We are looking for an Analyst for a very important client
In this critical role, you will be a key business partner to R&D leadership, combining financial acumen, project management rigor, and data-driven insights to optimize resource allocation and accelerate the development of next-generation products. You will play a central role in managing R&D budgets, tracking project performance, and supporting the transition toward a more structured, outcome-based investment framework.
This position is based in San Diego, CA, with the expectation of in-office collaboration. Given the strong partnership with the Japan R&D and finance teams, the role requires flexibility to work evening hours to align with Japan time zones when and as needed.
What You'll Do:
Optimize R&D Investments
· Develop robust business and financial models to evaluate the viability and ROI of R&D projects.

The ideal candidate will possess the following:
· 5-10 years of experience in Accounting or FP&A, business operations, or project management, ideally supporting R&D or technology organizations.
· Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to design and deliver clear, executive-level presentations.
· Strong system orientation, including hands-on experience with Oracle EPM, ERP, or related financial planning systems.

The Distribution Legal group is seeking a Sr. Paralegal to work in a fast-paced environment on innovative, high-profile, industry-leading content distribution matters for Disney Platform Distribution, including Internet and television distribution of Disney’s portfolio of motion picture and television titles on a linear (free, basic, pay), SVOD, ADVOD and direct-to-consumer basis (e.g., Hulu, Star, and Disney+). We’re looking for a bright, energetic, self-motivated and reliable person who can work closely with attorneys, and with other internal groups, and will exercise the highest level of ethics and discretion.
What You Will Do:
Work closely with attorneys and directly with business units on drafting, negotiating and closing license agreements:
with distribution licensees in the U.S. and Canada for linear broadcast, basic cable and pay television with accompanying video-on-demand usage rights;
for the acquisition of motion picture and television content to support the strategic distribution activities of Disney Platform Distribution on a global basis;
for the acquisition and distribution of television formats with third parties and Disney business units worldwide; and
with Disney and third-party distribution licensees in the U.S. and Canada across a wide variety of traditional and new platforms and business models, including direct-to-consumer applications and paid subscription platforms such as SVOD and ADVOD.
Provide in a clear, concise manner, advice and counsel to business and legal personnel regarding distribution issues and analysis of contractual provisions, rights and restrictions, and where necessary, interface with and seek advice from lawyers and executives from relevant internal groups (network and studio legal and business affairs, sales, technology, regulatory, antitrust counsel, labor relations, privacy, music, affiliate relations, ad sales and operations, etc.).
Provide ongoing oversight of legacy agreements, including legal issues related to distribution relationships, e.g., MFN compliance.

Work independently and manage negotiations with minimal supervision while ensuring Company’s policies, procedures, intellectual property rights and other key concepts are properly addressed.

The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $87,100.00 to $116,800.00 per year based on a 40- hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. JOB PURPOSE

The Senior Planner is responsible for establishing and maintaining disciplined project planning and controls for complex projects and programs, ensuring predictable execution through integrated schedules, baselines, and structured change control.
Sitting within the BU delivery organization, this role partners closely with Project/Program Managers and delivery leads to create high-quality plans, manage dependencies, track performance, and provide clear visibility into schedule risks and required decisions. The Senior Planner strengthens execution discipline by improving planning maturity, enabling reliable forecasting, and supporting governance cadences.
A critical part of this role is enabling disciplined resource planning and allocation, ensuring staffing assumptions, capacity constraints, and sequencing are visible early and managed through structured planning cadences.
The Senior Planner does not own client relationships, pricing approvals, or delivery outcomes. The role enables delivery success through rigorous planning, transparent reporting, and early risk identification.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Build and maintain integrated project/program schedules, including work breakdown structure (WBS), dependencies, milestones, and critical path analysis.
- Establish and manage schedule baselines, ensuring changes are controlled, documented, and reflected accurately in planning artifacts and reporting.
- Support Project/Program Managers with planning inputs for delivery governance cadence, including progress tracking, variance analysis, and schedule risk mitigation plans.

