entry level Java Full stack developer/AI engineer

CS/IT Graduates or About to be Grads.

Get Hired by taking action.

If you just graduated (or you're about to) and the job search is already feeling confusing, you're not imagining it.

A degree proves you can learn—but employers hire for job readiness: projects that look like real work, current tech stacks, interview confidence, and the ability to contribute on day one.

That's why many new grads send hundreds of applications and still hear nothing back.

It's not because you're "not smart enough.” It's because most entry-level pipelines are crowded, and hiring teams filter heavily for candidates who look production-ready.

We are actively considering candidates for entry-level software engineering and data roles, especially Java full stack, Java/Python development, DevOps automation, data analytics, data engineering, data science, and ML/AI—full-time opportunities aligned to client needs.

Our core emphasis remains Java/Full Stack/DevOps and Data/Analytics/Engineering/ML.

SynergisticIT focuses on two high-demand lanes: Java / Full Stack / DevOps and Data (Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Data Scientist) + ML/AI—so you don't graduate with scattered skills, you graduate with an employable stack.

SynergisticIT since 2010, has helped candidates land full-time roles at major organizations (examples often cited include Google, Apple, PayPal, Visa, Western Union, Wells Fargo, Client, Banking, Wayfair, Client, Client, and more) with offers commonly in the $95k–$154k range depending on role and skill depth.

For a new grad, the bigger message isn't the number—it's that results require a structured pathway, not random applications.

Here's a realistic way to think about your advantage as a fresh graduate: you're early enough to build the right foundation before bad habits set in.

If you master fundamentals—coding, debugging, data structures, system thinking—and then layer modern tools on top (frameworks, cloud, CI/CD, analytics stacks), you become the kind of "entry-level” candidate who actually feels like a safe hire.

What roles are companies hiring for right now? A typical market demand pattern is clear: organizations still need entry-level software programmers, Java full stack developers, Python/Java developers, DevOps-focused engineers, and on the data side data analysts, BI analysts, data engineers, data scientists, and machine learning engineers.

The strongest candidates aren't "tool collectors”—they're people who can show end-to-end capability: build an API, connect a database, deploy a service, analyze data, explain results, and handle interviews calmly.

Why fresh grads get stuck— Fresh grads often struggle for four predictable reasons: Resume doesn't match job keywords (ATS filters you out).

Projects look like school assignments (not production-aligned).

Interview skills are undertrained (DSA, system design, SQL, behavioral).

No structured pipeline (random applying without feedback loops).

A job-placement-first approach addresses these systematically: build the right portfolio, practice the right interview questions, align your tech stack to roles, and keep improving until the market says "yes.” Who this path fits best If you're a recent graduate, you'll likely fit if you match any of these: New grads in CS, Engineering, Math, or Statistics with limited job experience Students finishing Bachelor's or Master's programs who need a real hiring plan Candidates who apply consistently but don't get callbacks Candidates who reach interviews but struggle to close International students on F-1/OPT who need a job plan for STEM extension/H-1B timing Graduates with strong academics but thin practical experience SynergisticIT helps STEM extension and work authorization pathways, and for candidates who need long-term stability, support related to H-1B and green card processes as part of employer-side realities.

If you're tired of guessing, stop treating your job search like a lottery.

Treat it like a project with milestones: skills → portfolio → interview readiness → targeted applications → scheduled interviews → offer.

If you want to explore the program directly, here are the key links: Event videos (OCW, JavaOne, Gartner): USA Today feature Contact & get a roadmap: Please read our blogs Why do Tech Companies not Hire recent Computer Science Graduates | SynergisticIT What Recruiters Look for in Junior Developers | SynergisticIT Software engineering or Data Science as a career? How OPT Students Can Land Tech Jobs – SynergisticIT Bottom line for fresh grads: Your degree is the starting line, not the finish line.

If you want to get hired faster, you don't need "more random courses.” You need a guided, job-focused path and the right people around you.

In tech, it's not just what you learn—it's how you learn and who you build with that decides how far you go.

Please note: Resume databases are shared with clients and interested clients will reach out directly if they find a qualified candidate for their req.

If you want to explore, here are the key links: Event videos (OCW, JavaOne, Gartner): USA Today feature Contact & get a roadmap: Please read our blogs Why do Tech Companies not Hire recent Computer Science Graduates | SynergisticIT What Recruiters Look for in Junior Developers | SynergisticIT Software engineering or Data Science as a career? How OPT Students Can Land Tech Jobs – SynergisticIT Bottom line for fresh grads: Your degree is the starting line, not the finish line.

