Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and maintains basic electrical product detail, assembly and installation designs (e.g., equipment racks, power panels, cable routing and geometry, antennas).

  • Develops and maintains basic cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs. Assists with engineering design disposition on discrepancies (e.g., rejection tags, production action requests, shop revision requests).

  • Follows documented processes, specifications and procedures that support the design and manufacture of electrical commodities.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with a BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering and strong experience in automotive product development. The candidate must have either a Master’s degree with 5+ years of experience or a Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience.

The role focuses on the mechanical design and packaging of hardware components supporting automotive ADAS systems.   • Experience developing 3D models and 2D drawings from concept through mass production
  • Knowledge of sheet metal and injection molding manufacturing processes
  • Experience with FEA, meshing and digital mockup
  • Strong understanding of tolerance stack-up and mechanical design optimization
  • Ability to manage multiple engineering projects
  • Leadership and coordination skills

Good to Have :

  • Advanced surfacing expertise
  • Experience working on ADAS hardware such as vision systems, radar or safety sensors
  • Experience supporting prototyping, validation and manufacturing launch in automotive programs

Airframe Design Engineer Location: Fort Worth, TX Job ID: #72177 Pay Range: $70-100 an hour 12+ month contract The Airframe Design Engineer at Bell is responsible for design activities related to the preparation, conversion, and release of engineering data.

Also, this position has responsibilities for compliance to company Design Manuals, Best Practices, Customer Specifications, Military Standards, Bell procedures, Program Directives, and annual Compliance requirements.

Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with Planning, Manufacturing, Procurement and Maintenance processes is preferred • Experience working with product lifecycle management (PLM) software such as ENOVIA to drive product lifecycle is preferred.

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering is preferred.
