Qualifications:

Oversees the diagnostic imaging department for multiple sites, providing vision, leadership and administrative and operational direction for staffing, strategic planning, budgeting, patient care and technology.   • Develops, implements and oversees department salary, operation and capital budgets. Works collaboratively with all internal and external customers, physicians, patients, and hospital departments to ensure customer satisfaction. Utilizes experience, judgment and current practice standards to develop and accomplish goals while ensuring compliance with regulatory and certifying standards.
  • Routinely monitors patient satisfaction. Ensures that patient care and imaging services meet safety and risk management standards in addition to local, state and federal accreditation regulations. Confirms that patient records and files are maintained in adherence to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations.
  • Oversees Medical Imaging IT systems, ensures proper maintenance and functioning of all Medical Imaging equipment and confirms that the department is in compliance with radiation safety practices and regulations. Develops, communicates and monitors department policies and procedures.
