Under limited to moderate supervision, provides technical solutions to faculty, staff, and students for all aspects of classroom Academic Technologies, including but not limited to displays, complex audio and control systems, and lecture capture software. Significant focus on IP based network audio and visual (AVOIP) academic technology primarily comprised of Extron, QSC, and Dante environments. Ability to work independently as a subject matter expert with an emphasis on learning new skills through training and certifications.

All work and results are documented within a ticketing application. Learning Environments specialists are dispatched to provide hands-on support when a remote solution is not available. Must be able to work within an ITIL, metrics driven environment. All work is guided by the published ITIL Service Operations Framework. Each individual is expected to coordinate with our Service Desk and Mobile Action teams to deliver fully comprehensive support. Must be capable of remote, phone, and chat support, as well as on-site visits and working a service counter. All IT Support Specialists work in a 0-3 Tiered support environment. Any specialist may be required to work in any of the four tiers as needed.

IT Support Specialists (ITSS) are expected to understand and follow consistent defined processes for all service interactions, while observing established standards. The ITSS focuses on continual improvement of their own skills as well as the documented service and troubleshooting processes used by the myIT division.

Hours of operation will vary with season and semester schedule and may include limited nights and/or weekend work.

Job Summary

Vertiv is seeking a highly skilled Electrical Systems Engineer to join our team and focus on the design, development, and validation of Static Transfer Switch (STS) and Power Distribution Unit (PDU) 3-phase power products. Leidos is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to contribute to cutting-edge engineering efforts within our Undersea Systems Division (USD). This role is a unique opportunity to drive innovation in underwater vehicle systems, maritime sensors, subsea telemetry, and ISR solutions that support critical defense and national security missions at Naval Information Warfare Center, Pacific (NIWC PAC).

The Navy E-6 is an airborne command post and communications relay based on the Boeing 707 platform The aircraft are utilized primarily for long-range patrols along the entire U.S. border, and in source and transit zone countries. This platform, now modified to the E-6B standard, conveys instructions from the National Command Authority to fleet ballistic missile submarines, a mission known as TACAMO ("Take Charge And Move Out").

Your duties include, but are not limited to: 

• Maintains repairs and modifies aircraft structures, structural components and engines of complex to extreme difficulty

• Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components.

• Performs preflight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.

The Chemours Corpus Christi site is part of the Thermal & Specialized Solutions Business and focuses on the production of several different refrigerant gases. The site is a multi-unit manufacturing site with several existing well-established product lines as well as a recently built Low GWP production line aligning with growing market demand.

This role will serve as a Plant Support Engineer for one or more areas of the Chemours Assets at this facility. The individual will provide overall E&I Engineering guidance and support for the Operations, Maintenance, and Technology Teams for their area(s). This role will entail involvement in day-to-day troubleshooting in the plant, as well as support for improvement programs in the areas of Safety (PSM), UPTIME, reliability, cost, new capital and cost projects installations, etc.

The diversity of equipment on the site provides for interaction across a wide range of E&I related equipment. The site has a large and experienced pool of technical engineers across various disciplines to learn from and actively work with. Personal growth and development are actively supported through both internal and external training.

The operating units are designated as highly hazardous processes (OSHA PSM Covered Processes).

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• To provide engineering and troubleshooting assistance to the site's unit processes, including all synthesis, refining, storage, and shipping operations to maintain and improve the safety, operability, quality, and cost.
• Provides support for both cost and capital projects to improve the safety, quality, environment, and/or cost of the production unit. This includes scoping out, justifying, and coordinating installation of new/modified facilities
• Provides technical expertise to support specifying and/or maintaining various systems including:
• PLC systems, interlock systems, and DCS
• Low and medium voltage electrical distribution systems including motor control centers, switchgear, relays, sizing power cables, etc.

The Air Defense Ground Equipment (ADGE) Department leads mechanical design, development, and integration of platform systems. This includes shelter systems, hardware integration, cable & interconnections, as well as facility development, and site integration. The department is comprised of individuals with technical expertise and experience in hardware design, integration, and production support. 

