JOB SUMMARY
The Commercialization Manager is the quarterback of go-to-market and commercialization efforts across all products. This role ensures that each product release, enhancement, and new offering is positioned for success by aligning resources, driving cross-functional execution, and supporting Product Managers with commercialization tasks such as pricing, packaging, messaging, and launch readiness.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercialization Leadership
• Serve as the central point of coordination for all commercialization efforts across the product portfolio.
• Develop and manage commercialization plans, timelines, and checklists to ensure consistency and accountability across teams.
• Maintain a portfolio-level view of upcoming launches, enhancements, and market-facing changes.
Cross-Functional Orchestration
• Ensure the right teams (Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Legal, CS, Training, etc.) are aligned, resourced, and executing according to plan.
• Facilitate cross-functional working sessions, launch readiness reviews, and go/no-go decisions.
• Anticipate and remove blockers related to resourcing, prioritization, or communication gaps.
Product Manager Support
• Partner closely with Product Managers to support commercialization tasks like:
- Pricing and packaging updates
- Sales enablement needs
- Enabling professional services
- Provide templates, playbooks, and coaching to help PMs deliver consistent commercialization artifacts and outputs.
Launch Execution & Readiness
• Ensure all required materials and processes are in place for successful launch (e.g., sales enablement content, training modules, support documentation, release communications).
• Track progress against key commercialization milestones and proactively escalate risks.
• Own internal communication of what is launching, when, and why it matters.
Operational Excellence
• Continuously improve commercialization processes and rituals—intake, scoping, planning, and go-to-market workflows.
• Standardize tools, templates, and KPIs used across product lines.
• Identify opportunities to increase speed, reduce friction, and strengthen cross-team visibility.
Market & Business Alignment
• Ensure commercialization plans align with company strategy, revenue targets, market needs, and partner commitments.
• Provide input into quarterly and annual planning on commercialization capacity and readiness.
• Support forecasting and resource planning for upcoming launches.

Commercialization Manager
LOCATION: COE
SUMMARY: This role provides cross-functional execution and support that drive APC performance and optimizes our business processes between finance, plant operations, R&D, supply chain, demand & production planning.
Lead and ensure that projects meet established success criteria in a timely manner. Provide continuing technical support for existing brands. Manages tasks and activities associated with the commercialization of new products or technologies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitors status of key deliverables.
- Works with stakeholders to resolve unexpected events as necessary, while ensuring successful deliverable dates occur as scheduled.
- Interact with R&D teams, functional support and geographic managers to consider and plan for commercialization support.
- Produce weekly reporting and plans that capture upcoming milestones, events and key deliverables.
- Partner with Leadership to set the business technology agenda, closing the gap between translating the business needs into suitable technology solves.
- Ensure on-time delivery of roadmap via effective project & stakeholder management.
- Develop and deliver timely and concise training sessions with appropriate materials to ensure clear understanding of new enhancements / features / or systems for Global Commercialization.

The Synchronization Coordinator is responsible for managing placement of our artists’ and songwriters’ music in various visual media productions. Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue synchronization opportunities for our catalog of music in films, television shows, commercials, video games, and other visual media productions.

- Coordinate the clearance process for music placements, including obtaining necessary permissions and rights clearances.

About the Role
Zac is seeking his first-ever dedicated Executive Personal Assistant, someone who will sit in-office daily and serve as his operational right hand across both his professional and personal life. This is a highly dynamic, judgment-intensive role for someone who thrives in ambiguity, takes full ownership, and moves fast without cutting corners.
The company has scaled from 5 to 24 people, is navigating a major growth phase, and the CEO's time is at a premium. The EPA will be the connective tissue between Zac's work calendar, his home, and the people who depend on him including his team, his wife, and their two young children.
This role is for someone who takes deep pride in execution, anticipates needs, and finds satisfaction in making a founder's life seamlessly functional.
Key Responsibilities
EXECUTIVE & OFFICE SUPPORT
- Own and manage Zac's calendar end-to-end, syncing professional commitments with personal obligations and stakeholder availability (including his wife's schedule)
- Triage Zac's inbox (Superhuman), draft responses, create templates, and escalate only when necessary
- Act as the team-facing point of contact in Slack collect action items owed to Zac, track deliverables, and produce a daily/weekly digest
- Prepare meeting briefs, talking points, pre-reads, and post-meeting follow-ups
- Run light contract review read NDAs and agreements for anything unusual before routing to Zac or General Counsel
- Plan and coordinate quarterly offsites: 2 in SF, 1 in NY, and 1 international destination per year including hotels, travel, agendas, and team logistics
- Handle office management: pantry stocking, equipment inventory, building communications, furniture orders, and vendor coordination
- Support light HR administration: run bi-weekly payroll in Rippling, obtain state tax IDs for new remote hires, complete employment verifications, and onboard new employees into company systems
- Manage vendor documentation internally track and maintain the company's vendor review workflow and records
- Research trip logistics (e.g., who Zac should meet with in NY) listen actively, ask smart questions, and pull in relevant team members
- Support compliance training logistics and internal documentation as needed
PERSONAL & HOUSEHOLD SUPPORT
- Manage and coordinate vendor relationships for the Balboa Terrace residence.
- Manage both vehicles: service appointments, registration, insurance, and roadside issues
- Oversee the SF rental property: coordinate repairs, communicate with tenants, manage contractors
- Assist with ongoing personal errands, travel bookings, family events etc.
- Keep personal finances organized: manage credit cards to the right accounts, track receipts, and liaise with Zac's accountant when needed
- Coordinate and maintain kids’ home school tutor’s schedules
- Source and book tickets for family activities (ski team, events, travel) without overstepping wife's ownership of trip planning

