The Critical Care Transport Paramedic (CCTP) provides high quality pre-hospital basic and advanced life support including triage, assessment and treatment utilizing the policies and protocols within the scope of practice as directed by the Critical Care Transport Medical Director. The CCTP, in collaboration with their partner, will assess the nature and extent of illness and injury to establish and prioritize care needed for a safe transport to an appropriate facility. The CCTP will be responsible the ensuring that safety remains the highest priority throughout the transport continuum. Effective communication skills are required as multiple patient hand offs can occur in the course of a transport. The CCTP will also be responsible for public relations activities in the region, education of regional providers, quality review of transports, case study reviews, among other PR and quality activities. When not on flights, the CCTP will ‘task‘ within the hospital or other affiliated hospital facilities, as needed. This position requires work on both air and ground ambulances during assigned shifts.

Responsibilities

The compensation range for this position is $25.18per hour - $42.05per hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. Conemaugh MedSTAR provides advanced life support and critical care transport for patients of all ages during interfacility and scene responses via air and critical care ground transport. The flight nurse directs patient care from initial contact through transfer to the receiving facility, maintains clinical excellence in accordance with Pennsylvania Department of Health standards and Air Methods patient care guidelines. The flight nurse also serves as a clinical leader, educator, and liaison to EMS agencies, hospitals, and the community. How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Provides nursing care from the initial contact until patient care is relinquished to the accepting medical facility; maintains thorough patient care documentation.

Our assets are comprised of four helicopters as well as a fleet of ambulances dispatched by our communications center "Flightwatch" – all operating 24 hours a day.
Helicopter bases are located in Burlington, Aberdeen, Goldsboro, and Rocky Mount.
Rotor wing aircraft are staffed with one nurse and one paramedic.
They respond to both emergency scene requests as well as interfacility transfers of critically ill patients Our ground assets are located throughout the Triangle.

Summary: Provides competent clinical nursing care consistent with professional standards.
Reporting and accountable to the Nurse Manager/Director, the Clinical Nurse is responsible for coordinating and delivering patient care utilizing the nursing process in a hospital setting.
This position is 36 hours per week, rotating shifts and rotating bases with Carolina Air Care Pediatric / Neonatal Critical Care Transport Team.
The work environment is a helicopter and ground ambulance with some time spent outdoors.
Must be able to work in this environment with no restrictions and due to air craft safety regulations, there is a weight restriction and fit for duty requirement i.e.
weight 215 pounds or less and ability to lift 150 pounds with assistance.
Successful candidate will have recent experience in Neonatal and/or Pediatric ICU with 3 years minimum and 5 years preferred.

Key Role Description
Responsibilities primarily involve day-to-day support of pipeline and terminal process control systems and associated applications, including, but not limited to, distributed regulatory control systems (SCADA and LDS systems), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and process history data systems. Responsibilities also include support for the control portion of MIPC pipeline and terminal projects and day-to-day technical support to various other departments within the organization including operations, reliability, and IT. Much of the work is project-orientated and requires working on a number of projects and priorities simultaneously.

* Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent. Experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
* 2-5 years of experience with SCADA/PLC systems
* Gas, and/or Liquids pipeline experience preferred with a working knowledge of measurement technologies, process control automation, device protocols, networking, and telecommunications.
