As an Aviation Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety in aircraft operations. Position Responsibilities:
Perform production installations, maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations on aircraft structures, systems, and sub-systems, including electrical and avionics, for both standard and experimental certificated aircraft.
Troubleshoot, inspect, test, repair, and service aircraft and engine systems to ensure they are flight-ready, documenting any nonconforming materials or components according to established specifications and procedures.
Conduct audits and surveillance of manufacturing and quality assurance processes, including customer/FAA coordination, configuration change verification, conformity inspections, and airworthiness inspections.
Utilize technical specifications, sketches, manuals, and FAA publications to effectively complete work assignments.
Maintain company and FAA-required records and inspection forms while ensuring a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
Plan and organize work packages to promote safe and efficient operations, meeting predetermined schedules.
Operate various information systems, including company web-based systems and Microsoft Office products, to perform assigned tasks.
Interpret and adhere to airworthiness directives, service bulletins, and other approved data.
Apply mathematical calculations to set up and use precision measuring tools for accurate measurements.
Create production aids as needed to facilitate work assignments.
Maintain necessary certifications, licenses, and permits for assigned work.
Exchange information with suppliers, customers, or company representatives to explain or demonstrate operations and tests.
Physical Demands and Potential Hazards:
Perform physical tasks that include lifting weights up to 35 lbs.
Engage in various movements such as reaching, handling, turning, twisting, lifting, lowering, climbing, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and squatting.
Work in environments that may involve contact with metals, solvents, and coolants.
Operate in proximity to moving parts and tools, sharp cutters, and potential slipping hazards.
Adapt to varying noise levels and atmospheric conditions.
Utilize personal safety gear to protect face/eyes, hands/arms, and feet while performing job duties.

Basic Qualifications:
3+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance on powered aircraft with military, airline or certificated repair station background (an A&P certificate and/or completion of A&P training at an accredited institution will count for 2 years of experience) OR with troubleshooting electrical systems or complex mechanical systems (e.g. hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy machinery, diesel, construction).
Must be willing to work any shift, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Responsibilities:

Position Summary
This position will assist with the daily preparation of the softball fields for the Summer Rec Softball program. Additional tasks will include maintenance of the sports courts, including the pickleball courts, tennis courts, basketball courts, skate park and Crystal Lake Sports park.

Responsibilities
Responsible for installation, inspection, maintenance, repair, modification, testing, and fabrication of the Reliable-designed mechanical, electromechanical, and electrical/avionics assemblies, harnessing, interconnects, and other commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) products
Conduct design for excellence (DFx) reviews to evaluate designs for cost, producibility, inspectability, consistency, adequacy, accuracy, and conformance to requirements
Collaborate with design, quality, and certification teams to embed manufacturability, compliance, and risk mitigation in all phases of product development (e.g., prototype, R&D, certification, and production)
Develop and ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, quality management system, technical bulletins, engineering orders, service bulletins, and airworthiness directives
Develop processes to ensure accurate, current, and complete documentation (installation and inspection records, logbook entries, etc.) is utilized and maintained
Lead root-cause analysis and implement timely corrective actions to maintain schedule, quality, and reliability
Ensure an adequate supply of tools, serviceable parts, components, and consumables necessary for aircraft servicing and maintenance is maintained
Oversee routine/non-routine aircraft installations, inspections, and maintenance to ensure aircraft safety and availability across multiple airframes
Basic Success Criteria
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, aerospace, systems engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience leading aircraft maintenance/modification operations
7+ years of aircraft design, manufacturing, inspection, and/or testing experience
2+ years of experience leading complex projects or programs in aerospace, autonomy, or robotics
2+ years of experience with computer-aided design (CAD) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) software, such as Altium, NX, and Teamcenter
Preferred Criteria
Holder of an FAA-accredited Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate
Prototype/R&D development or New Product Introduction (NPI) experience
Experience with industry or regulatory requirements such as AS9100, CFR 14 CFR 21.137, and/or 14 CFR Part 145
Knowledge of highly complex medium to heavy turbine-powered aircraft, their powerplants, flight and stabilization controls, pneumatic, fuel systems, electronic engine, hydraulic, and navigation systems
Maintenance and rigging experience on P&W PT6A Engines/Airframes
Previous leadership or management experience

GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides a safe and mechanically sound working environment in the distribution center. Coordinates the daily activities of the maintenance department to ensure rapid response to departmental requests for repair or service. Identifies performance indicators. Develops and communicates action plans for improvement.
DUTIES and ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Utilizes Productivity Improvement Plan process to identify areas for improvement and assists Maintenance Manager in development of a measurement system.
- May review inbound and outbound S&OP reports and assists in department planning; makes adjustments based on distribution center needs.
- Plans daily production goals for department.
- Identifies obstacles to performance through floor observations.
- Reviews daily staffing plan of department/shift with Maintenance Manager; determines proper staffing level for shift or area of responsibility based on receiving/shipping volume and departmental projects.
- Establishes work schedules based on preventative maintenance requirements.
- Conducts required sortation audits and analyzes results to determine appropriate system and/or personnel adjustments.
- Ensures that adequate training is provided for all maintenance department employees.
- In coordination with safety committee, supports safety programs to reduce employee injuries.
- Partners with Maintenance Manager and Human Resources to ensure OSHA compliance; serves a back-up contact person for governmental agencies.
- Maintains status reports on building and facility insurance documentation.
- Assists Maintenance Manager with department budget.
Qualifications
