I’m working with a well-established Northern California mechanical contractor known for delivering complex HVAC and piping solutions to biopharma, commercial, and industrial clients. With a strong reputation for technical expertise, safety, and long-term customer relationships, they continue to expand their footprint across the Bay Area.

They’re looking for a motivated Mechanical Account Executive to drive new business development and strategic growth. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience selling mechanical construction and service solutions who thrives in a performance-driven environment and understands how to navigate sophisticated facilities like biopharma and industrial plants.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• 100% Hunter role with strong account development expectations
• Target annual sales expectations of $1M–$1.5M
• Sell both service and installation projects
• Typical deal sizes:
• $1M+ capital projects
• $300K–$500K mid-sized projects
• Ongoing smaller service/retrofit work under $100K
• Develop relationships within biopharma, advanced manufacturing, commercial, and industrial facilities
• Identify opportunities involving chillers, boilers, air handlers, cooling towers, and heavy mechanical piping systems
• Partner closely with estimating, operations, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution
• Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting
• Build long-term strategic client partnerships, not just transactional sales

Must Haves:

• Proven experience selling mechanical construction or HVAC projects (must have mechanical systems selling experience)
• Background in commercial/industrial mechanical contracting
• Bonus: understanding of piping systems, hydronics, central plants, boilers, chillers, and air handling systems
• Experience selling into technical environments (biopharma or industrial highly preferred)
• Ability to independently prospect, qualify, and close mid-to-large mechanical deals
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to cover the Bay Area

Responsibilities:

We’re currently seeking a skilled, motivated, and hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team at our Forest View, IL facility, conveniently located near Midway Airport.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance following industry best practices to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
• Apply 5S organizational principles, maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient workspace.
• Adhere to all safety standards while working in challenging environments that may include dirty or steam-heated areas.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment used in chemical manufacturing.
• Read and interpret basic blueprints (P&ID experience a plus).
• Conduct basic electrical troubleshooting (460VAC, 220VAC, 110VAC).
• Install and maintain piping systems up to 3” and related process instrumentation (gauges, transducers, thermocouples, etc.).
• Assist with planning, installation, and commissioning of new equipment, piping, and electrical work.
• Use CMMS software to log repairs and daily maintenance activities.
• Execute tasks based on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance priorities.
• Follow all applicable OSHA regulations and company procedures, including LOTO, PPE, hot work permits, confined space, fall protection, and others.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions as needed.
• Support after-hours maintenance needs through the rotating call-in program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Schedule/Shift Details: 2nd shift, Monday-Friday 11AM-7PM

• Must be able to train on 1st shift the first 1-2 months

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree, certificate, or apprenticeship in a relevant technical field preferred. Equivalent education and experience combinations will be considered.
• Minimum of 3 years’ industrial maintenance experience required.
• Experience in chemical processing and related equipment (pumps, mixers, steam systems, fabrication, welding, electrical work) preferred.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications, including CMMS systems and online training platforms.
• Ability to safely operate powered industrial trucks (forklift, scissor lift, etc.).

This position focuses on developing and modifying technical drawings, plans, and models for water infrastructure projects including pipelines, drainage systems, grading plans, and utility layouts.

• Experience working on large capital projects ($1M+ preferred)
• Ability to work independently in the field while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams

Preferred / Highly Aligned Backgrounds

• Mechanical Engineer, Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Senior Project Manager experience
• Power generation, water/wastewater, utilities, industrial, or government infrastructure projects
• Commissioning, startup, or operational turnover experience

Overview:

All Process Mechanics are trained to perform routine maintenance in the primary manufacturing support areas and Materials Management, Quality Control Labs, and Utility Operations.

Responsibilities:

• Repair and repetitive maintenance of valves, centrifuges, pumps, autoclaves, washers, tanks, and associated piping.
• Exhibit detail-oriented documentation skills to ensure Right-First-Time operations.
• Escalate process issues as necessary to ensure resolution of issue.
• Comply with cGMP, SOP and manufacturing documentation.
