We are looking for a highly motivated individual to lead our Merchandising Team. This role is responsible for maintaining our vast product database, managing a team, developing strategic relationships with vendor partners, managing the product portfolio, analyzing and sourcing categories to deliver the most competitive cost of ownership.ย 


This position will be on-site and may be located local to our Walnut Creek, CA, Salt Lake City, UT or Gilbert, AZ locations.


Supervisory Responsibilities: Managing a team with up to 10 employees.

Travel Requirements:ย Approximately up to 25%.


Duties and Responsibilities to include, but not limited to:


Supervisory:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations within the Merchandising department.
  • Create, organize, distribute, oversee and review work of team members.

Vendor and Product Database Management:

  • Ensure product details including pricing, descriptions and supporting information are timely and accurately maintained in the ERP.ย 
  • Develop product knowledge with team and communicate pertinent knowledge within the company systems and to other company team members and teams.
  • Maintain vendor records within the ERP to ensure proper pricing, contact information and supporting documentation.ย 

Inventory Management:

  • Evaluate current inventory and sales trends overall and by locations to forecast recommended pre-season inventory buys.ย 
  • Negotiate markdowns and returns with vendors to maximize product retirement.ย 

Analysis:

  • Stay updated on all competitive situations for key items and react when necessary.
  • Analyze category to determine item selection and SKU rationalization to maximize sales and profits.
  • Oversee managed vendors with reporting, analysis and recommendations.ย 

Strategic & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work cross-functionally with other teams and leaders to maximize awareness and create 360 view of user experience.ย 
  • Strive to continuously obtain new, improved or replacement products that enable the company to achieve its strategic product offering goal.

Other:

  • Work closely and cross-functionally with Sales and Marketing departments in new product offerings and development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to facilitate and organize the product portfolio, ensuring it meets customer needs and aligns with the companyโ€™s overall goals and objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned by management to address and provide effective support of the company mission, values and goals.



Requirements


ย ย Experience Required

  • 2+ years of people management experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in merchandising, brand management, product management, demand planning, purchasing, or related field.
  • ERP/PIM experience.ย 

Must Have / Must Have Skills:

  • Strong aptitude for retail math and ability to apply mathematical concepts to pricing models, percentages, rounding, etc.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Must Have Soft Skills

  • Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead and obtain results through others.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent in oral and written communication.ย 
  • Strong planning skills.

Responsibilities

Rooming patients: Collecting pertinent information regarding the patient's chief complaint, family history, social history, surgical history, and medication reconciliation upon arrival for a patient visit. Telephone Interactions: As directed, completing necessary telephone communications with patients, families, pharmacies, and/or other health care facilities. Gathering information and maintaining patient information via telephone per department specific processes and policies. Administrative tasks including, but not limited to, patient check in or check out, prior authorizations, scheduling appointments, verification of benefits, and coordination of referrals and testing. Office procedures as directed and per department specific competencies. May perform procedures such as urine catheterizations, bladder scanning, suture or staple removal, application or removal of casts at the direction of a provider, reading results of negative TB skin tests or steering patient to the care of a department nurse when TB screening appears to have indications of a positive read, and other diagnostic testing at the point of care. Provide patient with written instructions regarding procedures, medications, or follow up instructions at the direction of the provider. CMA staff may retrieve and provide condition specific education from the internet, internal website, or printed materials per the provider directions and orders. Administer medications per the provider order. Provide assistance with prescription medication refills per department protocols. Call medications into pharmacies, notify patients of refills, and documents actions within the EMR per provider orders. Maintain department specific competencies related to point of care testing, equipment handling, and specialty training. Administration of immunizations, PPD testing, nebulizer treatments, oral medication administration to patients age 0-21. Obtain vital signs on patients age 0-21 to include weight, height, blood pressure, pulse ox, pulse. Assist with in office procedures such as toenail removal, lesion removal, circumcision. Complete medication reconciliation in office of all medication and over the counter medications that the patient may be taking Assist with physical form completion

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $18.33per hour - $29.69per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidateโ€™s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
