As a Senior Software Engineer - Engineering Productivity at Reliable Robotics, you will design, and implement software to support the development, analysis, and certification of automated aircraft systems. You will work closely with product owners and end users to develop solutions that enable and optimize engineering development workflows. The software you produce will be critical to the development and certification of the first fully autonomous aircraft.

Responsibilities

In your role as an internal tool developer, you will develop applications, infrastructure, and tools used by engineering to capture product requirements and interface definitions, model the product architecture and design, and reduce and analyze flight and lab test data. You will supercharge the engineering organization's efficiency and effectiveness by streamlining tools and processes. You will work with other teams and stakeholders to establish technical and UX design requirements for these projects and own the "plan, code, build, test, release, deploy" lifecycle of these applications and services.

Basic Success Criteria

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience

• 5+ years experience with professional full stack web development in a team setting

• Professional experience with core browser technologies (JavaScript, HTML, CSS) and TypeScript

• Experience structuring dynamic, model-driven data and determining data relationships

Summary of Position

As a Staff Software Engineer, you are a senior individual contributor who leads the design and delivery of significant platform features and raises the bar for engineering quality across the team. You'll work handson in code-designing APIs and data flows, building services in Python/FastAPI and React frontends, and guiding solutions from idea to production. Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead technical design for platform features and services, breaking ambiguous requirements into clear, incremental designs and stories for your team and adjacent partners.

• Strong proficiency with Python and modern web backends (FastAPI, Flask, Django, or similar) and solid understanding of HTTP, API design, and data modeling.

• Significant experience with React (or a comparable SPA framework) and building production frontends that talk to backend APIs.

• Demonstrated ability to own features end-to-end in a small team: from shaping requirements through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and support.

The base salary range for this position is$180,000 - $200,000. Role Description

This is a full-time on-site Robotics Engineer role located in Danvers, MA. The Robotics Software Engineer will be responsible for tasks such as developing robotics systems, implementing process automation, and collaborating with the software development team to enhance technology solutions.

Qualifications:

• Support Capital Projects as an integral team member in providing analysis to support optimized layout, flow, machine cycle, and staffing for new equipment and processes.

• Lead and support industry innovation initiatives thatinspiresuch as Automatic Guided Vehicles, robotics, automation to simplify work, improve productivity and ergonomics, and reduce complexity.

• Additionalresponsibilities include facility workforce planning, productivity planning, machine capacity analysis, process effectiveness analysis, project management, expansion needs analysis, material flow analysis, developing andmaintainingengineered time standards, value stream mapping, processflowand line balancing.

WHAT WILL YOU BRING

• Demonstrated experience in leading a team or project group by setting clear goals, delegating tasks effectively, providing regular feedback/coaching, leading by example, and fostering a positive work environment. Military service (Junior Military Officer or Senior Non-Commission Officer) a plus.

• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of industrial, manufacturing, maintenance, engineering, project, or related technical experience. For Entry Level, this can include internship, Co-op, apprentices, military service, or similar programs.

• BS in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical major is preferred.

• Ability to influence and negotiate with others both in verbal and written forms.

• Ability to set and achieve goals with minimum supervision.

• Success in working with other people orteamto meet a commonobjective.

• Good interpersonal skills to show appreciation, use empathy to understand, resolve disputes professionally, and to practice active listening skills.

• Developed and implemented project plans that met or exceeded expectations.

• Microsoft OfficeExceldata analysisproficiency.MicrosoftPowerBI isa plus.

• Validated use of computer skills including experience with digital tools like MicroStrategy, Power BI,PIand PowerApps.
