Supply Chain & Sourcing Manager (Manufacturing & Quality Focus)
Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and execution-driven Supply Chain professional to assist with global manufacturer sourcing and quality assurance initiatives with a strong focus on disposable and consumable products such as gloves, cups, lids, containers, and paper bags. This role is critical in building a reliable, cost-effective, and quality-focused supplier network to support Maadho’s growth.
An ideal candidate combines engineering thinking with supply chain execution, enabling strong evaluation of manufacturing capabilities, product quality, and process reliability.
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Brewster, NY.
Key Responsibilities:
Quality Control & Assurance
- Establish and enforce quality standards, SOPs, and inspection frameworks
- Coordinate pre-shipment inspections, factory audits, and testing protocols
- Analyze defect rates, returns, and supplier performance metrics
- Work closely with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and customer-specific requirements
Engineering & Technical Evaluation
- Assess product designs, materials, and manufacturing processes including: Injection molding, thermoforming, blow molding, paper converting
- Collaborate with suppliers on design improvements and cost optimization
- Interpret technical drawings, specs, and BOMs
Manufacturer Sourcing & Supplier Development
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard manufacturers (domestic & international)
- Conduct supplier capability assessments (production capacity, certifications, lead times)
- Build and maintain a vetted supplier network across key product categories
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred), Supply Chain, or Operations
- 3–7+ years experience in: A) Sourcing/procurement or B) Manufacturing or quality control
- Direct experience with disposable/consumable product categories including Gloves, food packaging, paper/plastic goods, etc.
- Strong understanding of materials and manufacturing processes
