office position in our headquarters office in North Charleston, South Carolina. You must live in the Charleston, SC area to be considered. Our main office is located in North Charleston on Centre Pointe Drive.

The PI Case Manager’s role is to provide high-level case management and ensure that the client obtains the best medical treatment within the coverage scope. Their role is to maintain continued contact with the client through all stages of the case, from Opening to Settlement. We want to ensure that every client has access to top-tier representation and the highest quality medical care available under the facts of their incident.

This role is the main point of contact for all client communication. Our most successful candidates have backgrounds in coordinating projects, working with multiple groups of people, and ensuring forward momentum on the cases. Getting clients the best possible medical care and top-tier representation is always top of mind for us.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $60,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Work the case from the time we sign to the time we settle or file
• Provide top-tier client communication through all phases of the case
• Exhibit excellent attention to detail while maintaining the files in accordance with firm policies and procedures
• Complete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneys
• Handle office correspondence and administrative tasks such as responding to emails and phone calls, communicating with opposing counsel, and insurance companies
• Efficiently complete and stay caught up on tasks
• Communicate with clients/providers/insurance companies
• Facilitate the property damage side of the claim with the client directly
• You are the client’s main point of contact with the firm and should develop a relationship with the client to ensure an excellent client experience

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required or 5 plus years in a PI paralegal role
• 1-2 years of previous law firm experience
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Organizational skills and communication skills are necessary for this position
• Ability to type 50 words per minute or faster
• Must be tech-savvy and able to work in a fast-paced, cloud-based environment
• Great attitude with a focus on collaborative work
• Spanish Speaking Bilingual a plus

Job Description Summary:

This position prepares patients for examinations and performs diagnostic radiology procedures following  guidelines set by OhioHealth and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Responsibilities And Duties:

40%
Performs Diagnostic procedures. Conducts routine radiographic studies in diagnostics. Conducts routine and specialized fluoroscopy studies utilizing digital fluroscope equipment; Maintains proficiency in each of these areas. Provides radiation safety for operator and patient.

Obtains diagnostic radiographs -- Places patient in proper positions for procedures, adhering to department policy regarding routine. Positions anatomical part in position necessary to obtain optimum radiograph. Observes patient throughout procedure and responds to any observed change period manipulates equipment in proper manner, adjust technical factors to assure optimal images, and observes equipment safety. Critiques images inputs through only those optimal for interpretation. Repeats images as necessary.

Prepares patients for examination -- Receives orders/request for procedures from physician, nursing unit, or radiology office and makes necessary entries in electronic medical record. Greets patient and friendly manner and makes positive identification. Explains procedure in clear, understandable terms. Ensures all necessary clothing and jewelry is removed and patient is properly attired. Starts IBS and draws up medications.

Performs miscellaneous related duties -- Assumes duties of electronic imaging technician when necessary. Processes images for interpretation. Imports and burn CDs. Performs QC tests on X ray unit and impacts as necessary. Works with students enrolled in radiography program under program guidelines.

Pleasant demeanor, neat, poised appearance. Ability to function as team member, with limited supervision.  Highly motivated with effective written and verbal communication and effective organizational skills.
