DGG is seeking an experienced construction professional to serve in a combined role of Superintendent, QCM, and SSHO on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and/or Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) federal projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations and supervise construction crews and subcontractors
- Develop, implement, and manage project Quality Control (QC) Plans
- Conduct site safety inspections, enforce EM 385-1-1 and OSHA standards, and lead safety briefings
- Coordinate with subcontractors, QCMs, SSHOs, and Superintendents on new Definable Features of Work (DFOW)
- Review and manage submittals, RFIs, contract documents, and quality/safety documentation
- Track deficiencies and verify resolution through follow-up inspections

- Monitor schedules, budgets, resources, and DFOW to ensure timely completion

Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional construction experience
- 3+ years serving as a Superintendent, QCM, and/or SSHO on USACE or NAVFAC federal construction projects
- Experience implementing a three-phase Quality Control (QC) plan
- Strong knowledge of contract specifications, federal construction standards, quality control, and safety requirements
- OSHA 30-hour Construction Safety Certification or equivalent
- Must be proficient with USACE RMS, NAVFAC QCS, or similar project reporting software for tracking DFOW, inspections, incidents, schedules, and progress
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams)
- Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills
- Experience managing schedules, budgets, and multi-disciplinary field teams effectively

To Be Successful in this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering or relevant discipline required.
- Five plus years of project management experience in the industrial construction markets of the Natural Gas pipeline transmission market.
- Must be familiar with lump sum, unit price, competitive bid environment.
- A proven ability to deliver Project Gross Margin on project assignments.
- Must be familiar with a “self-perform” project environment and be used to working in a unionized labor environment.
- A strong understanding of risk assessment policies and procedures.

As the Associate Manager – Field Services Outside Plant Construction, with a primary focus on leading fiber splicing operations across the Boise market. You will bring substantial hands-on experience in fiber splicing, along with a strong understanding of fiber testing, validation, and quality control standards—critical to ensuring the integrity, performance, and reliability of our expanding fiber network.
In this role, you will be responsible for providing functional leadership and direction to non-exempt Field Service construction roles and external contractors (where applicable) in the assigned geographic areas, directly supporting capital projects and inside and outside plant maintenance.
In this position, you will emphasize a strong focus on the team’s ability to provide premier customer service and technical expertise while exhibiting a high level of professionalism in all internal and external interactions. You will be responsible for achieving all key operating metrics, including:
- Customer Service Address additions through capital project completion
- Capital project targets
- Overtime management
- Quality assurance program
- Inventory management
- Construction technician development
- Operating budget adherence
This position requires 24/7 availability and, in some markets, leads a team scheduled to work 7 days per week. This position is responsible for the management of front-line escalations from teams across TDS (e.g., Sales, Customer Repair, Network Engineering, Network OSP Construction, Service Activation, and other internal teams). This includes managing customer and community escalations in a professional manner.
Furthermore, responsibilities also include local vendor selection and management of network construction and maintenance vendors and, at times, facilities management (i.e., janitorial, snow clearing, lawn mowing, HVAC, generators, electrical, etc.)
This position must reside within 50 miles of Boise, ID and involves frequent travel within the markets for coverage. Additionally, this role reports to the office daily and is not a work-from-home (WFH) position.
Responsibilities:
- Directs activities and personnel necessary for the construction of installation and repair of TDS OSP fiber networks to ensure Network Operations project timelines are met on time and within project capital budget requirements. Facilitates meetings with Network Services to depict project timelines, ensures project closing information is submitted in a timely manner, and materials and associate time are properly allocated to projects.
- Provides leadership to the direct team and all other teams involved in OSP construction that creates and maintains a challenging and rewarding environment. Ensures team maintains proper understanding of TDS’ goals and is coached through process improvements as those needs arise.
- Assists Network Services in the planning and execution of all capital projects to ensure are completed in a timely and cost-efficient manner.

