What You’ll Do:
- Craft clear, engaging copy across a variety of digital types - including landing pages, coded web ads, etc.
- Collaborate closely with designers, creative leads, legal/compliance, and internal stakeholders to ensure messaging is accurate, consistent, and on-brand.
- Tailor content for varied audiences, ensuring accessibility, clarity, and relevance across multiple platforms.

Who You Are:
- 5+ years of professional writing experience, with a focus on digital platforms, UX writing, or UI copywriting.

- Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite; comfortable working in Figma and using creative AI tools.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with mastery of AP Style and grammar.

As the College's Writing Specialist, this individual will teach one transition to college course per semester as well as provide personalized learning support, both for academic writing and for students developing general academic success skills (time management, organization, exam preparation, note taking, study, and self-efficacy).
As the Assistant Director, this individual will oversee the ARC's student worker hiring and payroll processes while serving as the direct supervisor for a staff of student tutors.
The Assistant Director & Writing Specialist will model culturally-responsive, trauma-sensitive tutoring techniques and teach the College's PDE 210: Principles of Peer Guided Learning course for newly hired student tutors and teaching assistants.

Salary range:
The compensation model varies depending upon the course delivery format. For a synchronous Live Online course, a reasonable estimate for this position is $1,380 - $2,300 total per course. For an asynchronous Fixed Date Online course, this position is paid $115 - $170 per enrolled student and a reasonable estimate ranges from $920 -$3,400 total per course. General Duties

A unit of the School of Literature, Media, and Communication (LMC), WCP teaches over 6,000 students a year in first-year composition, business/technical communication, research writing, and learning support. Job Summary
The Writing and Communication Program (WCP) in the School of Literature, Media, and Communication at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for multiple Lecturer positions, effective August 1, 2026. Lecturers in the Writing and Communication Program teach a 3/3 in writing classes, pursue relevant research, and provide service to the Program and Institute. Position description
The College Writing Programs at the University of California, Berkeley, invites applications for a pool of qualified temporary instructors to teach summer courses in the College Writing Programs should openings arise. The number of positions varies from summer to summer, depending on the department's needs. All positions are handled on a by-agreement basis.
Programs include:
English Language and Culture: Our English for Academic and Specific Purposes courses are aimed at high-beginning through advanced-level students who want to enhance their English language skills, improve job performance, or undertake university work. Courses are offered both online and in person and are grounded in theme-based and project-based learning.
Creative Writing: Courses include short fiction and drama, nonfiction, poetry, and performance and reading. Most courses are 3-week workshops, although a few are in a longer 6-week format. They are offered both online and in person. A record of publication in creative writing is preferred for creative writing teaching candidates.
Public Speaking: We offer introductory, advanced, and online public speaking courses for lower-division students. All are in a 6-week format.
Reading and Writing in the Disciplines: Courses focusing on education; writing in the biological sciences, law, and business; and other disciplines are offered both online and in person.
Reading & Composition (Berkeley students): We offer online sections of required courses for Berkeley undergraduates, who receive priority enrollment. Instructors must be experienced in teaching composition. Course lengths vary from 8 to 10 weeks.
Job duties:
Successful applicants will teach one or more summer courses. Applicants will be responsible for all classes, including crafting syllabi, teaching in a classroom environment, and grading student work. Instructors will also be required to attend faculty meetings.
Successful applicants will be interested not only in teaching but also in being part of a faculty team. Participation in faculty development workshops and ongoing self-evaluation are important to our program.
UC lecturers are academic appointees and are represented by an exclusive bargaining agent, University Council - American Federation of Teachers (UC-AFT). This position is covered by the collective bargaining agreement of the UC-AFT.
