Job Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President - Marketing, the Market Development Manager for Industrial Automation will lead strategic initiatives to expand HellermannTyton's presence in factory automation markets. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and driving the adoption of innovative cable management solutions for automated manufacturing environments. The position works independently and collaborates with multiple departments, including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations.
Essential Functions:
Market Strategy & Development
- Define and execute industrial automation strategies, with emphasis on factory automation and cable management solutions.
- Conduct market assessments, identify high-growth segments, and develop actionable plans.
- Collaborate with Sales, Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing Communications to align strategies and resources.
- Partner with key commercial stakeholders to determine customer needs and lead the development of new products and marketing deliverables required to expand the company's market position.
Business Growth & Partnerships
- Build relationships with OEMs, system integrators, and channel partners in the automation sectors.
- Develop strategic partnerships to penetrate new markets and expand share in existing ones.
- Participate in industry-related committees as applicable. Interpret code and industry changes and ensure HellermannTyton has the right specifications and products to enable new business.
Product Development Support
- Work closely with Product Category Managers, Concept Team, and Engineering to set design, compliance, and performance specifications for new product developments in assigned markets.
- Provide market intelligence to guide product roadmap and ensure alignment with customer needs.
Sales Enablement & Execution
- Support Key Account Managers and channel teams with technical expertise and market insights.
- Key contributor of new product launches, marketing deliverables, and deployment to the internal and external sales teams, channel, and key influencers in the market. Work closely with the marketing communications team to ensure deliverables further the company's brand equity and are created for maximum impact and results.
- Drive execution of cable management initiatives and other differentiated solutions for automation environments.
Performance Monitoring
- Establish KPIs, track progress, and report quarterly on market penetration and revenue growth.
- Adjust strategies based on performance metrics and evolving market dynamics.
- Monitor and evaluate the competitive landscape in North America and globally. Develop deliverables and products to further differentiate HellermannTyton in the market.

You will be working in missions with continuous changing requirements and expectations, typical of research & development (R&D) environments, and support transitioning missions into high-rate production.
We are looking for talented individuals who can manage complex interfaces and are willing to innovate. Talented individuals with strong foundations in cable & harness design and/or printed wiring board design, such as rigid printed circuit board or flex-based circuit board for our interconnect solutions.
Our engineers possess a strong foundation and knowledge of space vehicle, spacecraft, and/or payload logical architecture. From proposal creation to designing schematics to working hands on in the harness lab to watching a satellite being pushed onto a truck and taken to the launch site, you'll have a hand in it all.
Strong communication and organizational skills are critical to success in this position, along with the ability to build strong relationships, collaborate in a cross-functional environment, and utilize problem-solving skills to proactively identify and manage risks and opportunities.
Position Responsibilities:
- Development & analysis of EWIS architectures for multiple programs and bus configurations from mission and scientific payloads to experimental LEO small satellites to MEO constellations and GEO vehicles.
- Generation of subsystem or unit-to-unit electrical block diagrams.
- Definition and documentation of signal connectivity through cross functional coordination with system, subsystem, and product engineers for spacecraft harness or printed wiring board design.
- Selection of harness components and hardware, such connectors, backshells, and wire/cable based on applicable satellite mission requirements and industry standards.
- Performance of voltage drop analysis, power current derating, and capacitance circuit analysis for harness and printed wiring boards.
- Development and analysis of PCB designs determination board form factor, schematic capture, board stack determination, component placement and trace routing.
- Generation of rigid or rigid-flex PCB, PCB Assembly Drawings, fabrication & assembly output files (Geber, ODB , etc.)
- Generation harness schematic diagrams, wire diagrams, and wire harness assembly drawings.
- Preparation and generation of harness acceptance testing procedures including the development of harness test scripts for cable testers.
- Participation of critical programmatic milestones (Preliminary Design Reviews, Critical Design Reviews, etc.) including the preparation of data packages, conduction of design reviews, and closure of any liens from the Milestone Decision Authority (MDA).
- Support assembly and testing of FlatSat and flight harnesses while reporting on cost and schedule performance.
- Capture of as-built, made on assembly mockup harness builds to produce 2D/3D formboards.
- Support with the creation, maintenance, or update of harness design, assembly, and test standards and command media.
- Support in proposals and business development efforts as the responsible engineering authority (REA).
- Management of external suppliers and subcontractors for harness and printed circuit board delivery.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Role Summary
The Telecommunications Designer / RCDD is responsible for estimating, designing, and managing the installation of large low-voltage systems for commercial projects. This includes structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, and video surveillance. The role requires hands-on experience in low-voltage system design, accurate material and labor estimation, project coordination, and ensuring compliance with industry and building standards. The position blends technical expertise with project management, communication, and vendor coordination.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform site surveys to understand project sites and customer solutions.
- Develop accurate bill of materials and obtain pricing to provide cabling solutions.
- Acquire project documents, perform take-offs, review specifications, and estimate materials and labor accurately.
- Price materials with vendors, secure pricing from sub-contractors when applicable, and prepare a complete estimate and scope of work using company software.
- Prepare and type detailed cost proposals with scope of work.
- Manage awarded projects and coordinate with project foremen throughout installation.
- Prepare and submit post-installation as-builts and submittals.
Qualifications
- Must have 5+ years’ experience estimating large low-voltage systems including structured cabling, fiber optics, access control, and video surveillance.
- Must have RCDD or equivalent accreditation or experience.
- Solid knowledge of building codes, electrical codes, communication standards, and installation best practices.
- Ability to read blueprints, notes, and specifications.

What You’ll Do- Lead multi‑phase data center construction projects end‑to‑end
- Drive scheduling, budgeting, risks, and change control
- Manage daily onsite coordination with GCs, trades, cabling + security vendors
- Oversee rack/stack, structured cabling, power/cooling readiness, and equipment logistics
- Support Level 1–5 commissioning and ensure QA/QC across all trades
- Ensure safety, compliance, security systems deployment, and documentation
- Provide clear status updates, dashboards, and executive communication
- 5+ years data center construction or large‑scale infrastructure delivery
- Strong experience across MEP, cabling, security systems, and commissioning
- Proven success taking projects from pre‑con through operations handoff
- Excellent onsite leadership, vendor management, and communication skills