Ideal Candidate
- 5-8+ years of EA/PA experience supporting a founder, CEO, or high-net-worth individual in a fast-moving environment

Work Style & Expectations
Zac's day typically runs 8am–4pm in the SF office at 44 Montgomery St, with calls starting at 8am. He is offline from 5–7pm for family time, then back online from 7–10pm. He will send Slacks and emails outside of hours responses are expected during core hours (8am–4pm) unless it's an urgent matter. He is also open to one work-from-home day per week for the right candidate.
The expectation is in-person presence whenever Zac is in the office, and continued on-site work at the office or home on days he is traveling or remote.

Strategic Thought Leadership

Who You Are
- 6–10+ years of eCommerce leadership experience
- Deep Shopify expertise (Required)
- Strong Amazon marketplace experience

- Experience working across multi-channel Wholesale and DTC ecosystems preferred

Compensation
$150,000 – $165,000 base salary
Compensation commensurate with experience and impact.

Summary /Objective
The Sourcing Product Development Manager for Apparel & Swimwear is responsible for overseeing the sourcing, development, and commercialization of new product such as swimwear, performance apparel, and technical soft goods. This role bridges design, engineering, and manufacturing to ensure products are developed on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, sourcing materials and components, optimizing cost-efficiency, and ensuring technical feasibility during development. The manager collaborates closely with design, product, production and factory teams to align on aesthetics, performance, and manufacturability while ensuring products are engineered to meet production and brand standards.
Position Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Calendar Management
- Develop and maintain seasonal product development calendars aligned with company milestones and go-to-market timelines.
- Ensure timely execution of each development phase, including sample reviews, and production readiness.
- Proactively identify and resolve schedule risks to keep projects on track.
Costing
- Manage initial cost estimates and drive cost negotiations with suppliers, with a focus on material costs.
- Partner with merchandising team to achieve margin targets without compromising quality or design intent.
- Analyze cost drivers and identify opportunities for cost optimization throughout the development cycle.
Project Management
- Lead cross-functional teams (design, development, and manufacturing) through the end-to-end product development process.
- Track multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery, budget adherence, and clear communication at all stages.
- Maintain detailed documentation of development milestones, changes, and approvals.
Quality Control / Testing
- Oversee mold and product sample evaluations for fit, function, and finish during all development stages.
- Coordinate lab and field testing(e.g., durability, wear testing) to ensure products meet performance and safety standards.
- Collaborate with quality assurance teams at factory to ensure all necessary testing is completed
Compliance Standards
- Ensure all materials, components, and finished products meet regional and global regulatory requirements
- Stay updated on industry compliance standards and work with suppliers to ensure adherence.
- Support documentation and certification processes for audits and brand sustainability goals.
- Ensure all packing and product meets global labeling requirements
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Strong understanding of mold development processes for apparel& swim product compression
- Proven ability to manage timelines, revisions, and technical feasibility during product development.
- Ability to connect product development projects to broader business goals, such as margin targets, speed-to-market, and brand positioning.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel(e.g., cost modeling, data analysis, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive); experience collaborating in cloud-based environments a plus.
- Clear and concise communicator—able to relay technical information to cross-functional teams, vendors, and factories effectively.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced, calendar-driven environments.
- Demonstrated success in working with cross-functional teams, including Design, Development, Sourcing, Production, & Merchandising.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under tight deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while fostering collaborative relationships across regions and cultures.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Apparel Design, Apparel Product Development, Technical Design, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5–8 years of experience in apparel and/or swimwear product development, sourcing, preferably within a global brand or manufacturer.
- Experience managing the end-to-end development lifecycle from concept through commercialization
- Familiarity with materials testing, quality assurance standards, and compliance protocols
- Background in managing costing, timelines, and technical specifications in a cross-functional team environment
