Job Responsibilities


The Finance Business Process Analyst role is responsible for the areas outlined below within our global ERP Initiative:


  • Become an expert in end-to-end system design and processes
  • Gather detailed business requirements
  • Test scenarios thoroughly to ensure they meet business requirements
  • Ensure defects are identified during testing and resolved timely
  • Document Business Process Design (PDD) and update any changes to standard as required
  • Create job aids for day-to-day end users
  • Work with subject matter experts to identify training needs for target audience
  • Participate in Train the Trainer (TTT) events
  • Deliver, reinforce, and sustain end user training activities (classroom / virtual)
  • Support development of an on-going training and user adoption model
  • Deliver Hyper-care support during Go Live where necessary
  • Support monitoring of data integrity and support financial data loads
  • Be a visible advocate for organizational change & sustainability
  • Support communication efforts to drive ERP awareness and adoption


Job Requirements


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, or a closely related field
  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or other relevant business preferred
  • 5+ years experience in managing finance functions including
  • General Ledger
  • Controlling including manufacturing costing experience
  • Fixed Assets
  • Reporting using external consolidation tools
  • Accounts Receivable knowledge
  • Accounts Payable knowledge
  • Data management for cutover of financial information such as open trail balance, fixed assets etc.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Humility to learn a new business, while applying relevant experience
  • Ability to work independently and on cross-functional teams while accepting ownership

  • Validate that employee tax setups are accurate and the proper federal, state and local taxes are being deducted and remitted for all employees.
  • Analyze reports from payroll system to ensure tax deposits and filing of federal, state and local tax returns are accurate.
  • Review tax notices from federal, state and local jurisdiction and determine the necessary course of action required.
  • Participate in the annual W2 processing, reconciling and verification process.
  • Assist with responses to inquiries from management, taxing authorities and Accounting regarding tax withholding payments and GL inquiries.
  • Responsible for timely validation of ACH and positive pay banking files.
  • Responsible for entering off-cycles check, issuing voids and other banking functions as required.
  • Maintain professional demeanor at all times while representing the company
  • Regular and predictable attendance at assigned times is required
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education & Qualifications

  • Associates' degree in accounting or finance, or minimum 3 years of equivalent experience in payroll banking or tax filing
  • FPC (Fundamental Payroll Certification) or CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
  • Solid grasp of payroll principles, wage and hour law, payroll taxes
  • Working knowledge of federal, state, and local withholding tax computations and deposit/filing requirements
  • PC literate: Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, and mainframe payroll application experience
  • Must be 18 years in age or older
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check
  • Willingness to work independently within in a team environment and assist the team with other duties as required
  • Must be able to able to work under time constraints and ensure deadlines are met

Job Location

This is a remote role. This person must reside in the greater Joliet, IL area.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes and achieves a consistent daily and weekly customer schedule, i.e. "store visits" in the most efficient manner to meet customer needs and expectations and maintain cost effectiveness
  • Proactively monitors proper inventory levels in the stores using cycle counts and various reports. Works with customer service and replenishment teams to resolve any discrepancies
  • Participates in regional company training classes and events
  • Leads and/or participates in a wide variety of customer events; demonstration clinics, product knowledge classes, contractor events, weekend special events, promo events, associate training, and community outreach programs
  • Properly builds and installs product displays and new store resets
  • Ensures product is safely stacked and/or properly secured

  • Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle to travel to and from customer locations and local Oldcastle businesses as needed

This role involves Concur expense solution administration and partner with management in ensuring adherence to the Company's Corporate Card Policies and Procedures. The Corporate card analyst manages the configuration of the Concur rules to support operations, resolution of escalated T&E program issues, communications to end users, and active participation in all related strategic projects. Key Responsibilities

  • Sustain a culture of continuous improvement to deliver effective and efficient travel and expense administration.
  • Use proper analytical tools to monitor, analyze and investigate inefficiencies or process failures to develop and propose improvement implementations.
  • Monitor proper T&E controls as well as key operational management controls.
  • Propose concrete action plans to Management regarding training needs based on the frequency of problem types, audit findings, and inquiries from cusstomers. Also, deliver feedback on suggested policies and procedures to gain efficiencies and overall compliance with expense management tools and platforms.
  • Provide guidance and training to card holders and Concur users as needed. Support them with any expense reporting issues. Questions must be handled with diplomacy, friendliness, accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality.
  • Provide necessary reports and analyses to management, conduct sensitive investigations, and enforce compliance with Travel and Expense company policies.
  • Support external audit efforts and maintain familiarity with SAP elements (e.g., chart of accounts, profit center and cost center hierarchies).
  • Remain abreast of best practices and trends relevant to corporate card administration, shared services, and related technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Concur administration.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in working within Corporate Card functions in a Shared Service.

