Civil Clothing Inc. is seeking a Product Development Coordinator to support the end-to-end development of Darc Sport collections, partnering with our Torrance-based team to ensure product moves efficiently from concept through production. In this role, you’ll help bring designs to life by coordinating sample development, maintaining accurate product documentation, tracking WIP and samples, and supporting cross-functional teams throughout the development cycle.

What You’ll Do
Product Development Coordination
- Support the end-to-end product development process by coordinating samples, materials, and documentation across multiple collections and seasonal drops.
- Track incoming samples including protos, fit samples, and development materials, ensuring they are labeled, organized, and accurately logged.
- Assist with sourcing and organizing development materials such as fabrics, lab dips, strike-offs, and trims.
- Maintain accurate tech packs and update documentation as changes occur throughout the development cycle.
Sample Tracking & Documentation
- Maintain weekly WIP reports and development trackers to ensure accurate visibility for cross-functional teams.
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, line lists, and development reports to support product tracking and planning.
- Submit clear and organized comments to vendors following sample reviews and fittings.
Vendor & Factory Communication
- Communicate daily with overseas vendors and sourcing partners regarding development progress, sample status, delivery timelines, and cost considerations.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Production, Planning, and Sales teams to support smooth product development and alignment across departments.

Position Objective:
The Product Development Manager role serves as a link between Design, Production, External Vendors/Mill and Sales/Merchandising. Each season, it is the Product Development Manager’s role to ensure sample yardage development is in line with our cost targets, timeline and brand material needs. Ideal candidate should have a strong sense of apparel construction, material sourcing and cost and clear understanding of development to production calendars. Must have great organizational skills and attention to detail. The Product Development Manager executes and communicates to suppliers/vendors our fabrication needs against the design color palette. Ownership of the fabric sample yardage request, material data sheet management, and communication of our company policies related to fabric.
Responsibilities:
- Manage fabric sample yardage WIP reports daily and keep relevant teams informed of any changes.
- Execute, update and manage the communication of all new fabric and color mini batch inquiries and distribute seasonal color palette.
- Follow through communication with supplier/vendors and overseas office on materials adopted for development (such as sample yardage guidelines, fabric detail sheets, traceability and pattern copyrights).
- Work with design to populate seasonal fabric cards for design boards.
- Distribute confirmed seasonal color palettes internally, overseas office and external supply chains.
- Review all sample yardage cuttings received against color standards. Request lab-dips on any colors not executed correctly on initial sample yardage.
- Work with VP of Fabric to ensure design team has proper fabrics for the season.
- Review all invoices related to sample yardage development at the end of each season.
- PD organization: This includes but is not limited to maintaining sample yardage seasonal binders and boards, tracking and logging in sample yardage references and managing incoming/outgoing color palette distribution.

THE PURPOSE:
The Product Development Manager, Denim is responsible for leading the development and production strategy for our denim categories while managing key relationships with finished product suppliers and agents. The Research Development Manager provides specialized support to faculty for the development of competitive research proposals. Reporting to the Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development, with a dotted line reporting to the Chief Hospital Executive (CHE), the Executive Director, Development, Riverview Medical Center functions as the lead development officer for the general and active management of the affairs of the hospital foundation. Responsibilities include working collaboratively with the CHE to ensure the development and execution of approved fundraising plans and a comprehensive, integrated fundraising program, as well as monitoring of financial assets and fund allocation, in consultation with the hospital foundation Board and HMH Foundation Operations. The Executive Director provides leadership to the board to motivate and execute a comprehensive, compelling and successful fundraising plan.
Responsibilties:A day in the life of a Executive Director, Development, Riverview Medical Center at Hackensack Meridian Health includes:
- In collaboration with the CHE and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development, manage the affairs of the hospital foundation, including but not limited to: Developing, executing and monitoring a comprehensive development program; setting and achieving goals; legal, financial and general management; Board management and trustee recruitment.
- Responsible for setting realistic, challenging goals and directing major gift activity aimed at meeting those goals within budget.
- Develop and maintain senior level communication with CHE, Board of Trustees and Senior Vice President of Healthcare Development to align priorities, goals and strategies in the creation and implementation of a comprehensive development program for the hospital. Maintain high visibility with and participate in management groups and maintain a regular physical presence at the medical center. Ensure that fund raising strategies are consistent with hospital and network goals and work closely with leaders on collaborative projects.
- Manage a portfolio of principal and major gift donors and prospects. Create and execute cultivation, solicitation and stewardship strategies for donors and prospects. Work closely with affiliated foundations to ensure appropriate solicitation and minimal duplication in crossover catchment areas.
- Provide leadership and support to the hospital foundation Board of Trustees. Recruit and orient new trustees, prepare annual budgets and plans, report regularly to board on progress against goals, motivate Board effectiveness and ensure the effective involvement of trustees with all hospital foundation activities. Effectively articulate strategy to the board, motivate trustees and direct board activities necessary to achieve results.
- Supervise and direct the activities of the hospital foundation staff, helping to set and monitor goals, manage prospects and close gifts.
- Oversee the coordination of activities with planned giving, annual fund, grants and strategic events departments for the successful implementation of related programs and achievement of goals in these areas.
- Engage board members and friends to host awareness building and networking forums. Recruit hosts for and coordinate appropriate cultivation gatherings of prospects at various educational, social and hospitality events. Manage cultivation events and internal constituency giving subcommittees and oversee management.
- Collaborate effectively as part of the hospital's leadership team to ensure that the hospital's philanthropy objectives are met through developing important relationships with physicians, nurses and staff to promote a culture of philanthropy and grateful patient prospect pipeline.
- Work collaboratively with physicians and helps to engage grateful patients in fundraising for the hospital. Must maintain patient confidentiality.
- Serve as needed on an on-call basis (including nights and weekends) for the Friends of the Foundation (FOF) program. Act as a liaison between program members, the Foundation, and clinicians and administrators, navigating the health care system on behalf of FOF program members, nurturing donor relationships, and providing continuity of a consistently high level of service. Express genuine compassion and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- If applicable, participate in auxiliary meetings and events to help achieve compliance and to provide funding information, as well as secure auxiliary funding.
- Other duties and/or projects as assigned.
- Adheres to HMH Organizational competencies and standards of behavior.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- Ten or more years of professional experience in the development field.
- Demonstrated success with major gifts and capital campaigns.
- Established track record closing six- and seven-figure gifts independently.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Highly functional with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Highly articulate and professional with strong oral and written communication skills.
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred:
- Experience managing legal, financial, and general management responsibilities for a not-for-profit organization.
- Masters degree or specialized certification.
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE).
- Experience in a healthcare environment, preferably a hospital system.
- Experience working with Raiser's Edge and/or other fundraising/CRM management software.

