POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and monitoring project schedules to ensure construction projects are delivered on time and within budget. This role collaborates closely with project managers, preconstruction managers, estimators, superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate timelines, monitor progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedule Development & Planning
- Develop detailed baseline schedules using tools such as Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar scheduling software, covering all project phases from RFP/Project Launch through Substantial Completion and Final Turnover.
- Create Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and define project activities, durations, and sequencing.
- Establish logic-driven critical path (CPM) and identify schedule constraints.
- Resource load schedules with quantities, labor, and cost data when required.
- Prepare schedule narratives documenting assumptions and methodologies.
- Collaborate with project managers, preconstruction managers, field teams and estimators during both preconstruction and construction phases.
Schedule Monitoring & Control
- Conduct site visits to assess and document construction progress.
- Update schedules regularly to reflect actual progress.
- Perform critical path analysis and identify variances.
- Develop recovery schedules when delays occur.
- Perform Time Impact Analyses (TIA) to assess the effects of change orders and scope modifications.
Means & Methods
- Define construction means and methods required to achieve schedule objectives.
- Develop site logistics and Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) plans in 2D or 3D formats.
Reporting & Communication
- Prepare and distribute schedule reports, dashboards, executive summaries, and look-ahead schedules.
- Present schedule status updates to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Provide scheduling input for executive reports and owner meetings.
- Maintain documentation to support claims and delay analyses when required.
Risk Management
- Identify schedule-related risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Conduct what-if scenario analysis to evaluate alternative approaches.
- Support dispute resolution efforts through detailed time impact analysis.
Collaboration
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure schedule alignment.
- Support resource planning and labor forecasting efforts.
- Ensure alignment between field operations and master project schedules.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field (preferred).
Experience
- 3 to 7+ years of experience in construction scheduling or project controls preferably within the US, South Florida or the Caribbean.
- Experience on commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or residential projects.
Technical Skills
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing means and methods.
- Solid knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
- Familiarity with cost control, earned value management (EVM) principles
- Ability to use construction resources data to validate productivity rates and activity durations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel), Power BI, Bluebeam is a must.
- Working knowledge of (or willingness to learn) BIM, Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, cmBuilder and Synchro 4D.
- Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.

JOB SUMMARY
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team at Kennedy Richter Construction. In this role, you will be the project's main point of responsibility and accountability as it relates to the overall success of the project(s) to uphold KRCs values (Creativity/Communication/Quality), standards, and procedures from pre-construction planning through project completion.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Planning:
- Review construction documents, contracts, and estimates after contract award.
- Develop effective site logistics and project phasing with the team.
- Create and maintain the CPM schedule based on project scope and logistics.
- Manage submittal registry and ensure alignment with project timelines, including long lead items and materials.

- Monitor and maintain an organized project budget, cost coding invoices weekly.
- Regularly forecast against the budget, identifying areas of concern.
- Prepare and distribute monthly Pay Apps with updated schedule and cost backups.
Change Management:
- Manage the RFI Log and document scope changes in real-time.
- Issue and track Potential Change Orders (PCOs) to the A/E/Owner.
- Document schedule impacts from changes and manage internal changes with subcontractors.
Execution:
- Review plans and project manuals with the field team before work begins.
- Conduct pre-installation meetings with A/E, subcontractors, and manufacturers for key scopes.
- Address field reports and close out deficiencies.
- Ensure materials are procured and onsite as per schedule and hold the field team accountable to the project plan.
Quality & Safety:
- Develop and implement quality control inspections and checklists.
- Monitor QC inspection logs and ensure the field team follows quality and safety standards.
- Perform periodic field walks to uphold quality and safety.
Closeout:
- Compile and submit all necessary project closeout documents.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred).
- Experience: 5 years of experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Knowledge: Strong knowledge of construction methods, processes, and materials. In-depth understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of project management software (Procore) and scheduling tools (Microsoft Project). Familiarity with accounting software (Sage Intacct). Job PurposeAs an Engineer within Seat and Package Development Department you are expected to provide logical designs as part of a project team supporting model developments. The International Transportation Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and managing the entire import process, from initial order placement to final delivery. This role requires a strong understanding of international trade regulations, customs procedures, and logistics operations. The Senior Import Coordinator will collaborate closely with suppliers, freight forwarders, production and sales teams to ensure timely and efficient import processes.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and coordinate the transportation of imported goods, including ocean, air, or land transportation.
- Develop and implement import strategies, including transportation planning and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely delivery and transportation of goods.
- Track shipments from origin to destination, ensuring timely delivery and addressing any potential delays or issues.
- Identify opportunities to optimize shipping costs and improve efficiency through route optimization and consolidation.
- Develop shipping plans to balance the workload for distribution for larger programs while still meeting customer needs.
- Assess and mitigate potential risks, such as supply chain disruptions, and unforeseen circumstances.
- Lead and mentor junior import coordinators, providing guidance and support.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in international logistics or related field.
- Strong understanding of international transportation and logistics
- Knowledge of different modes of transportation (e.g., ocean, air, rail, truck)
- Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication
- Quick critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented and organized with and excellent time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience with Microsoft Office with a focus on MS Excel
- Experience with SAP or some other ERP software
Annual salary starting at $65,000.
