JOB PURPOSE:

The Restaurant Manager works by leading the food runners and bussers, ensuring dining room flow, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction. They help maintain operational excellence and reinforce company values at every touchpoint.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify gaps, improve workflows, and suggest improvements without waiting for direction.

Oversee the development of executive-ready deliverables (dashboards, trackers, presentations, project plans), ensuring clarity, structure, and visual polish in every output.

Be the bridge between global HQ and international teams, ensuring on time information sharing, meeting facilitation, and on actions.

Summarize complex updates into clear insights and next steps, presenting leadership or regional leads with resulting questions or action items so that both teams can accelerate their path forward.

In partnership with team leadership, introduce global workflows in regions to integrate regional teams into the global organization further, facilitating process implementation and roadshows to present them.

Automatic Assembly, Set Up & Operate is responsible for setting up and operating, changeovers, adjusting assembly line to assemble Automotive Timing Chain and Components, following established work standards. The machine operator using statistical quality control methods maintains the quality of all components and the timing chain. Changeovers and adjustments are exacting, but not difficult. Work to specifications, schedules, orders, and general instructions of the department group leader or supervisor, as defined in the work standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities : The essential duties and responsibilities of this job are included but not limited to this job description - other tasks may be assigned and expected to be performed.

  • Perform preventive maintenance inspection before the start of each shift as outlined on the Preventive Maintenance Check Sheet. Apply oil or grease to specified areas. Confirm the operability of all detectors.
  • The ability to perform a more comprehensive PM on the machines including but not limited to oil changes.
  • Basic troubleshooting of chain assembly equipment to understand the alarm messages, identify what this issue is and how to correct the issue.
  • The assembly line consists of the following machines/operations: roller link assembly, chain assembly, riveting, pre-stressing, articulation checking, center distance measuring, automatic cutting, and endless operation, washing, final inspection, and packing.
  • Adhere to work standards. Responsible for maintaining production schedules, quality control records, chain assembly records, shipping charge numbers, and the traceability records for each charge of chain and referring any unusual problems to the departmental supervisor.
  • Prepare test samples for quality control per work standard. Record production and any other data required utilizing various forms as directed.
  • Utilize a machine-monitoring system to record downtime.
  • Detect faulty operation or defective material and report these and other unusual conditions to the group leader or supervisor.
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow standard safety regulations.
  • Perform other similar and associated duties as required or directed.

Contributes to the DON strategic plan and annual goals and is accountable for the implementation and attainment of these goals within the defined areas of responsibility. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Formulates implements and interprets the philosophy objectives strategic plan goals standards of practice policies and procedures for the division of nursing. Assumes leadership for the planning development execution day-to-day operations and ongoing evaluation of patient care services within the assigned clinical areas/departments according to MedStar Health/entity mission vision and SPIRIT Values and Nursing's philosophy strategic plan and annual goals.
  • Plans directs monitors and evaluates the nursing and patient care delivery systems to ensure the care performed exemplifies the Professional Nursing Practice Model; promotes continuous consistent efficient and accountable delivery of patient/family care; and adheres to the State Nursing Practice Act regulatory ethical and accreditation standards and organizational/departmental policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrates responsibility for fiscal planning/financial management budget-related operational issues and oversight through advocacy budget development and allocation of resources.   • Ensures that Magnet Recognition/Pathway to Excellence program structure and processes are implemented and maintained. Promotes and/or participates in evidence-based practice research activities performance improvement taskforces and collaborative governance councils. Serves as an agent of change assisting associates and other leaders in understanding the importance necessity impact and process of change and change management.
  • Develops and implements recruitment and retention strategies. Participates in workforce/human resources planning management and employment decisions directly or through delegation to clinical managers/patient care directors/unit-based nurse leaders. Key activities include but not limited to interviewing hiring scheduling evaluating and terminating associates.   • Directs the activities of professional and support personnel within assigned area(s).   • Determines current and future supply and demand of professional nurses and support/care associates to meet the needs of nursing and patient care delivery. Supports the design and implementation of new programs such as training and education programs to ensure the highest quality care delivery and customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with competency-based practice.
  • Participates in hospital/entity and system-wide collaborative committees task forces interdisciplinary forums quality and performance and service improvement teams. Chairs or co-chairs key action teams charged with the design and implementation of initiatives such as system nursing annual goals evidence-based guidelines standards of care or expansions of services or clinical programs.
  • Promotes a public image of excellence and professional nursing through marketing activities communication presentations and publications. Represents the Division of Nursing at professional organizations academic partners community outreach programs and as a member of local/regional or national committees.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and developments in the fields of nursing and health care through a variety of professional activities including but not limited to reading the appropriate literature and attending related seminars and conferences. Demonstrates accountability for own professional development and advancement.

Minimal Qualifications
Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required
  • Master's degree in Nursing or health related field required
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing Leadership or Health Services Administration preferred
  • Must be from a nationally accredited program

Experience

  • 5-7 years of progressively responsible leadership roles in nursing including director of nursing (or equivalent) or above experience required

Licenses and Certifications

  • RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure in the District of Columbia required
  • Certification in Nursing Administration from a nationally recognized nursing organization such as NEA-BC or CENP within 1 Year required
