Position Summary:
This role supports hands‑on fabrication and prototype development for hybrid-electricpropulsion systems for new and novel aircraft. The technician will build, modify, and assemble components in metals and plastics, applying aircraft‑grade workmanship, and support wiring and integration tasks for electric and mechanical subsystems. The ideal candidate is a creative problem‑solver who can work from prints and fabricate solutions from scratch when needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prototype assembly: Build and integrate components, subassemblies, and test articles used in aircraft propulsion development.
- Light fabrication: Cut, drill, bend, and finish metals and plastics using shop tools and fabrication equipment.

Manage ISO Certification

- 3+ years managing a QMS within ISO 13485 or other ISO Standards within a manufacturing environment, and leading customer/supplier audits.

General Summary of Position
Assists physician with routine to complex invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiovascular procedures such as cardiac catheterizations; cardiac and vascular percutaneous transluminal angioplasties structural heart and other interventional procedures. Performs a variety of related ancillary support activities and other duties as assigned.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists/scrubs in with physician during routine to complex invasive diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac and vascular procedures. Prepares catheters balloons guiding wires etc. to physician as needed.
- Prepares cleans and drapes appropriate site prior to invasive procedure ensuring a sterile field according to Association of Operating Room Nurse (AORN) standards.
- Enters required patient data into the computer connects electrocardiograph (EKG) and pulse oximeter monitors. Provides physical and psychological comfort to patients prior to during and post-procedure.
- Monitors electrocardiograph (ECG) blood pressure and other hemodynamic parameters during procedure in the Cardiac Catherization Laboratory (CCL).
- Assists with intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP) other cardiac assist devices and sets-up/removes arterial and venous lines as needed in the CCL CCU and ICU. Draws arterial blood gases (ABG) as requested by physician. Performs activated coagulation time tests to determine appropriate arterial/venous sheaths removal. Accompanies and monitors patient during transports.
- Prepares/cleans arranges and stocks room/equipment for next procedure. Maintains and stocks inventory such as catheters defibrillators monitors and temporary pacemakers. Provides monitors/external pacemakers to various locations within the hospital.
- Document required data prior to during and post-procedure and enters appropriate codes/charges/equipment used into computer for statistical/billing reports.
- Discharges/transports patients from procedure room. Communicates/instructs patient regarding post procedure site care instructions and precautions as appropriate.
- Provides patient's family/significant others with information related to procedures according to departmental policy and procedures.
- Participates/responds to post-cardiac catheterization site bleeding hematomas pain loss of distal pulse etc. as appropriate and documents findings and resolution.
- Participates in the orientation training and inservices of other/new personnel as defined by CCL manager and departmental educator.
- Administers contrast at the direction of the physician while the physician is in the room directing the administration and dosage.

POSITION SUMMARY
This is position is responsible for the receipt of biological specimens into the department, preparation of samples for analytical testing, and performing waived testing. This position reports to department supervisor, and may take direction from higher level technical personnel. The Medical Device Assembler would be working for a Fortune 500 company and has career growth potential.
This would be full time / 40+ hours per week.

Medical Device Assembler Highlights This position starts as a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs State-of-the-art pharmaceutical manufacturing facility, not a typical warehouse 1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday
- Friday 100% onsite in Durham, NC Medical Device Assembler Compensation The pay for this position is $18.20 per hour Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates Medical Device Assembler Responsibilities · Performs any combination of tasks involved in the fabrication, manufacture, assembly, testing and packaging of medical devices as well as setting up, operating, performing maintenance on and troubleshooting equipment.
· May conduct quality inspections on processing line in accordance with quality specifications.
· Works within clearly defined SOPs and / or scientific methods and adheres to quality guidelines.
Medical Device Assembler Requirements Previous wiring, Cable, Component assembly experience required Previous experience in a manufacturing / warehouse environment highly preferred Ability to work in compliance with all local, federal, and USDA regulations.
Good communication skills and the ability to maintain efficiency in the workplace and effective in a team environment.

Maintain inventory and orders orthopedic medical supplies and/or durable medical equipment Assembling medical devices for a medical supply company in a laboratory clean room work environment Assembling medical devices in a laboratory clean room work environment Build complex medical devices under minimal direction and supervision Assembling medical kits according to PIC slips Completed in compliance with company quality system and medical device regulations Assemble medical products, performing a variety of tasks on a rotating basis Inspect, stock, and ship disposable medical supplies down the product line Assemble medical components, subassemblies, products or systems Utilizing hand-held/bench machinery to facilitate the assembly of medical products of a simple to complex nature Read and follow written work instructions Understanding of FDA and international regulatory requirements for medical device packaging validation Assemble and test medical devices and related products in accordance with documented work instructions and procedures Performing light assembly on medical devices according to client specifications Inspect assembles per Manufacturing Procedure or Assembly drawings Lead the start-up and ongoing operation of the Company's medical device package testing group Assemble and test medical device assemblies, final products, and accessories per the manufacturing documentation Assemble, bonds coats and process medical devices and related parts using microscopes and applicable tools Examine medical devices and related assemblies after molding operations to locate bubbles, nicks and/or excess epoxy Interpret applicable medical device regulations including 21 CFR Part 820, ISO standards, CDRH guidelines and medical device directives

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilitiesinclude the following: Applies paint to vehicle parts after repair work is complete.
Covers vehicle parts that do not require painting.
Buffs or cleans surfaces after paint dries.
Requests necessary materials.
Performs paint jobs efficiently and according to Collision Center guidelines.
Maintains CSI at or above Company standards Maintains an organized, clean and safe work area Participates in required training Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system Follows Safeguards rules and regulations.

Environment Demands: Duties are performed primarily in the body repair shop.

May be exposed to loud noise, vibration, paint-dust, paint fumes, and other body repair shop conditions.
Verbal and Writing Ability: Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
Math Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Performs lube, oil and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, including idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.
Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.
Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.
Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed.
Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.
Ensures that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.
Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels.