A day in the life, what you’ll be doing:

Objectives of this role
- The Buyer/Planner will be responsible for the evaluation, selection, and purchasing of all merchandise in the categories of responsibility. This candidate must have a solid understanding of the needs of the Urban Fashion customer market trends to exceed sales goals.
- The Buyer/Planner will partner with other internal corporate buying and executive management team, and its store operations and visual merchandising to execute overall strategies.
- Responsible for building, creating, and managing Urban Fashion’s merchandise assortments, categories, and business plans that align with Urban Fashion’s market and consumer trends; assortment creation includes selecting and developing merchandise by considering quality, sourcing, timing, delivery, mix, and price.
- Manage entire product lifecycle from creation, tracking of the purchase orders, samples, merchandising in store, to markdowns and discards.
- Monitor market trends and supply conditions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
- Lead sourcing of products and procurement activities for assigned categories or commodities, develop and implement procurement strategies to support business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure optimal terms and pricing, returns and chargebacks.
- Collaborate with internal key stakeholders to understand buying and planning merchandise needs and specifications.
- Ensure supplier compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Issue and manage purchase orders, contracts, and vendor agreements.
- Track and analyze data and key metrics and prepare reports on cost savings, supplier performance, and procurement activities.
- Participate in cross-functional initiatives, including cost reduction and retail-chain optimization projects.
- Analyze weekly sales, item performance, and reporting to identify opportunities and strategies to drive sales and margin
- Lead succession and successful buying of categories nd create exclusive products.
- Travel to store locations to review product mix, gather feedback, and identify opportunities to improve business.
- Attend trade shows and travel to vendor locations to grow and maintain professional relationships with external partners, as well as gain insight into new trends and opportunities.
- Partner with planning counterparts to manage the OTB and to identify opportunities in style count, sales goals, and inventory flow, well-planned and balanced inventory control for a successful outcome.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university, a bachelor’s degree in Fashion-Buying-Merchandising-Marketing Business, or a related field in Urban Fashion Buying, educational background preferred.
- At least 5 to 7+ years of experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proven ability to develop and implement strategies that drive business growth.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), Google Suite, and adaptable to learning new systems.

THE OPPORTUNITY
This role encompasses all aspects of project management, technical specification, design, analysis, installation management, equipment start-up and manufacturing. Automation/Electrical engineers support the manufacturing processes and equipment in one or several manufacturing facilities by designing, specifying, purchasing and constructing Automated/Electrical systems (hardware and software) and components. This engineer is expected to spend a fair amount of time in hands-on technical activities as well. Interaction with all levels of employees will be expected. This is sometimes accomplished through the management of contract engineering resources.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
This position includes roles as the Lead Electrical Engineer and project manager for our Aviation Tire manufacturing facility, supporting efforts to design, build, install, maintain, and modify our manufacturing equipment.
- Create initial designs, assist to define functional specifications for new machines and systems, develop estimates and budget, assure procurement of parts and systems, monitors electrical equipment fabrication, conduct vendor/contractor management, deliver complete and current technical documentation, and oversee installation and startup of projects that range from simple modifications of existing machinery to large-scale expansion projects.
- Have hands-on involvement with equipment and processes by being available to the operators and maintenance personnel and gaining detailed knowledge of the process.
- Provide technical expertise in the maintenance, modification and installation of equipment and machinery in the tire manufacturing process, including technical assistance for problem solving analysis.
- Participate in all facets of project management including: Economic justification, design, vendors/procurement, installation, start-up, qualification, machine acceptance, training for operations & maintenance, project reviews and technical documentation.
- Provide liaison between facility engineering, central quality, methods and purchasing teams, and equipment suppliers to assure good mutual system requirement understanding.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering along with demonstrated successful project management experience. Associates degree with extensive experience may be considered.
Proven electrical design skills, and the ability to deal with electrical, electronic and mechanical tire manufacturing equipment.
Minimum of 5 years industrial electrical design experience, preferably in manufacturing/industrial equipment.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Demonstrated ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision. The applicant must be able to develop positive relationships with customers.
Well organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Demonstrated solid teamwork, communication, and planning skills required. Previous project management experience or team leadership experience is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and resolve issues. Both written and verbal communication skills are essential. Ability to communicate with French counterparts on technical issues is preferred.
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality in dealing with outside contractors and equipment suppliers.
Experience with AutoCAD electrical latest version and PLC programming (i.e. Allen-Bradley) is required. Robot (Yaskawa), vision system (Keyence or Cognex), and Measurement (laser profilometer) experience is a plus.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint).

Performs advanced technical/engineering problem solving in support of power plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions. Possesses excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application and has detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.
Primary duties and accountabilities include:
- Oversee feasibility studies and design activities for new build/commercial projects
- Applies experience to ensure feasibility studies provide accurate assessments of projects and outcomes for business cases
- Coordinate with nuclear & power engineering counterparts to ensure project scope is clearly delineated and understood