If you want to get hired faster, you don't need "more random courses.” You need a guided, job-focused path and the right people around you.

In tech, it's not just what you learn—it's how you learn and who you build with that decides how far you go.

MRO Purchaser

Salary not disclosed
Summerville, SC 1 day ago

Job Title: MRO Purchaser (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations Buyer)

Department: Supply Chain

Reports to: Supply Chain Director

Location: Hounen Solar America Inc., Summerville, South Carolina

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary Hounen Solar America Inc. is a leading U.S.-based manufacturer of high-efficiency photovoltaic solar modules, with state-of-the-art production facilities in South Carolina. As a key player in America's growing domestic solar industry, we produce reliable, high-performance modules for residential, commercial & industrial (C&I), and utility-scale applications.

We are seeking a dedicated MRO Purchaser to join our supply chain team. This role focuses on the procurement of Maintenance, Repair, and Operations (MRO) materials, supplies, equipment, and services (e.g., spare parts for production machinery, tools, consumables, lubricants, PPE, facility maintenance items, and third-party services). The position ensures uninterrupted facility and equipment operations, minimizes downtime in our high-volume manufacturing environment, controls costs, optimizes inventory for indirect items, and supports supply chain resilience in the fast-evolving U.S. solar market.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Review and process purchase requisitions for MRO items and services; prepare requests for quotes (RFQs), evaluate supplier proposals based on quality, delivery, cost, and reliability; place purchase orders and manage the full procurement cycle from requisition to receipt and payment.
  2. Source and procure a wide range of MRO categories critical to solar module manufacturing, including mechanical/electrical spare parts (e.g., bearings, motors, sensors, filters), tools, consumables (e.g., adhesives, cleaners, lubricants), safety/PPE items, facility supplies, and maintenance/repair services, while ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
  3. Monitor supplier performance, track deliveries, maintain shortage/delay reports, and proactively resolve issues (e.g., expediting urgent orders, managing returns, addressing quality concerns) to prevent production downtime and support reliable operations.
  4. Plan and manage MRO inventory effectively: forecast usage based on historical consumption, maintenance schedules, equipment reliability data, and production plans; set and maintain optimal inventory parameters (min/max levels, reorder points, safety stock, economic order quantities); track inventory turnover and aging; identify slow-moving, excess, or obsolete items; and recommend action plans (e.g., disposal, consolidation, alternative sourcing, or consumption promotion) to minimize working capital while avoiding stockouts of critical spares.
  5. Lead the development and implementation of structured MRO procurement processes, including standardization of requisition workflows, supplier catalog management, approval hierarchies, and best practices for indirect spend control, to improve efficiency, traceability, and compliance across the organization.
  6. Ensure strong internal alignment by collaborating closely with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Warehouse, Production, Facilities, and other stakeholders to understand needs, prioritize critical spares/services, resolve discrepancies, and align MRO strategies with overall operational goals.
  7. Prepare and present regular reports on MRO spend, supplier on-time delivery, cost savings, inventory levels and health, planned vs. actual usage, and potential risks; contribute MRO insights to cross-functional meetings, including maintenance planning and S&OP processes.
  8. Support supplier development, cost reduction initiatives (e.g., consolidation, negotiations, blanket orders), and risk mitigation strategies (e.g., dual sourcing for critical spares) to align with Hounen Solar's goals of operational efficiency, high reliability, and cost-competitive domestic manufacturing.

Qualifications & Requirements Education: Associate's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in MRO purchasing, indirect procurement, or buyer roles in a manufacturing environment;
  • Experience in solar/PV, electronics, semiconductor, heavy manufacturing, or similar high-tech/high-volume industries is highly preferred (familiarity with manufacturing equipment spares, consumables, and maintenance needs is a strong advantage).

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, or similar) for procurement, inventory management, and reporting;
  • Solid understanding of purchasing processes, supplier management, and inventory planning/control for indirect/MRO items;
  • Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, data analysis); experience with Power BI or similar reporting tools is a plus;
  • Familiarity with e-procurement tools, catalog management, or vendor-managed inventory (VMI) programs is advantageous.

Soft Skills:

  • High sense of urgency, strong problem-solving ability, and capability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure manufacturing setting;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional and cross-cultural collaboration;
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive with strong analytical and forecasting abilities;
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy to prevent operational disruptions.

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work occasional overtime during peak maintenance periods, urgent repairs, or critical situations.

