WHAT WILL YOU DO

Support the Energy and Water Saving (EWS) Project. This role will contribute to sustainability initiatives by assisting in data analysis, project coordination, and technical research aimed at improving energy and water efficiency across operations.

• Gain hands-on experience in sustainability and resource efficiency projects.

• Exposure to industrial systems and operational improvement strategies.

Data Collection & Analysis

• Collect and analyze energy and water usage data from various systems and facilities.

• Identify inefficiencies and opportunities for conservation.

• Assist in developing visual reports and dashboards to communicate findings.

Project Coordination

• Support the implementation of energy and water saving initiatives, including audits and retrofits.

• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely execution of project tasks.

• Track project milestones and prepare regular status updates.

Technical Research

• Conduct research on emerging technologies and best practices in energy and water conservation.

• Benchmark current performance against industry standards and provide recommendations.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain organized records of project activities, findings, and recommendations.

Stakeholder Engagement

Fulfill routine infrastructure requests including virtual machine provisioning, storage allocation, and network configurations. We seek visionary scholars in the area of RF and Microwave Circuits and Systems. This position presents an exceptional opportunity for the successful candidate to lead innovation in high-frequency electronics-ranging from 5G/6G communications and IoT to specialized RF systems for spaceborne and extreme-environment applications.

The successful candidate will leverage UCF's proximity to the aerospace and defense industries to bridge the gap between academic research and the burgeoning commercial space industry. Responsibilities

As a Safety Intern, you'll be part of a team implementing and overseeing the Project Safety Program including the development of site safety policies and procedures. Description

As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at Elliott Manufacturing, you will have the opportunity to apply learned knowledge and skills while gaining valuable hands-on experience to start your career in Engineering. This internship will provide exposure to a manufacturing plant while also supporting other CentroMotion businesses remotely.

Responsibilities:

1. Establish inventory of manufacturing and quality control tooling.

2. Utilize existing Gage Control software to track tooling (if possible).

3. Establish physical storage locations for all tooling.

4. Implement 6S for tooling, so that missing tooling can be easily physically identified.

5. Establish check-in/check-out process for tooling.

6. Review QC tooling and ensure quantities of tools are appropriate for each tool type (too many/too little).

7. Look for opportunities to reduce QC calibrations for unnecessary and overabundance of tools.

8. Work with operators to create work instructions

• Student of Junior or Senior standing currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or related field
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

About the Writing and Communication Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology
A unit of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC), WCP teaches over 6,000 students a year in first-year composition, business/technical communication, research writing, and learning support. Committed to excellent teaching and faculty professional development, WCP is the winner of multiple awards in 2020, 2021 and 2022.

The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple Lecturer positions, effective August 1, 2026. Lecturers in the Writing and Communication Program teach a 3/3 in writing classes, pursue relevant research, and provide service to the Program and Institute.
