Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist I produces radiographic and diagnostic studies under the clinical direction of a Radiologist. Takes responsibility for film quality, patient care, safety, sterile technique and providing education for staff and students. Participates in other necessary activities in support of departmental operations. Operate radiology and fluoroscopic equipment to make clinical diagnostic x-rays films as directed by physicians.
Responsibilities:
1. Produces routine and specialized, portable and surgical radiographs and specialized studies to include, but not limited to: bone survey, peg placement and scoliosis series.
2. Applies radiation safety guidelines and patient protection guidelines.
3. Provides emotional support, comfort, general assistance and information to patients.
4. Coordinates or collaborates with physicians and nursing staff.
5. Operates and maintains radiographic equipment, film processors, computers and other departmental equipment.
6. Documents to the patient record.
7. As assigned, provides instruction in the basic theory, technical skills, and application of radiologic procedures to other employees, new employees and students.
8. Participates in quality control, quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
9. Performs clerical, darkroom, film processing, patient transportation and other miscellaneous functions in support of operations.

Maintain City office supplies, ensuring appropriate level of stock for all City departments located in City Hall.
Process dump pass requests, ensuring each resident receives his/her allotted number. Assist residents in replacing damaged or lost garbage and recycling containers.
Account Activity & Transactions: Receive cash, check, and credit card payments for Utility Billing, Recreation Program, Events Department, and other miscellaneous payments. Collect Utility Billing payments from City drop boxes. Import payments from Xpress Bill Pay and payments received at City Hall into the City's financial software, ensuring the payments are credited to the correct account. Process non-sufficient fund payments. Assist City residents with setting up, transferring, and terminating utility accounts.
Facility Security: Safeguard the security of the City Hall building; arm and disarm the alarm system and ensure doors are locked outside of regular office hours.
Miscellaneous Functions: Organize and manage the annual City Photo Contest. Assist with filing as needed. Ensure postage machine is working properly. Assists to order and maintain city office supplies.

The Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine at the University of Vermont and The University of Vermont Medical Center are seeking a part-time faculty psychiatrist at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level on the clinical scholar pathway to join an enthusiastic team of professionals at The University of Vermont Medical Center. This 400-bed university-based general hospital includes a 28-bed state-of-the-art adult psychiatry inpatient unit. The hospital is the principal teaching site for residents and medical students at The Robert Larner, MD, College of Medicine at the University of Vermont.
The candidate will participate in the Emergency Department Psychiatry Consultation Services and will also provide consultation or direct patient care in other aspects of the system.
The Psychiatry Consultation Service is a team of psychiatrists that consult to all medical and surgical services at the hospital, including pediatrics, and is led by an attending psychiatrist with subspecialty qualification in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. General psychiatry residents spend three months, full-time on the service, which also hosts medical students on clerkships and electives, PA students, and other interested learners.
The selected candidate will demonstrate the training and expertise to provide direct patient care, collaborate with other professional disciplines, and work with referring agencies and providers. In addition they will be responsible for supervision and teaching of house officers, medical students, and other staff. An appreciation of the importance of and satisfaction from performing these critical functions and an ability to work collaboratively are essential.