Marketing Lead
✦ New
Salary not disclosed
Indianapolis, IN 1 day ago

Company Description

Gold Hinge is a women's athleisure brand built on the belief that what you wear should move with your life, not against it. We design elevated, versatile pieces for real women who refuse to choose between style and function. Our customers are loyal, our community is growing, and our brand has a distinct point of view. We are a small, lean team that operates with urgency and high standards. We own our outcomes. We assume positive intent. We are customer-obsessed. We understand that short-term discomfort leads to growth, and we do not wait for perfect conditions to move.

The Role

We are hiring a Marketing Lead who will own the marketing strategy at Gold Hinge and execute alongside the team. This is a player-coach role. You will do the work, develop the people around you, and raise the bar on everything that goes out the door.

The brand vision comes from our CEO. Your job is to absorb that vision, build the brand direction and creative standards, and translate it all into a marketing strategy the team executes. You are also the quality filter on the team's creative output. You do not need to be the one designing, but you need to know whether the work is right or not.

Success in this role is the team meeting all of their marketing KPIs and hitting performance goals that are tied to revenue growth.

We Are Looking for You If:

  • You have sharp brand instincts and creative taste. You can absorb a founder's vision for the brand and then build the detailed brand identity, guidelines, and creative direction on your own. You understand the customer. You capture what the founder means without needing every detail spelled out.
  • You have a trained eye for creative quality. You can look at an Instagram story, an email layout, a product photo, or a campaign concept and immediately know if it is on brand or off. You catch what is wrong and you coach the team on how to fix it.
  • You have built integrated marketing strategies that drove real business outcomes, not just impressions and engagement metrics. Revenue, margin, and customer lifetime value are how you keep score.
  • You can do the work and teach the work. You get into the details, you execute, and you bring people along with you so they get better over time.
  • You have experience developing people. You enjoy coaching team members, building their skills, and watching them grow into owning their areas with confidence.
  • You have collaborated with external agency partners and know how to work alongside specialists. You can align on strategy, communicate clearly, and maintain a productive partnership that gets results for both sides.
  • You connect brand, performance marketing, product launches, web, email, and community into one cohesive plan. You see how the pieces fit together and you make sure the team does too.
  • You use data to make decisions. You set benchmarks. You identify what is underperforming and you act on it. You do not wait to be told something is broken.
  • You are resourceful. When something needs to get done and there is no playbook, you figure it out.
  • You take ownership of outcomes, not tasks. You know the difference between being busy and being effective.
  • You approach your work with a positive attitude, assume the best in others, and receive feedback as an opportunity to improve.

What You Will Own

  • The integrated marketing strategy across paid, organic, lifecycle, web, email, content, events, and PR, and the hands-on execution needed to bring it to life alongside the team.
  • Brand translation: taking the CEO's vision and building the brand book, creative guidelines, and visual standards that the team and agency partners use to stay aligned.
  • Creative quality control across the team's output, reviewing and approving design, content, and campaign assets to ensure everything meets brand standards. Elevating the team's creative judgment so it becomes their standard, not just yours.
  • Day-to-day strategic leadership of the internal marketing team, coaching channel owners on priorities, messaging, and execution while building their capabilities.
  • The working relationship with external agency partners, providing clear strategic direction, ensuring alignment with the internal team, and collaborating on performance goals.
  • Go-to-market strategies for product launches, building launch plans and coordinating execution across all channels, including doing the work yourself where needed.
  • Performance monitoring across the full customer journey, from acquisition through retention and lifetime value, identifying gaps and opportunities and taking action.
  • Strategic oversight of brand partnerships, influencer programs, events, and community marketing to ensure alignment with brand standards and business goals.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing roles spanning brand, growth, and performance with significant experience in fashion, beauty, or consumer lifestyle brands.
  • Strong understanding of paid media, lifecycle marketing, customer lifecycle, web and email marketing, brand building, and audience engagement across paid, owned, and earned channels.
  • Strong analytical skills paired with creative judgment. You are comfortable with data and you have a point of view on brand.
  • Excellent communication skills. You can align a team, partner with agencies, and present a clear strategy to senior leadership.
  • Experience in DTC and e-commerce is a strong plus. Candidates with a background in e-commerce will have a natural advantage in understanding our metrics, channels, and customer journey.

Company Benefits

This is a full-time, in-person role based in Indianapolis, IN. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, along with optional supplemental insurance policies. Employees also receive paid time off (PTO), access to an IRA retirement plan, participation in our clothing discount program, and more.

To apply, send your resume and a brief note on why you believe you are the right person for this role. We are not interested in cover letters that could apply to any company. Tell us specifically what you would bring to Gold Hinge.
