Qualifications

Required Education

- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN)

Licensure

- Current RN license in the state of practice (or compact license, as applicable)- Must meet all state Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications

- BLS through the American Heart Association (or completion within 30 days of hire)- One or more of the following may be required based on unit needs or obtained within departmental timelines:

- ACLS

- NRP

- ENPC

- TNCC

- CPHON

- OCN

- PALS

- PEARS

- S.T.A.B.L.E.

- C‐EFM

- Other unit‐specific certifications as required

Physical Requirements

- Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

(Preferred education, licensure, and experience may be added per hiring manager need.)

What You'll Do

As a Women's Health/GYN RN, you will be a central part of our interdisciplinary care team, advocating for patients and delivering compassionate, evidence‐based care.

You will:

• Partner with patients and families to make informed decisions about care
• Assess, document, and develop individualized care plans
• Perform thorough shift‐to‐shift and interdepartmental hand‐offs using patient safety tools (SBAR, bedside reporting, etc.)
• Communicate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary team members, patients, and families
• Stay informed through unit huddles, emails, and ongoing communication
• Participate in process improvement initiatives and performance development
• Maintain required competencies, certifications, and continuing education
• Use professional literature and evidence‐based practice to inform clinical decisions
• Precept students or new coworkers as requested
• Delegate to and guide unlicensed personnel and LPNs appropriately
• Participate in hospital committees or special projects as assigned
• Conduct patient rounding according to departmental guidelines
• Utilize and interpret diagnostic, laboratory, and monitoring data
• Fulfill call, weekend, or alternative shifts based on department needs
• Perform other duties as assigned

About Our Unit:Our 25-bed Neurosurgery Unit provides specialized care for patients recovering from brain and spine surgeries, as well as ENT, trach, and thyroid procedures. Nurses gain hands-on experience with complex surgical cases while supporting patients through every stage of recovery. The territory for this position is based in St. Louis, MO. Preference will be given to applicants who currently live in St. Louis or nearby areas.

Description

The Territory Manager develops an assigned territory to meet desired sales, gross margin, and profit goals. The Territory Manager represents the entire range of company products and services available within his/her territory to assigned customers while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring the customer’s needs and expectations are met by the company.

Essential Functions

Territory Management

• Proactively leads an account planning process that develops performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones
• Establish a business plan to meet assigned objectives, goals, and quotas
• Proper management of assigned T&E budget
• Communicate daily with Inside Sales Representatives, Regional Manager, Marketing, and other company organizations and external partners as required

Account Management

• Implements selling process with account planning and sales calls
• Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts
• Identifies growth opportunities within existing accounts and target accounts.
• Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs on an ongoing basis
• Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel

Marketing/Training

• Supports and execute Vetoquinol’s Sales and Marketing activities
• Conducts product knowledge training sessions with customer’s sales staff on all applicable products
• Merchandises each customer with updated samples, literature, and displays.

Communication

• Proper communication internally and externally, including prompt reviews and replies to email, voice mail, and phone calls
• Relays all competitive information to company management
• Meet all required deadlines and proper follow-up and follow through on requests assigned or asked of the Territory Manager.

Travel

• This role will require travel up to 60%-70% of the time, including travel associated with territory management, trainings, veterinary conferences, and business meetings.
• Overnight travel will be required to effectively manage your territory.
• This role requires the employee to maintain a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Vetoquinol USA’s car insurance policy.

General and Administrative

• Supports the corporate vision, mission, and values
• Communicates effectively with various management and operational departments, informing and updating them regularly to guarantee that sales and customer objectives are met
• Complies with all OSHA safety requirements, work rules, and regulations
• Compiles and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc.
• Follows systems and procedures outlined in company manuals
• Participates as a team player by supporting company operations as needed
• All other duties as requested by management

Qualifications

Formal Education and Certification

• Four-year college degree from an accredited institution
• 5 years experience in business-to-business sales may be substituted for educational requirement

Knowledge and Experience

• Minimum of 2-5 years’ experience in business-to-business sales
• Experience in animal or human health sales is highly preferred
• Computer skills and proficiency

Personal Attributes

• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Highly developed interpersonal skills, possessing an ability to work with a diverse population
• Proven skills in negotiation
• Ability to function independently in a multi-task environment, as well as part of a team
• Desire to serve
