Our business is expanding and we are looking for a Project Manager who has experience working on large scale residential or light commercial building projects (office space, religious buildings, etc). Reporting to the Trade Operations Leader, the Trade Compliance Associate supports the execution of international trade compliance activities to help ensure HellermannTyton North America operates in accordance with U.S. Customs and applicable foreign trade regulations. This position provides day-to-day operational and compliance support for import and export processes, including reviewing entry documentation, maintaining HTS classifications and Country of Origin (COO) data, and administering free trade agreement programs such as USMCA. The role assists with vendor solicitation and collection of COO and HTS certifications, maintains required trade documentation, and supports accurate duty application and trade remedy tracking. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
The Trade Compliance Associate is responsible for maintaining organized and accurate trade records, updating internal databases, and ensuring activities align with established corporate policies, departmental procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Essential Functions:
- Prepare and issue Free Trade Agreement (FTA) certificates, including USMCA, and other required trade program declarations for customers and affiliated entities.
- Perform FTA qualification analyses for manufactured and resale products in accordance with applicable U.S. trade agreement rules.
- Review and audit import entry documentation to ensure accurate HTS classification, Country of Origin (COO), trade remedy applicability (e.g., Section 232/301, IEEPA), and proper duty assessment.
- Assign and maintain product trade classifications, including HTS, ECCN, Schedule B, COO, and applicable preference criteria, with supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and customs brokers to obtain and validate required classification and origin data.
- Maintain and update the internal trade compliance database to ensure accurate import and export classification records.
- Administer the annual supplier solicitation process for trade certifications covering purchased materials, components, and resale products.
- File Electronic Export Information (EEI) through AES and maintain ITN documentation for U.S. export shipments.
- Conduct restricted party screening and escalate potential matches in accordance with U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
- Maintain trade compliance records in accordance with 15 CFR, 19 CFR, and company retention policies to support audit readiness.

What Will I Do in This Position?
The Senior Software Engineer will work within our existing product development team to deliver rapid improvements to new and existing software systems. The engineer will be an integral part of BaseCamp’s software team. They will work collaboratively with other engineers, QA, UX Design, and a Product Manager to build the company’s proprietary software suite into the preeminent platform in the resale industry. Specific aspects of the role will include:
- Implement new features and fixes across the entire software stack

We are representing a fast-growing, entrepreneurial corporate and securities law firm that operates at the intersection of capital markets, M&A, and growth-stage public companies. The firm is a recognized leader in micro-cap and small-cap public company transactions, advising U.S. and international issuers, investors, placement agents, and funds on complex financings, exchange listings, and strategic transactions.
This is an opportunity for a deal-running securities lawyer who understands how capital is raised and transactions are closed in the lower-middle-market public company ecosystem — not just blue-chip IPOs.
The Practice
The firm serves as outside general counsel and capital-markets quarterback to micro-cap, small-cap, and growth-stage public companies seeking access to U.S. capital markets and institutional investors. The platform handles:
- Reverse mergers and alternative public offerings
- PIPEs, structured equity & convertible debt financings
- Uplisting from OTC, TSX, AIM, and other markets to NASDAQ or NYSE
- Initial and secondary public offerings
- Resale registration statements and follow-on financings
- Public company M&A, asset sales, and strategic investments
- Balance-sheet restructurings, recapitalizations, and equity clean-ups
These matters often involve thinly traded securities, cross-border issuers, complex capital structures, and simultaneous financings, requiring attorneys who understand both the business reality and the regulatory framework.
What You’ll Do
You will act as lead capital-markets and securities counsel on high-volume, deal-driven matters, including:
- Structuring and documenting PIPEs, registered directs, and private placements
- Drafting and reviewing S-1s, resale registration statements, 10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks, and prospectuses
- Managing NASDAQ, NYSE, SEC, and FINRA processes tied to uplistings and financings
- Advising boards and management on corporate governance, disclosure, and fiduciary duties
- Supporting M&A and recapitalization transactions tied to capital raises
- Working directly with CEOs, investors, placement agents, and underwriters
This is a front-line deal role, not a back-office compliance position.