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Service & Installation Technician with a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience. You will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and installing heating and air conditioning systems in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can handle a variety of equipment—from standard split systems to ductless mini-splits—while providing the kindhearted customer service Sunland is known for.
Pay:
* $35 - $55 an hour based on experience
* This is an hourly rate / not commission (we do not require minimum sales tickets)
Schedule:
* This position will require occasional overtime and rotational on call nights and weekends.
Key Responsibilities
* Installation: Perform full system replacements and new installations for residential and commercial clients, including ductwork modifications and mini-split setups.
* Service & Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures in HVAC systems.
* Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, seasonal tune-ups, and duct cleaning to ensure system efficiency and longevity.
* Customer Education: Explain repairs and options to customers clearly, helping them make informed decisions without high-pressure sales.
* Must be : savvy on tablets to complete their daily dispatches, invoicing and quotes.
* Documentation: Maintain accurate logs of parts used, work performed, and system performance.
Requirements & Qualifications
* Experience: Must have 7 years of professional experience in both HVAC service/repair and full-system installation.
* Certifications: EPA 608 Certification is required. NATE certification is a plus.
* Technical Skills: Proficient in reading schematics, brazing/soldering, and using diagnostic tools (multimeters, gauges, etc.).
* Physical Ability: Must be able to work in confined spaces (attics/crawlspaces) and climb ladders. Ability to work in Arizona's extreme summer temperatures is essential.
* Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable means of transportation.
* Must be willing to undergo a background check and drug screening.

This role plays a critical leadership position within the organization, guiding projects from early conceptual budgeting through final GMP development while ensuring scope clarity, risk awareness, and strong subcontractor engagement.
Position Summary
The Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Manager owns all pricing strategy and preconstruction cost development at Matukat Construction. This role leads estimating efforts from early conceptual budgeting through final GMP execution, manages subcontractor engagement during bidding, and ensures scope clarity and financial risk awareness prior to construction.
The Senior Estimator works closely with the Project Executive, operations team, and design partners to guide projects through preconstruction while ensuring pricing accuracy, market competitiveness, and alignment with project objectives.
This position reports to the Project Executive and supervises Estimator(s) within the preconstruction team.
Key Responsibilities Preconstruction Leadership & Strategy
Lead all estimating and bidding efforts from conceptual budgeting through final GMP development.
Establish estimating strategy based on delivery method including CMAR, Design-Build, Negotiated, and Hard Bid projects. Review owner program and design documents to identify scope gaps, cost drivers, and construction risks early. Provide strategic cost input during design phases to support constructability and budget alignment.
Partner with the Project Executive to determine go/no-go decisions and bid strategy.
Supervise and mentor Estimator(s) while supporting their technical and professional development.
Estimating & Cost Development
Prepare or oversee conceptual estimates, schematic budgets, design development estimates, and final GMP proposals.
Ensure quantity takeoffs, unit pricing, and scope coverage are complete and accurate.
Develop and maintain historical cost data and market benchmarks for Matukat Construction projects.
Establish contingency strategy and risk allowances in collaboration with the Project Executive.
Review and approve all pricing prior to submission to ownership.
Subcontractor & Vendor Management
Develop and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors and suppliers throughout the Colorado market.
Create and manage bidder lists appropriate for project size, complexity, and market conditions.
Lead bid package development and ensure scopes are clear, complete, and aligned with project documents.
Oversee bid solicitation, follow-up, and bid coverage to ensure competitive participation.
Lead bid leveling, scope analysis, and value comparisons prior to award recommendations.
Risk Identification & Scope Control
Identify scope gaps, ambiguities, and design inconsistencies during document review.
Communicate design risks, market volatility, and cost exposure to the Project Executive.
Ensure exclusions, assumptions, and clarifications are clearly documented in proposals.
Support contract review to confirm scope alignment prior to execution.
Protect Matukat Construction from scope creep during pricing and buyout transitions.
Proposal & GMP Development
Lead assembly of comprehensive project proposals and GMP submissions.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to confirm general conditions, fee structure, and schedule assumptions.
Participate in owner presentations and proposal reviews when required.
Ensure all pricing submissions are professional, complete, and aligned with Matukat Construction standards.
Transition to Operations
Conduct formal estimate handoff meetings with the Project Executive, Project Manager, and Superintendent.
Review scope assumptions, subcontractor inclusions, alternates, and risk items with the operations team.
Support buyout strategy and participate in subcontractor interviews when necessary.
Remain available to clarify estimate assumptions during early stages of project execution.
Team Leadership & Development
Manage and mentor Estimator(s) within the preconstruction team.
Establish internal estimating standards and documentation protocols.
Improve bid package templates, leveling sheets, and cost tracking tools.
Promote continuous improvement in pricing accuracy and market awareness.
What You’ll Bring
7–15 years of experience in commercial construction estimating or preconstruction leadership.
Proven experience leading conceptual budgeting, design-phase estimating, and GMP development.
Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, subcontractor scopes, and bid packaging.
Experience working with multiple delivery methods including CMAR, Design-Build, and negotiated work.
Strong knowledge of construction market conditions, subcontractor pricing, and cost trends.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to lead preconstruction strategy while collaborating with operations, design teams, and ownership groups.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent industry experience.
