The Employee Relations Specialist role is entrusted to handle workplace concerns and action plans providing intervention as necessary. This role will work extensively with People Leaders to identify opportunities to proactively and preventatively address common Employee Relations (ER) issues and will provide guidance and coaching to leaders of all levels to address team member conduct and performance areas. Responsible to stay attuned to organizational and operational changes across the Company to identify potential ER risks to address proactively. At its heart, the focus of this position is about positive team member experiences and retention. It focuses on both individual and collective relationships in the workplace with an increasing emphasis on the connection between People Leaders and their team members to form mutual respect, trust, and appreciation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Act as a consultant for managers on issues related to team member performance, conflict resolution, and problem solving related to the management of team members.
- Follow a fair and objective process appropriate for team member concerns including fact-finding and ensuring adherence to employee relations policies and practices. Conduct investigations per Company process.
- Provide specialist level support, thought partnership, guidance, and coaching to all levels of People Leaders.
- Follow expected documentation techniques and ensure maintenance of accurate, confidential records regarding all reported matters and fact-finding documentation.
- Maintain the highest level of integrity and confidentiality when managing employee relations issues and managing reported matters.
- Stay attuned to organizational and operational changes across the company to identify potential employee relations risks and raise awareness with manager.
- Provide guidance and assistance with the development and delivery of appropriate performance feedback or action plans including corrective/disciplinary actions and performance improvement plans.
- Responds to and represents the Company as needed for unemployment claims.
- Depending on work location, may fulfill other HR responsibilities onsite.

- Provide guidance to local leadership on workplace threats and emergencies (violence, reasonable suspicion testing, conflicts, substance abuse, etc.).

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Human Resources, Business or related field and at least one year of related experience; or at least 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have demonstrated knowledge of employment law and HR practices. Must be highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and comfortable with HRIS systems.
CERTIFICATIONS
PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred but not needed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Safely and efficiently operate Pella Corporation aircraft with an emphasis on safety, security, and quality. Upholding safety is paramount.
- Exercise pilot in command authority of assigned flights and serve as the final authority on the safe conduct of those flights.
- Understand and ensure compliance with applicable FARs and Pella Corporation’s Flight Operations Manual.
- File flight plans and interpret weather data and NOTAMs based on flight plan.
- Determine aircraft airworthiness through thorough preflight and postflight inspections and clearly report discrepancies to maintenance in a timely manner.
- Represent Pella Corporation at an executive level when dealing with business associates, officials, and customers.
- Obtain an FAA Type Rating for all company aircraft and maintain appropriate currency and certification requirements as set by governing authorities and Pella Corporation.
- Participate in the SMS by reporting safety hazards and concerns to identify risks and promote safety.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
CONTRACT SUPPORT
- Work with Rinnai Associates to implement all contractual agreements, including sales-based programs, with required documentation and management approvals via CLEAR Workflow
- Manage contract tracking process including but not limited to drafting, review, editing, proper approvals, signatures, and final distribution.
- Maintenance of all contracts and legal documents; electronic and hard copy

SUMMARY: Ensuring the safety and regulatory compliance of food contact packaging materials is a critical business requirement. The Corporate Regulatory Compliance Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining programs that establish our packaging materials are in compliance with regulations in North America, Europe, and other countries our packaging materials are sold in. By applying technical, organizational and project managerial skills, guidance will be provided to Packaging R&D, Sales, Quality, and Manufacturing teams on packaging regulatory matters.

- Own, Develop, and Manage internal processes, governance and systems/databases to efficiently maintain regulatory compliance of packaging materials; both supplier regulatory information and communications to customers.
- Facilitate and implement legal advice into our business regarding food contact material compliance.
- Respond to customer surveys and requests for regulatory information.
- Collaborate with external suppliers to ensure newly developed or revised packaging materials meet regulatory requirements of targeted applications.
- Proactively anticipates potential hurdles and works with sales and technical teams to resolve.
- Keep abreast of key regulatory and consumer developments for packaging materials via workgroups, literature reviews and industry news. Determine business implications, communicate with cross functional stakeholders, and put action plans in place to address.
- Represent APC at conferences and participation in professional association activities including industry workgroups focused on packaging and food safety.
- Provide training and guidance on regulatory requirements for packaging specifications.
- Manage verification testing and maintain requirements to ensure our packaging materials are safe for use as intended.
- Lead the process to ensure that new materials entering our facilities have been evaluated for food safety and that they are safe for their intended use.
- Manage the process for other packaging based regulatory information to include USP, Drug Master File, Sustainable Materials, End of Life Packaging Responsibilities such as EPR and PPWR, and other material certifications.
Organizational Relationships:
- Reports directly to the Director of R&D and Technical Solutions who provides overall strategic direction.
- Manages direct report(s) to ensure objectives are met and the team is responsive to customers and other stakeholders.
- Interacts with Customers, Suppliers, Sales, Purchasing, Technical, Quality, and Manufacturing Departments at each Center of Excellence to ensure materials have been assessed for their intended use, and supports the required customer documentation as needed.

- Prepare monthly recap for the VP of Sales & Marketing and VP of Operations on production, inventory, and sales history, along with 1-3 month forecast updates for the demand planning worksheet.
- Manage ongoing demand planning process with the Director of Supply Chain and Director of Business Development to maintain appropriate product mix, service area, color needs, and inventory across plants while understanding capacity constraints for all shingle and manufactured accessories. To include building and maintaining inventory floor plans on accessory items for each plant and reloading facility.
- Work with the Director of Supply Chain to evolve the Sales-Inventory-Operations Planning (SIOP) process over time to meet the needs of the organization.

Position Summary:
The Structural Superintendent is responsible for providing on-site coordination for all phases of construction projects, including coordinating subcontractors, material and equipment, ensuring that specifications are being strictly followed, and work is proceeding on schedule and within budget. Job Summary
Based in Moreno Valley, California, the Senior Industrial Relations Manager is a field-based role supporting industrial relations for a construction project. The position works closely with site leadership, and the position is directly responsible for administering the project labor agreement for the Moreno Compressor Modernization project working with the San Bernardino and Riverside counties building and construction trades council. Duties to include, conduct pre job meetings, hold monthly labor management meetings and spend time in the field as needed supporting the project.
