We are looking for an Orthopedic Surgeon to help care for our fast growing roster of patients. We are looking for someone who is interested in caring for patients with orthopedic injuries and assist in pain management health services. While working alongside many physicians, specialists, PA’s and talented staff, the ideal candidate will hold a vital role in providing the necessary medical services, performing surgical procedures and other related medical services. Our new surgeon would be responsible for providing care to existing patients as well as new patients. Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients and provide appropriate diagnosis for illness and/or injuries with bones, joints, ligaments and other related injuries.
- Preform necessary surgical and medical procedures.
- Thoroughly examine patient’s medical history, test results and imagery to diagnose and create and execute treatment plans.
- Carefully and attentively operate on patients to treat, repair or improve functioning joints, bones, ligaments and/or other related injured body parts.
- Ensure patients understand their diagnosis and receive relevant information.
- Must be open-minded when discussing various treatment option for patient, ensuring all options are taken into consideration.
- Document all patient evaluations, treatments, medications and transactions according to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor patients progress during and after treatments and/or surgery.
- Prescribe, administer and dispense medication in accordance with state and federal regulations.

- Supervise Medical Assistants and PA’s to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and procedures.

Requirements:
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery

They may work with patients who have injuries to their muscles, bones, tissues, or nervous system. PM&R physicians may also treat patients with neuromuscular disorders, musculoskeletal trauma, chronic pain, cardiac or pulmonary disease, or other disabling conditions.
Some responsibilities of PM&R physicians include:
- Examining patients: Assessing mobility, strength, communication, cognition and pain characteristics
- Developing treatment plans: Using non-medical devices or therapies
- Monitoring progress: Tracking patient responses to treatments and the effectiveness of pain management interventions
- Teaching patients: Helping patients and their families adapt to lifestyle changes PM&R physicians who treat injured workers may need to coordinate medical care if multiple specialty physicians are required.
- Worker’s Compensation is a no-fault insurance program that may cover rehabilitative services, such as physical or occupational therapy, if deemed medically necessary. Some PM&R physician jobs may prefer candidates with previous clinical experience in PM&R, work and motor vehicle-related injuries, and knowledge of workers’ compensation and no-fault laws & regulations.

Responsibilities
- Perform nerve conduction studies (NCS) according to established protocols and physician orders.
- Prepare patients for EMG / NCS procedures, including verifying identity, explaining the test, and answering basic questions.
- Accurately place electrodes and operate EMG/NCS equipment to obtain reliable, interpretable data.
- Assist the supervising physician during EMG examinations, including adjusting settings, recording data, and documenting findings as directed.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout testing, following CitiMed policies and infection control standards.
- Review patient history and indications for testing; confirm test orders and clarify discrepancies with the ordering provider.
- Maintain and calibrate EMG/NCS equipment; promptly report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Accurately document procedures, test parameters, and observations in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Follow all clinic policies, including our policy regarding patients under the influence and other safety standards.
- Collaborate with physicians, medical assistants, and front office staff to support efficient clinic flow and on‑time patient scheduling.
- Participate in ongoing training, quality improvement, and compliance activities as required.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Formal training as an EMG / NCS Technician, Neurodiagnostic Tech, or related field; or equivalent on‑the‑job experience.
- Demonstrated experience performing nerve conduction studies in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Basic knowledge of neuroanatomy and neuromuscular physiology related to EMG/NCS.
- Strong patient communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to follow detailed protocols, maintain accurate records, and manage time effectively.
- Professional, dependable, and able to maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance).
Preferred:
- Certification such as Registered Nerve Conduction Studies Technologist (R.NCS.T), CNCT, or other relevant neurodiagnostic certification.
- Experience in an injury / physical medicine / pain management / neurology practice.
- Familiarity with common EMR systems and outpatient clinic workflows.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other) is a plus.

QUALIFICATIONS: 1.

Successful mastery of nursing skills and knowledge related to a Patient Care Coordinator position 3.
CPR 4.
Previous experience or demonstrates skills in leadership and management 5.
