Job Description

Product Manager, Internal Systems & Operations

Location: New York, NY, USA

Company: AROS Group

About Us

At AROS Group, a multi-material design-to-manufacture organization headquartered in New York with offices across the globe, we don’t just build products — we redefine industries. We are innovators, challengers, and builders of the future. With a global footprint and a reputation for excellence, we thrive on solving problems that others shy away from.

Now, we are building the next generation of operational infrastructure for luxury packaging — a connected suite of internal and client-facing platforms designed to transform how our teams collaborate, deliver, and scale globally.

Our group is expanding, and we’re seeking exceptional talent to help shape this next chapter.

The Role

We’re looking for a Product Manager, Internal Systems & Operations who is more than just a planner — someone who can translate complexity into structure, align teams around execution, and deliver systems that power real operational change.

This is a greenfield product role. Today, many of our operational workflows live across Excel, Salesforce, email threads, and institutional knowledge. We are consolidating these processes into a unified internal platform that will power how projects, samples, supplier coordination, and client communication operate globally.

You will own the product vision and delivery roadmap for our employee portal and the emerging client and supplier portals, working directly with technical leadership and cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and ship product increments that transform how AROS operates.

Beyond core platform development, you will also contribute to ad-hoc operational and strategic initiatives across the company. This role requires someone who is proactive, sharp, and able to think ten steps ahead — anticipating challenges, identifying opportunities, and moving with clarity and intention.

We are not looking for someone to simply manage a backlog. We are looking for someone who can help design the systems our company will run on.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Define and maintain the product roadmap for internal portals and future client and supplier-facing platforms, aligned to business priorities and phased rollout milestones.

• Translate ambiguous internal requests into structured Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) and detailed feature specifications.

• Define acceptance criteria, edge cases, and non-functional requirements — including performance, permissions, and data integrity — enabling engineering teams to ship with confidence.

Delivery & QA

• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles end-to-end: authoring test scripts, coordinating testing across business teams, logging and triaging defects, and owning release sign-off.

• Drive phased product rollouts with strong change management, including release notes, onboarding materials, training sessions, and adoption tracking.

• Partner with engineering to scope ETL migrations as legacy operational data moves from Excel and Salesforce into the new platform ecosystem.

Stakeholder & Change Management

• Serve as the primary product contact for internal users, facilitating feedback loops and managing expectations across departments.

• Own internal product documentation including training guides, SOPs, and release communications tailored to mixed technical and non-technical audiences.

• Build trust across a diverse global team by shipping reliably and communicating proactively.

Strategic & Ad-Hoc Initiatives

• Support leadership on strategic operational initiatives beyond the core product roadmap.

• Identify process inefficiencies, operational gaps, and opportunities for automation or system improvements.

• Approach complex challenges with a forward-looking mindset, anticipating dependencies, risks, and downstream impact.

Who You Are

• A Product Manager or Technical Program Manager with 1–4 years of experience, ideally in enterprise SaaS, internal platforms, or B2B product environments.

• Demonstrated ability to write clear, structured PRDs and feature specifications that engineering teams can execute without ambiguity.

• Comfortable navigating relational data models, with working knowledge of SQL.

• Familiar with JavaScript, React, and REST APIs, with the ability to read components, understand data flows, and engage credibly with engineers on scope and feasibility.

• Experience owning a product backlog and running agile workflows in tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar platforms.

• Strong written communication and documentation discipline.

• Comfortable using Excel and PowerPoint as operational tools, not just presentation tools.

Proactive, quick-thinking, and intellectually curious, with the ability to anticipate problems before they arise.

• A systems thinker who approaches challenges with a 10-steps-ahead mindset, balancing speed, precision, and long-term impact.

Nice to Have / Differentiators

• Experience prompting or integrating LLMs and building internal prototypes using AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor or GitHub Copilot.

• Experience using AI to accelerate specification writing, test generation, or data analysis workflows.

• Prior exposure to Salesforce, SAP, or similar enterprise platforms, particularly in migration or consolidation contexts.

• Familiarity with operational workflows in made-to-order, sample-driven, or client-specification B2B environments.

• Understanding of Azure, CI/CD concepts, GitHub workflows, or API fundamentals.

• Experience with Supabase or similar managed backend platforms.

• Experience guiding non-technical teams through system transitions, including training, communication planning, and adoption measurement.

• Ability to write lightweight scripts for data transformation, automation, or ETL validation.

Why AROS Group

• Shape the operational systems powering a global luxury packaging company.

• Work at the intersection of design, manufacturing, and technology in a fast-growing organization.

• Collaborate with world-class teams across New York, Europe, and Asia.

• Be part of a culture that prizes precision, execution, and innovation — no compromises.

• Competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and strong opportunities for career growth.

The Challenge

This isn’t a role for someone who wants to maintain the status quo. You will be building systems that reshape how a global company operates — defining processes, driving adoption, and solving operational complexity at scale.

We expect speed, rigor, and strategic thinking. You will need to anticipate challenges before they appear, navigate ambiguity with confidence, and deliver solutions that move the organization forward.

If you thrive on translating ambiguity into structure, aligning teams around execution, and shipping products that make organizations run better, this is your stage.
