SUMMARY

The Executive Director provides market leadership and direction for the effective management of operations and the delivery of home health agency services, strategic planning, development and attainment of market/Company goals and objectives.  


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  1. Provides leadership and executes a strategic planning process that supports market growth including census, staffing, retention, utilization, and compliance.

  4. Assures recruitment and retention of clinical staff adequate to meet patient needs and guarantee prompt and timely admissions of all referrals. 
  5. Maintains a system of staffing which is based on patient needs and which defines the number and mix of Clinical Staff and office support staff needed. 
  6. Works with the sales team to develop and execute growth strategy.  
  7. Reports monthly KPIs to leadership team, creating action plans to address areas of opportunity/deficiency.  
  8. Demonstrates and maintains a working knowledge of and ensures Agency management adheres to the Medicare Conditions of Participation and State Operations Manual 
  9. Directly and indirectly supervises market staff. 
  10. Demonstrates and gives proper assistance in handling of satisfactory on-site surveys by all regulatory bodies as pertains to home health. 
  11. Participates in the development of the company-wide Performance Improvement Plan in consultation with Executive Team and Clinical Coordinators. 
  12. Establishes a clear channel of communication between Executive Team, Clinical Coordinators and staff to keep them informed and promotes professional working relationships with alt departments and agencies. 
  13. Demonstrates understanding of the principles of human resources, applicable laws, policies and procedures. 
  14. Leads and attends company committees as requested. 
  15. Exercises authority through channels to ensure delegation and empowerment of staff. 
  16. Other duties as assigned. 


SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE  


Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field 
  • Must be at least 21 years old

  • Master’s degree in a related field desirable but not required.

Essential Functions of this position may include but are not limited to:

  • Ideal candidates will possess welding experience with GMAW, GMAW-P and SMAW
  • Performs welding processes on carbon steel (OSS, HSS, HY, HSLA, etc.) assemblies to required tolerances using welding metals, metal alloys and with various joint configurations.
  • Determines layouts and welds parts and assemblies according to engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Oxy/Fuel pre-heat and carbon arc gouging, occasional mirror welding. Verifying weld size using weld gauges.
  • Will monitor and verify quality in accordance with SSP's or MDD's.
  • Requires occasional heavy lifting up to 45lbs multiple times during an 8 to 12-hour shift. 
  • Requires standing and walking for extended periods during an 8 to 12-hour shift. 
  • Requires occasional bending from waist, crouching, kneeling and crawling periodically during an 8-to-12-hour shift. 
  • Requires occasional climbing ladders up to 25 feet at a time. 
  • Requires occasional working in confined space work environment with the potential of extreme temperature exposure, chemical exposure, and radiation exposure during an 8-to-12-hour shift.

Requirements

Qualification, education, and experience requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience with High School diploma/GED and/or certification in assigned area preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision/oversight; have working knowledge of precision calibration tools (weld gauges), be able to operate multiple types of welding equipment, and possess good trouble shooting / problem solving skills.
  • Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work multiple shifts.
  • Able to read and interpret drawings, technique sheets and weld symbols.
  • Ability pass respirator fit-check and wearing of respirator for portions of or all of an 8 to 12-hour shift or as required. Must be clean shaven for fit-check and dawning of respirator. Must be able to comply with respirator fit-testing requirements. Clean-shaven status may be required in accordance with OSHA respirator safety standards. Reasonable accommodations will be considered where required by law.

Weld Test Requirements:

  • GMAW-SP & GMAW-P
  • GMAW-P will be 3 position plate tests with MIL-100S-1 wire; GMAW-SP will be in 2G position with MIL-100S-1 wire.
  • Welding tests will be bent immediately after the test 
  • Further volumetric welding tests will be given to mimic hull penetration and liner installations.
  • Successful completion of volumetric weld tests is required for X-Ray placement.

Job Summary

Perform a variety of duties related to the protection of life and property, enforcement of criminal and traffic laws, prevention of crime, preservation of the public peace, apprehension of criminals, and calls for service. Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Engage in law enforcement patrol functions by foot, bike or vehicle including rotating shifts and physically checking doors and windows of buildings to ensure they are secure. Conduct visual and audio surveillance.

Operate a law enforcement vehicle during both day and night; in emergency situations involving speeds in excess of posted limits, in congested traffic and in unsafe road conditions caused by factors such as fog, smoke, rain, ice and snow.

Job Duty 3 -
Effect an arrest, forcibly if necessary, using handcuffs and other restraints; subdue resisting suspects using maneuvers and weapons and resort to the use of hands and feet and other approved weapons in self-defense.
