The Opportunity: Biospecimen Management Specialist

Playing a critical role as a Biospecimen Management Specialist within Translational Medicine function, the position will be providing sample management support in, developing scope of work for query resolution and sample management, and maintaining effective working relationships with cross-functional teams for clinical trials.

• Provide expertise in sample tracking for clinical trials.
• Provide sample management support for clinical trials.

• 2+ years related professional experience in a clinical research setting, clinical/diagnostic laboratory.
• A knowledge of RAVE Electronic Data Capture System is highly desirable.
• Excellent scientific and business communication skills, strong interpersonal/collaboration skills, and planning skills.

• The Sample Coordinator will play a vital role in video shoots supporting advertising campaigns and social media content production while following the implemented sample process of the in-house Sample Lead.

4 pm – 2 am (Mon-Thurs)

Essential Functions of this position include:

• Prepare for Operation - Access job ticket information and set up a flexographic printing press to produce labels and other products to customer specifications. Ensure the machine is adequately stocked with the correct raw materials for each job. 
• Operate Flexographic Press - Operate assigned equipment in accordance with company safety standards and departmental SOPs to produce printed products according to customer specifications. Continually monitor supply levels of inks, paper, and other required materials to add as needed. Perform visual quality checks of the product throughout the printing process to ensure customer satisfaction. Flag bad product for removal from job run. Cut samples from each job and compare them to product standards to ensure compliance with customer specifications.
• Perform Line Clearance - Clean assigned area by removing all products from the line, trash, boxes, and other supplies associated with a completed order.

• Knowledge of the setup and operation of a flexographic printing press,, specifically Mark Andy P5 experience preferred, but will consider those with experience on other models as well.

Position Summary

The QC Analyst I, reporting to the Manager of Quality Control, will be responsible for serving as a performing routine GMP testing on analytical methods in the Quality Control laboratories.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine analytical testing including but not limited to cell-based potency assays, ddPCR, qPCR, ELISAs, limit tests using HPLC techniques.
• Prepare solutions and maintain cell lines for various clinical programs
• Prepares laboratory solutions, maintains cell lines, and other day to day laboratory activities.
• Maintains laboratory documentation including logbooks, test forms, LIMS data, and electronic data.
• Assist with revisions of work instructions, SOPs, forms, reports, and electronic laboratory notebook analytical records.
• Assist with management analytical test method supplies and samples as needed.
• Ensure lab areas are clean, organized, maintain equipment and consumables.
• Work closely with Analytical Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Production staff and any other relevant departments.
