Perform tasks related to preventative maintenance, mechanical machine repairs, inspection and testing of equipment, building maintenance and specific projects. Perform all jobs safely, efficiently and accurately to maintain and improve the performance of the entire plant in the areas of Safety, Quality, Reliability (SQR) and our Customer 1st strategy. Provide leadership that embodies our 7 Manufacturing High Performance Work System principles. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Ability to work in a refrigerated environment. Production rooms are kept at a constant 32 degrees (and below in certain areas). Ability to withstand cold storage temps for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities for Candidates

  • Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment. physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems in the facility
  • Set up and use machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts
  • Troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facility equipment to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness
  • Complete assigned work orders and unplanned/emergency tasks as required
  • Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Utilize maintenance systems as necessary to complete daily, weekly, monthly duties
  • Operate material handling equipment safely

  • Provide support to team in the predictive and preventative maintenance program

JOB SUMMARY

The overall objective and purpose of the Security Supervisor are to assist the Security Manager to manage the security department staff as well as guard industrial or commercial property against fire, theft, vandalism, and illegal entry by performing the following duties.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in machine design and automation engineering.
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and installing machines in high-volume manufacturing environments.


Technical Expertise

  • SolidWorks proficiency for machine and fixture design.
  • Strong knowledge of automation technologies: robotics, PLC programming, vision systems, conveyors, and material handling.
  • Experience with supplier management and working with external integrators.
  • Understanding of system design, defect analysis, and process optimization.
  • Familiarity with SPC, Six Sigma, and DoE methodologies for data-driven improvements.
  • Ability to troubleshoot automation and mechanical issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.


Preferred

  • Experience designing full production lines.

This role is vital in ensuring efficient operations, maintaining strict food safety and quality standards, and leading a team of workers to meet production and harvesting goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, hands-on experience with production equipment, and a passion for leading teams in a fast-paced agricultural manufacturing environment. As a key leader, you will drive continuous improvement initiatives and help ensure our mushrooms meet the quality expectations of retail and distribution partners.
Duties
  • Supervise daily production and harvesting activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule to meet orders from grocery and distribution partners
  • Log data into digital systems as well as read, monitor, and react to equipment signals
  • Coordinate with team members to optimize workflow across harvesting, packaging, and processing stations
  • Operate and oversee the use of tractors, mixers, power tools, hand tools, and other production equipment safely and effectively
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential safety hazards
