We are seeking a Contractor to support our dynamic Manufacturing team in the production of TCR-T, CAR-T, and allogeneic cell therapy investigational products. This role will ensure successful manufacture and release of cell therapy products by following established processes in full compliance with cGMP. This is a 90 day contingent assignment, with the possibility of extension based on project needs, performance, and budget availability.

Responsibilities:

• Using general application of principles, support activities to ensure GMP readiness for clinical manufacturing, including but not limited to equipment procurement, installation and qualification, facility qualification, and technology transfer.

• Perform operational tasks within a cleanroom environment in a manner consistent with safety policies, quality systems, and cGMP requirements.

• Assist in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other documents for manufacturing processes.

• Set up manufacturing areas and equipment, including complex automated cell processing equipment.

• Follow all cleaning and gowning procedures for the facility.

  • Calendar Management: First point of contact for all calendar invites and seamlessly handle scheduling for a mix of personal and professional appointments prioritizing, negotiating, rescheduling, and streamlining meetings to maximize efficiency.
  • Ongoing Meeting Coordination & New Outreaches: Set up meetings with team members, reports, and external partners, ensuring all prep materials are ready and follow-ups are tracked.
  • Office Management: We have a small office on the East Side of Austin - you will be responsible for coordinating service workers and holding them accountable. You will have your own office, and coordinate lunch - we focus on healthy eating. Most times this just means getting folks lunch order for the day - 4 folks total usually work out of the Austin office.
  • Personal Errands & Task Management: Assist with personal errands and arrangements, including travel coordination, dinner reservations, gifts, thank you cards, and coordinating family or personal events as needed.
  • Project Coordination: Track key initiatives, follow up on deadlines, and ensure I'm making progress - keeping me updated and aligned.
  • Document Preparation & Research: Prepare presentation materials, reports, and content. Conduct research or gather insights for upcoming projects or strategic decisions.
  • Gatekeeper & Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact, maintaining professionalism while filtering communications and prioritizing engagements.
  • Travel & Local Event Planning: Organize both domestic and international travel (not much international for now), including flights, accommodations, itineraries, and contingency planning - sometimes for other leads as well. Assist with organizing and running small local events when partners, employees, and or customers come into town.

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

  • Austin-based or willing to re-locate. While I can be flexible at times, this is most definitely an in-person role.
  • Very Strong written and verbal communication skills - it would help if you have a penchant for reading - at times I will be giving you a lot to read / research.
  • Tech-savvy with deep experience in Microsoft Office, namely Outlook scheduling tools - have some must have tools you want me to use? Awesome, bring those ideas to the table. Bonus if you’ve worked with GAI, and tools like Monday & Salesforce.
  • Discreet and Trustworthy, understanding the importance of confidentiality with both personal and business-related matters. Everything we do must be in confidence and are not subjects for stories to share with family and friends.

What You’ll Drive


Project Leadership


  • Lead due diligence and campus/master planning initiatives
  • Oversee engineering firms and GCs across all phases
  • Provide constructability input on electrical & mechanical systems

Position Overview

We are seeking Automation Technicians with hands-on experience supporting automated manufacturing, robotics, or warehouse automation environments. This role is critical to maintaining continuous system operation and minimizing downtime across highly automated equipment and production systems.


The ideal candidate is comfortable troubleshooting complex electromechanical systems, and performing both reactive and preventive maintenance in a fast-paced, high-automation setting.


What You’ll Be Doing

  • Maintain continuous operation of automated, robotic, and material handling systems by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying components
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems and return equipment to service quickly and safely
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on robotic systems and process support equipment
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical diagrams, and complex automated system drawings
  • Work with PLC-controlled equipment and assist in automation system diagnostics
  • Identify machine malfunctions, isolate root causes, and implement cost-effective repairs
  • Perform equipment calibrations, re-qualifications, and system validations per schedule
  • Assist engineers and automation teams with equipment installation, removal, and system qualification
  • Support corrective action reports and process improvement initiatives
  • Disassemble equipment, inspect components for defects, and repair or replace parts as needed
  • Support both hardware and, at higher levels, limited software maintenance activities

Required Experience and Skills

  • Background in automated manufacturing, robotics, material handling systems, or automated warehouse environments
  • Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with PLC-controlled equipment is a plus
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance experience in high-volume or automated settings
  • Solid computer and documentation skills

Technical Experience Preferred

  • Automation, robotics, or conveyor/material handling systems
  • Electronic assembly and troubleshooting (schematics, PCB loading, mechanical assembly)
  • Cable and harness work (crimping, soldering, connector assembly, cable prep)
  • Testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and cable/harness testers
  • Automated machine operations (surface mount, component insertion, wave soldering)
  • Mechanical and electrical tools including alignment tools, measuring tools, taps & dies, and power/air tools
