Responsibilities

• Collaborates with Sales and Technical Sales Support staff in the assessment of targeted projects and in the preparation of presentations and proposals. Engages technical consultants, advisors and sales managers as needed
• Verifies pre contract project activities as part of establishing project action plans (order clarity) Prepares project management action plans to ensure compliance with schedules and budgets and overall project customer experience excellence
• Organizes, coordinates and facilitates project teams and resources to meet project objectives
• Evaluates and understands projects by conducting thorough reviews of project documents, drawings, specifications, customer requirements and expectations and contracts

• Maintains consistent communication with the client regarding work product, drawings, submittals, schedules, processes and expectations
• Establishes fabrication production slots in accordance with the project schedules and action plans by coordinating directly with external vendors, suppliers and factory partners
• Manages and administers purchase orders and work orders with external resources, vendors, suppliers, factory partners and logistics companies.
• Manage and/or help coordinate project delivery requirements
• Promptly address issues of material shortages, deficiencies and installation support
• Follow and enforce processes, procedures and systems for exceptional project success

Qualifications & Skills

• 3 plus years of project management experience in the construction products industry
• Associates or Bachelors degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management, or relevant technical field or equivalent working experience
• Solid experience and understanding of Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings and conventional steel framing systems
• Skilled at reading and understanding project drawings and specifications
• Firm grasp of project related finances: cash flow, margins, and job costing Experience in the following software:
• MS Office Suite – proficient in Excel
• CRM and project management/scheduling software
• Graphics and modeling (Sketchup, BimSight, or any BIM program)

SUMMARY

We are looking for a visionary Project Manager of Building Science Knowledge systems who will manage projects that support the National Institute of Building Sciences (NIBS) ability to assemble, store, and disseminate codes, standards, performance criteria, and best practices in the built environment. Our client in the public infrastructure sector is seeking a Project Manager to manage capital and operating projects across complex, high-profile infrastructure environments, ensuring delivery aligns with scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards. The Project Manager will work closely with engineering, construction, and operations teams to drive project execution from initiation through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day project management activities including planning, initiation, coordination, and execution of capital and operating projects
• Conduct and coordinate site visits to define detailed project scopes aligned with program priorities
• Review design and construction documents, including cost estimates and schedules, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• Evaluate project financials including budgets, forecasts, cash flow, change orders, and invoices; implement corrective actions as needed
• Establish project risk frameworks and develop mitigation and contingency plans
• Anticipate project challenges, manage stakeholder expectations, and proactively resolve technical and operational issues
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with approved scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards, and properly closed out
• Coordinate with Engineering Design teams to secure internal and external resources and advance projects through all design phases

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 3+ years of project management experience delivering capital projects in complex environments (e.g., high-rise, transportation, or large commercial infrastructure)
• Strong understanding of design and construction processes across multidisciplinary teams (architectural, structural, MEP, civil)
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with accountability for scope, schedule, budget, and quality
• Experience with capital planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, and life-cycle analysis
• Knowledge of building codes, regulatory requirements, and public-sector project delivery frameworks
• Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders including engineering, construction, operations, and external vendors
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior leadership and external stakeholders
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam/Adobe, and Primavera P6

Responsibilities:

• Provide project management expertise and support and facilitate manager-assigned Cyber Security strategic initiative project or projects, from beginning to end, providing expert guidance on the PMI-based project management methodology, best practices, and internal skill development as requested by and with guidance from the manager, team lead or other personnel with the authority to do so, work will include:

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related technical discipline is preferred.
• 10 years of experience is required with an applicable bachelor’s degree.
• 14 years of direct work experience is required without a degree or a non-applicable bachelor’s degree.
• Experience must include project management of full lifecycle OT/IT Software, OT/IT Hardware, Data Integration, Telecom and/or Network Infrastructure related projects, developing technical specifications and project plans for medium-to large-sized projects. Service Desk or Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience will not meet project experience requirements.
• Note: Level 3 is typically responsible for medium – to large -sized projects (25M and higher lifecycle cost). “Typically,” as it refers to project size is determined by an average of the worker’s assigned projects and includes the complexity, visibility, and sensitivity of the projects within the past year and is not based on a single project-funding amount.
• Advanced skills with MS Project to include fundamental operation, function, and workflow of MS Project regarding timelines, dependencies, project expectations, milestones, and resources.
• Demonstrated ability to manage OT/IT Software, OT/IT Hardware, Data Integration, Telecom and/or Network Infrastructure projects, and/or Applications Integrations projects in accordance with industry project management principles.
