Credit Assistant (B2B)
Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Opportunity
Blue Harlan is the recruitment partner to this wholesaler and distributor with deep roots and stability. Seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Credit Assistant to support the B2B credit and collections team. This role plays a key part in maintaining strong customer relationships while ensuring accurate processing of credit applications, reporting, and account follow-up. The ideal candidate combines strong administrative skills with excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and review customer credit applications for completeness and accuracy
- Pull and compile credit, aging, and account status reports
- Contact customers regarding skips, short pays, and deductions
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies in collaboration with internal teams
- Provide professional, timely communication to customers and sales partners
- Maintain accurate account documentation and records
- Support the credit team with administrative and reporting tasks as needed
Key Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in credit, accounts receivable, B2B collections, or customer service
- Strong customer service and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle sensitive financial information with confidentiality
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general office software
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