The individual selected for this role will be reporting to the Director of Safety and Risk Management and is expected to enhance the consistency pertaining to claim and risk management.

This position will be based out of the Michigan Paving and Materials Canton Corporate Office, and there are opportunities for remote work.


Job Functions

Claims Management – Workers Compensation, Liability Claims (Auto, Property, General, Contractual)

  • Provide oversight of Workers Compensation and Liability claims by assisting in investigation, valuation, and ultimate resolution for both non-litigated and litigated matters.
  • Mitigates the organization's exposure to risk by coordinating all claims-related activities along with our local management and safety managers.
  • Reviews first and third-party claims for irregularities, accuracy, and completeness. Requests additional information, where necessary, for completion of claim processing. Maintains updated records and prepares required reports.
  • Resolving bona fide claims at the least possible cost through various risk management and risk transfer techniques, whenever possible.
  • Partnering with internal stakeholders, legal counsel, and third-party administrator (TPA) to drive WC and Liability claims resolution.
  • Direct the program to ensure the proper and efficient handling of claims, gathering data on claims for both record keeping and loss forecasting purposes, and estimating the financial value of claims.
  • Supports the Regional Director regarding all aspects of claims administration, loss forecasting, company compliance and analysis to assist in loss reduction and safety of employees.
  • The primary function of this position is claims management. Knowledge and/or experience in contracts and insurance requirements would be a plus.


Contract Risk and Compliance

  • Identifying contract risk and leading improvements to mitigate/reduce operational and contractual risk.
  • Work with and assist Vendor Compliance Manager in the collection, review and submittal of contractual and insurance documents pertaining to contractors, subcontractors and vendors for the organization.
  • Submitting claims and company incidents into internal and, when required, third party systems such as Riskonnect, Travelers, Liberty Mutual, ISNet, etc.
  • Maintain documentation and submit required information pertaining to corporate risk & safety reporting, internal reporting systems and annual certification requirements.


Qualifications

Education/Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, risk management, or a related field of study or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum five (5) years of experience managing Liability claims with an insurer, third-party administrator (TPA), or risk management function.
  • Demonstrated skills working with outside advisors, insurers, TPA, and legal partners.

  • Implement and update plans and programs in alignment with the Benefits Department and CRH Americas goals, including the creation of requirements used for system updates.
  • Resolve employee inquiries and issues related to health and welfare plans and programs.
  • Monitor and analyze eligibility and enrollment data, recognizing trends and outliers to resolve issues and/or recommend improvements.
  • Complete billings & payments on a timely basis, performing audits to ensure accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements


  • Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of combined experience in benefits, with significant expertise in managing health & welfare plans and programs.
  • Experience with multistate worksites and an employee population of over 10k employees is desirable.
  • Demonstrated experience of successfully managing health and welfare plans and programs.
  • Financial acumen: Experience in managing budgets, auditing, and understanding the financial impact of benefits on the organization.
  • Technical knowledge: In-depth knowledge of ACA, COBRA, ERISA, FMLA, HIPAA, IRS, and other applicable laws and governing agencies. Expertise in HR systems and benefits administration platforms.
  • Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify and explain complex concepts clearly to all levels of the organization. Fluent in English.
  • Analytical skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify trends, root causes of health & welfare issues and implement plans/programs.
  • Planning and execution skills: The ability to break down complex issues and projects into actionable steps aligning with leadership to ensure goals and deadlines are met.
  • Organizational & Detail-Oriented Skills: Strong time management, process improvement, and attention to detail to successfully implement and manage health and welfare plans and programs.

