You will be responsible to schedule, plan, implement and complete the request for service and provide a friendly and compassionate environment in keeping with the care like family mission of the hospital.

- Prep and screen the patient appropriately for the imaging procedure.
- Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.

- Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.

- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Currently Registered — Radiography, and CT

Medical Imager/X-ray/CT, Rotating

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Medical Imager/X-ray/CT to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the Medical Imager/X-ray/CT is:
- Prep and screen the patient appropriately for the imaging procedure.
- Produce diagnostic images of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems.
- Explain and perform radiologic procedure with consideration to the level of understanding and age appropriateness for the patient.
- Able to assess patient pain interfering with imaging procedure - makes appropriate physician contact for intervention.
- Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists — Currently Registered — Radiography, and CT
- A Bachelor of Science degree is preferred, but not required.
- Current compliance with continuing education credit requirements
- Current BCLS certification
- 2 years experienced preferred

Min: $30.70
Max: $47.58

- Performs advanced noninvasive and invasive vascular imaging exams and oversees the vascular imaging accreditation process.
- Leads clinical quality and patient safety initiatives, including project management, process improvement, data analysis, staff education, and implementation of evidence-based best practices and regulatory standards.
