Job Description

Have you ever wondered who makes the awards for famous award shows? Most likely not, but we are the company who makes most of them! Everything at Society Awards flows through our Accounts Team, the white-gloved Concierges to all of our programs, and we’re looking to expand. It’s not just red carpet events, but also amazing corporations that you use every day, famous brands, technology and social media companies, fashion brands, sports, everything where a luxurious award may be wanted. We are looking for a high-performing Account Executive to manage custom award projects and handle all aspects of our customer’s needs. You blend relationship building, project management, internal coordination, design process, pitching, and fulfillment to bring a project from start to finish. We are looking for people from account management, project management, or high-value product sales, and put you through a beautiful curriculum and apprenticeship to learn the Society Awards ways. If you are a great account or project manager, or you are great at selling high-value or complex physical products that have a logistical component where when the client says, “Yes” the work really begins, and you have just a bit of interest in design or appreciate fanciness, then we will make you great at selling and managing luxury awards.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • You will work on existing accounts, through a brief apprenticeship period where you will learn our ways and keep some of those accounts
  • You will receive new projects from our Sales Executives and will work with the client on their project through completion
  • You own the project and are the main point of contact. Everything runs through you and you maintain all communication with the client and the internal team of design, production, and fulfillment
  • You provide incredible service to our customers, and by following our Standard Operating Procedures, you make order from chaos, and keep our customers exceptionally satisfied

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Successful Account Executive with 4+ years of experience and track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Experience working in a highly automated metrics based organization (familiar with Hubspot CRM, Zoho CRM, or similar tool)

What Makes You Great for This Role

  • You have the rare blend of exceptional attention to detail and the desire to close projects and hit sales goals
  • You are process driven and enjoy dotting i’s and crossing t’s and you are convincing and customer-centric, and know how to successfully bring a project to fruition

  • You love taking ownership and are highly resourceful, practical, and focused.
  • You like to get things done and you won’t stop until you’ve succeeded. You have a strong work ethic and demonstrated ability to achieve results.
