A leading manufacturer of automated packaging equipment is looking to hire a technically capable Technical Writerto support the creation and management of machine documentation. Position description
The Department of Nuclear Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley is generating an applicant pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach regular and Summer Session courses, should an opening arise. In addition to classroom/laboratory teaching and preparation, general duties may include (but are not limited to) managing and mentoring graders and/or graduate student instructors (teaching assistants), holding office hours, assigning grades, advising students, preparing course materials (e.g., syllabus), and maintaining a course website.
We are also seeking applicants for hourly Teacher Special Programs (TSP), should an opening arise. The TSP instructor's principal responsibility will be overseeing capstone projects in the Master of Engineering (MEng) program of the Nuclear Engineering Department. This will include the following tasks: Designing and proposing capstone projects. Helping match students into suitable projects. Meeting with each capstone project team on a regular basis to review results, manage interpersonal aspects, and maintain efficient progress. Provide critical, constructive feedback on students' written reports and oral presentations. Coordinating and participating in the MS Plan II exam of each student at the end of the capstone project period.

We are responsible for the architecture, design, and documentation of deliverable FPGA embedded processing. We engage at the outset of the weapon system development and follow our designs through deployment. As a Principal FPGA Design Engineer you will develop FPGA designs for all major vendors and device families including: Designs are implemented using VHDL for the following applications: gigabit serial interfaces, Radio Frequency (RF) and Electro-Optical (EO) DSP, controls, data links, embedded processing and processor interfaces.
Designers work with circuit card designers and systems engineers to develop requirements, architect new parts, collaborative modeling of algorithms, partition and perform code development, simulation, and place and route. Design support is expected from requirements definition through integration and test. Design documentation and configuration management are required.
Deliver production-quality FPGA releases from initial proof of concept to production
Architect FPGA-based systems to determine parts, interfaces, and Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
Translate system-level requirements into FPGA requirements.
Design and code in VHDL for reliability and maintainability.
Drive projects and execute program schedules on time and budget.
Manage moderately sized projects or processes
Support customer interactions and relations
Make improvements to processes, systems or products to enhance overall performance
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology
FPGA/ASIC design (VHDL and/or Verilog coding) or FPGA/ASIC verification (SystemVerilog coding)
Delivering FPGA/ASIC solutions to system level applications
Hands on experience with integration and debug of FPGA/ASIC devices
~ The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance prior to the start date. S. citizen are eligible for a security clearance.
FPGA design experience in one or more of the following areas: o Radar processing techniques o Image processing techniques for visual and infrared sensors o Embedded systems design using ARM, Microblaze, or Nios processors o Gigabit serial interfaces and multi-gigabit transceivers (MGT’s)

:The Engineering Business Lead is responsible for auditing and tracking all System Engineering expenses and construction projects. Responsible for reporting on start-ups and completions of construction projects. Other duties include but are not limited to issuing the Purchase Orders for engineering services and construction contracts include fixed asset coding according to accepted accounting life cycles, tracking all related billing, and grouping per project for Construction Budget Reporting. Also responsible for all Engineering Expense Budget Reporting each month and for year-end. Also responsible for leading office staff, assigning tasks and coordinating processes for reporting work and budget progress.Education:
Preferred: Associate degree or higher in Accounting, Construction Management, or a related fieldExperience:
