As a CNC Vertical Boring Machine (VBM) Operator, you will be responsible for the precise manufacturing of components using CNC VBM machinery, ensuring adherence to safe and efficient production processes. What You Bring
- A minimum of 3 years of experience operating boring CNC machines with Siemens and/or FANUC controls is required.
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Applicants must be able to obtain and maintain Fork Truck and Critical Lift (B+) level crane licenses.
- Ability to remain in a stationary position at the machine console and move/position to set up tooling and inspect parts throughout the shift, reasonable accommodations available.
- Ability to manually lift up to 50 lbs for short durations, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Overview:
The primary purpose of this position is to set up, operate, program manual and CNC horizontal milling machines, manual lathes, and CNC lathes performing detailed operations on a variety of parts and components. Use a range of tools, including milling cutters, boring bars and heads, saws, micrometers, gauges, indicators, and more. Your role will require a proven understanding of shop mathematics and the capacity to interpret complicated drawings, specifications, charts, and tables. You should also have experience with precision measuring instruments and/or specialized occupation training.
Applicants will have 5-7 years of practical trades training, which includes familiarity with blueprints, CNC machinery, programming, G & M code, and manual machining. Effective written and verbal communication abilities are essential, and the ability to maintain Siemens Energy equipment certifications is required.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Will work from manufacturing information, drawings, written and/or verbal instructions and perform such operations as:
- Using material handling devices, loads/unloads parts from machines and/or assists crane operator.
- Setting up machines by installing tooling, adjusting to proper machine settings, feeds, speeds, etc., per job documentation and drawing specifications; assure proper tooling pre-sets.
- Will perform in-process integrity checks, as required, in order to maintain specific drawing tolerances.
- Conducting in-process testing and charting operational information and/or recording data as required, removing chips from work pieces and clean for inspections, as required to maintain a clean work area.
- Completing log sheets, downtime records, and other information, as required by the data collection system.
- Adapting to various situations and adjusting to the shift priorities.
What You Bring
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent. An associate degree or trade school certificate is preferred.
- A basic knowledge in the use of shop mathematics, together with the use of complicated drawings, specifications, charts, tables, various types of precision measuring instruments and/or the training generally applicable in a particular or specialized occupation.
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and how it applies to the engineering provided drawing.

Objectives of this role
A Associate, Synthetics Sewing is responsible for sewing web slings used in overhead lifting applications. Your primary focus will be operating industrial sewing machines to produce high-quality and durable web slings.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines to sew web slings for overhead lifting purposes.
- Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, or other specifications to determine the sewing requirements.
- Prepare materials, including cutting fabric, straps, and other components, as per the provided measurements.
- Set up sewing machines, ensuring proper tension, stitch length, and thread alignment for each sewing project.
- Inspect finished products for defects or irregularities, ensuring they meet the quality standards.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, including cleaning, oiling, and changing needles, to ensure smooth operation.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or issues to the supervisor for timely resolution.
- Maintain work area, equipment, and tools in a clean and organized manner, and follow all Safety Guidelines
Required skills and qualifications
- Proven experience in fabricating and distributing lifting and rigging equipment, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Expertise in fabricating various types of slings (nylon, polyester, wire rope), wire ropes, lifting devices, rigging hardware, sling protection solutions, hoists, synthetic ropes, and tie-down equipment.
- Strong understanding of materials used in lifting and rigging applications and their respective properties.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to lifting and rigging.
- Ability to operate industrial sewing machine and tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Shift Options: Monday–Friday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM (10-hour shift) or 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (8-hour shift) Saturdays: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM (as needed) Pay Rate: $18.00 to $19.00 per hour Job Responsibilities: Perform general labor duties in a machine shop environment Clean parts and deburr welded components using electric hand grinders Operate an electric saw to cut steel materials Use measuring instruments (tape measures, calipers, etc.) to verify dimensions Inspect parts for quality and accuracy Operate overhead crane and hi-lo (forklift) as needed Assist with various tasks based on production needs and experience Requirements: Reliable, honest, and hardworking Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Ability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance Excellent punctuality and attendance Crane and hi-lo experience preferred
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities: General Maintenance: Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems Inspect or test damaged machine parts and mark defective areas or advise supervisors or repair needs Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists Record production, repair, and machine maintenance information Read work orders and specifications to determine machines and equipment requiring repair or maintenance Set up and operate machines and adjust controls to regulate operations Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies Collect and discard worn machine parts to maintain machinery and work areas Clean machines and machine parts, using cleaning solvents, cloths, air guns, hoses, vacuums, or other equipment Coordinate with vendors and manage Purchase Orders for maintenance/repair activities MHE: Conduct regular inspections of MHE, such as forklifts, conveyor systems, and pallet jacks Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues.

- Friday JOB SUMMARY: The Maintenance Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of all automated equipment, and some facility maintenance.
Assign tasks to and supervise the maintenance staff, ensuring that jobs are completed safely and on time.
This position also involves ordering and managing operating supplies.
Ensuring that all equipment and facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Assist General Manager in supervising additional technicians assigned to the site.
Assign or dispatch work orders through CMMS.
Perform monthly audits to check work quality of assigned technicians.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Responsibilities: Strong organization skills Leading maintenance staff, contractors, and volunteers.
Planning and scheduling work tasks for the maintenance team.
Managing preventive maintenance programs.
Ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Ordering and managing tools, equipment, and supplies.
Responding to maintenance requests and incidents.
Training and developing maintenance personnel.
Reviewing staff performance and providing feedback.
Collaborating with other departments to ensure efficient operations.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) Demonstrated attention to detail.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Must use a personal phone for work tasks, such as Microsoft Teams, email, pictures, and video.

* QUALIFICATIONS: education and/or experience: Associate’s degree in maintenance or equivalent from two-year college or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience as maintenance lead or supervisor.
5 years' experience of relevant experience minimum.
knowledge, skills and abilities: Troubleshoot, adjust, and replace AC and DC electrical equipment, including batteries, control stations, fuses, motor starters, relays, switches, timers, servo-driven equipment, photoelectric devices, transducers, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and encoders.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace mechanical components such as motors, reducers, drive chains, sprockets, sheaves, pulleys, rollers, conveyor belts, bearings, and transfer plates.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace pneumatic equipment, including diverters, lubricators, hoses, and coils.
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and replace hydraulic equipment, including hoses, fittings, cylinders, and pumps.
Weld equipment such as handrails, conveyor supports, package handling equipment, carts, and grating as defined by the scope of work.