Job Summary


The Payroll Supervisor oversees the organization’s end-to-end payroll operations within the UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) environment, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing. This role provides leadership to payroll staff, enforces internal controls, and partners closely with HR, Finance, and leadership. The Payroll Supervisor also serves as a UKG subject matter expert (SME), guiding system usage, troubleshooting, configuration support, and process optimization.

Job Responsibilities


  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains payroll team members, including onboarding related to UKG workflows, system features, and compliance standards.
  • Oversees daily team operations, workload distribution, and payroll processing cycles within UKG Pro and/ or UKG Dimensions.
  • Conducts performance evaluations and provides coaching to drive accuracy, service excellence, and system proficiency.
  • Partners with the Payroll Manager and Director of Payroll on disciplinary actions and terminations in accordance with company policy.
  • Fosters a collaborative team culture committed to data integrity, continuous improvement, and strong system utilization.
  • Oversees payroll processes within the UKG platform, ensuring accurate preparation, calculation, and distribution of payroll.
  • Reviews and approves payroll transactions including wages, bonuses, garnishments, benefits deductions, taxes, and other earnings/deductions in UKG.
  • Ensures timely processing of all changes (new hires, terminations, pay adjustments, status changes) in the UKG system.
  • Manages data integrity by monitoring UKG timekeeping, accruals, and scheduling modules when applicable.
  • Conducts audits of UKG payroll reports, calculations, and timekeeping data to ensure accuracy and identify system or user-driven discrepancies.
  • Interprets and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws, with application within UKG configuration and processing rules.
  • Supports year-end UKG activities including W-2 processing, tax reconciliation, and system-driven audit reporting.
  • Serves as a key escalation point for UKG system issues, partnering with UKG Support when needed.
  • Leads or participates in UKG system upgrades, feature releases, enhancements, and UAT (user acceptance testing).
  • Recommends improvements to payroll workflows, leveraging UKG capabilities to increase efficiency and automation.
  • Creates, maintains, and distributes standard and ad hoc payroll reports using UKG Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
  • Collaborates with HR, Benefits, and Finance to ensure accurate cross-functional data flow in the UKG platform.

Job Requirements


  • Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with UKG Pro, UKG Dimensions, UKG Ready, or similar UKG modules.
  • Strong understanding of UKG workflows including payroll processing, timekeeping, accruals, reporting, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially related to system-based payroll issues.
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching ability.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to work with UKG reporting tools.

Job Summary


The Payroll Administrator position will be responsible for multi-state payroll administration based out of our San Antonio manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate is a detailed and deadline-oriented individual who excels in both the technical and customer service aspects of payroll. This position will report to the Director of Finance.

Job Responsibilities


To perform this job satisfactorily, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty.


  • Responsible for all aspects of payroll administration for a defined group of employees, including data entry, reconciliations, tax statuses and adjustments.
  • Execute weekly payroll preparation and distribution of the organization’s multi-state payroll in accordance with regulations and company policy, using UKG Ready.
  • Coordinate the timely and accurate periodic, quarterly and year-end tax filings with third party vendor, including T-4s.
  • Receive, enter, answer, and maintain (including filing) garnishments in accordance with federal and state requirements.
  • Process VOE (Verification of Employment).
  • Review/Approve employee self-service changes via UKG Ready.
  • Reconciles general ledger accounts.
  • Commission payment calculations.
  • Coordinate annual W-2 processing.
  • Create and run reports using UKG Ready and BI Reports.
  • Stay abreast of current payroll laws and changes and ensure processes and policies follow these rules.
  • Support ERP and technology upgrade projects related to payroll as required.
  • Perform ad hoc analysis.



Job Requirements


  • 3+ years of experience working as a Payroll Admin/Analyst or related
  • Must possess a solid understanding of multi-state payroll practices
  • Proven track record of excellent customer service
  • Strong time management, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Report writing skills preferred, but not required
  • PC proficiency (specifically Microsoft applications) required
  • Self-directed and motivated to success and exceed expectations
  • High school diploma or equivalent – college degree preferred
  • Experience with UKG software preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, producing high-quality products and meeting deadlines