The ADGE department is looking for a full-time Sr. Principal Mechanical Engineer to support Patriot Missile Change Control Board (CCB) for major components and sub-assemblies, including obsolescence upgrades, procurement and supplier support

What You Will Do

• Responsibilities (Core & Day to Day) Support design specification development through production qualification reviews and release including ensuring design is manufacturable
• Participate in design peer reviews and conduct trade studies to promote sound technical decisions.
• Provide responses to supplier questions related to general design expectations and interpretation of the relevant specifications​.
• Provide guidance on Raytheon expectations for design rigor, level of TDP & MDP documentation required, typical analysis approach, and other similar topics.
• Connect suppliers with Raytheon subject matter experts as required.
• Collaborate with other engineering disciplines, non-technical disciplines, and suppliers to develop robust design solutions and resolve technical challenges.
• Work with limited supervision and meet technical, schedule, and monetary commitments.
• Apply knowledge and experience in technical problem solving and hardware development in an engaged team environment.

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulation. Or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years experience
• Experience with ERB/CCB process; CCB chair certification or ability to be certified.
• Experience with solid modeling, creating and documenting mechanical designs in Pro/Engineer/CREO or similar modeling tools.
• Experience working within small electromechanical or gyroscope similar assembly/products.
• Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and ASME drawing and documentation standards and procedures

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience with materials, load bearing structures, shock/vibration/load analysis
• Experience using Computer Aided Design (CAD) tools
• Missile portfolio including reviewing trade studies, identification of suitable alternate and interchangeable materials, or design changes as needed
• Ensure technical integrity and engineering execution across the IPTs and other functions to meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements

SUMMARY

Provide professional materials planning focusing on daily execution of purchasing and production planning /scheduling support to the organization. This includes close coordination with suppliers, Sales, Customer Service and Manufacturing departments to ensure smooth execution from the supplier through the manufacturing process. Maintain and improve MRP system or other system parameters and systems, generate and release work orders and/or purchase orders, reschedule and maintain area capacity and purchasing delivery plans, as well as product forecasts. Track, monitor, and advise management on production plans and purchasing delivery schedules in order to achieve planned production levels and to provide excellent customer service at the right cost in order to achieve company goals and objectives.

*This position is not remote eligible; however, the schedule is Monday - Thursday with Friday off!

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Responsible for selecting, ordering, and coordinating materials or services for production and MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations), based on engineering specifications; drive continuous improvement in price, quality, service, delivery performance, and lead times.
• Maintains all MRP or scheduling systems for purchasing, production planning, supplier delivery planning, and work order/capacity management.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with internal/external suppliers, customers, other facilities, and Sales staff.
• Develops supplier network to improve performance in Quality, Cost, and Delivery; conducts Make/Buy and dual-source decisions and presents tradeoffs to leadership.
• Monitors, tracks, and reports daily production planning and purchasing processes to meet customer delivery requirements; supports sales activities, new product introduction, and demand fulfillment.
• Understands terms and conditions, order confirmation, revision/change notice processes, and other facility processes affecting planning and purchasing.
• Maintains and improves MRP system parameters and processes (e.g., kanban, ROP, VMI) for effective planning and control.
• Participates in Sales & Operations Planning to ensure scheduling and purchasing align with long-term sales projections.
• Assists in maintaining inventory levels to meet operational requirements while achieving company inventory goals.
• Builds costed BOMs, negotiates target costs/should cost, and drives PPV (Purchase Price Variance) to goals without schedule risk.
• Qualifies and onboards new suppliers; leads NDA/MSA/SOW/PO terms with Legal/Compliance.
• Secures long-lead items and tooling; manages capacity and material risk.
• Monitors supplier OTD (On-Time Delivery) and quality; leads RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) for escapes and implements prevention.
• Maintains accurate item masters/BOMs, lead times, and pricing in ERP/PLM; supports ECOs (Engineering Change Orders).
• Partners with Product Management and Engineering to identify and develop strategic suppliers.
• Supports continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean/Six Sigma, production metrics, special projects, and compliance with AS9100.
• Proposes changes to purchasing-related procedures and work instructions when improvements arise.
• Contributes to and drives a long-term strategic sourcing roadmap for critical materials

SALARY INFORMATION:

According to several states' laws, this position's salary range falls between $80,000 and $115,000 annually. However, this salary information is merely a general guideline. When extending an offer, Amphenol Critical Medical Technologies considers various factors such as the position's responsibilities, scope of work, candidate's work experience, education/training, essential skills, internal pay equity, and market considerations.

Certain roles are also eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases and annual bonus. These awards are discretionary and allocated based on individual and company performance.