Position Overview
YBI is seeking a highly motivated Technical Fellow of Research and Business Development to support YBI’s advanced manufacturing and additive manufacturing initiatives, with a primary focus on supporting the activities of the Youngstown Innovation Hub for Defense and Aerospace.
This position will report directly to YBI while playing a key role in advancing the Innovation Hub’s mission to accelerate additive and advanced manufacturing technologies for defense, aerospace, and industrial applications. The role bridges applied research, federal program development, regional supply-chain engagement, and the development of shared-use, fee-for-service technical services that support manufacturers across Northeast Ohio and the broader Midwest.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development, Commercialization & Innovation Hub Support
• Identify, pursue, and develop business development opportunities aligned with YBI’s advanced manufacturing strategy and the Youngstown Innovation Hub’s defense and aerospace focus.
• Support commercialization and technology transition efforts that move innovations from TRL/MRL development into pilot and production environments.
• Engage OEMs, tier suppliers, foundries, tooling and mold shops, and additive manufacturing service providers throughout Northeast Ohio and the Midwest.
• Represent YBI in engagements with industry partners, government agencies, academic institutions, and regional economic development organizations.
Shared-Use & Fee-for-Service Program Development
• Lead the design, launch, and expansion of YBI’s internal fee-for-service and shared-use technical services, in coordination with Innovation Hub activities.
• Develop service offerings, engagement models, and pricing strategies for reverse engineering, 3D scanning and metrology, rapid prototyping, additive manufacturing, and mold/tooling design.
• Align service capabilities with regional manufacturing needs, workforce development priorities, and defense supply-chain requirements.
• Support utilization of YBI and Innovation Hub equipment and facilities by industry partners, small businesses, and startups.
Grant Writing & Federal Program Development
• Lead and support competitive proposals for SBIR/STTR, Department of Defense, and manufacturing-focused federal funding programs.
• Integrate YBI capabilities, Innovation Hub assets, and sustainable revenue models into grant proposals and long-term program strategies.
• Coordinate proposal development across YBI staff, technical teams, academic partners, and administrative stakeholders.
Research, Technical & Market Analysis
• Conduct applied research and market analysis related to additive manufacturing, advanced materials, and hybrid manufacturing processes.
• Support applied R&D, demonstration projects, and pilot programs in metal and ceramic additive manufacturing.
• Evaluate manufacturability, scalability, cost, and quality considerations for transitioning technologies into production.
• Prepare technical reports, white papers, and sponsor-facing deliverables.
Required Qualifications
• PhD preferred (Master’s degree with significant relevant experience will be considered).
• Demonstrated experience in federal grant writing, particularly SBIR/STTR programs.
• Strong applied research and technical analysis capabilities.
• Working knowledge of additive manufacturing and 3D printing technologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred / Bonus Qualifications
• Experience working with or supporting programs for the U.S. Department of War
• Experience building or managing shared-use, fee-for-service, or applied research service models.
• Familiarity with Northeast Ohio and Midwest manufacturing supply chains, including metal additive manufacturing, 3D-printed ceramics, castings, foundry operations, mold design, tooling, and hybrid manufacturing.
