Job Summary
Perform basic task in the maintenance/upkeep, troubleshooting and minor repair of parking equipment, facilities, structures and lots. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: other maintenance staff and contractors. This position typically will advise and counsel: NA. This position will supervise: NA.
Responsibilities
Job Duty 1 -
Perform basic installation, repair and replacement of parking gate components.
Job Duty 2 -
Perform general maintenance and upkeep of parking lots and garages to include installation and painting of signs and meter poles, layout and stripping of stalls, leaf blowing and trash removal and garage lighting replacement.
Job Duty 3 -
Perform minor repairs to asphalt surfaces.
Job Duty 4 -
Perform preventive maintenance checks and services on assigned vehicles and maintenance equipment.
Job Duty 5 -
Load, unload, move and/or install equipment, fixtures and other items.
Job Duty 6 -
Perform other duties as assigned

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Compensation: Towne Park is committed to offering competitive, fair, and commensurate compensation. Actual compensation will be based on a candidate’s job-related skills, experience, education or training, and location. The annual base pay range for this position is $70,304.00.
Additional Compensation: Employees may be eligible to receive annual incentive bonuses depending on their job classification and the policy guidelines.
Benefits: Employees are eligible to enroll in medical, dental, and vision insurance, accident insurance, critical illness insurance, hospital indemnity insurance, and telemedicine benefits. Employees are provided company-paid basic life and AD&D insurance as well as short-term and long-term disability. Employees are also able to enroll in the company’s 401k retirement savings plan.
Paid Time Off: Employees accrue 0.0385 hours of PTO per hour worked up to a maximum of 80 hours per calendar year. Employees receive 6 paid holidays throughout the calendar year and employees accrue up to a maximum of 4 paid floating holidays per calendar year.

Position Purpose:
This driver role is responsible for driving a straight truck or van intrastate and/or interstate on local routes to deliver and unload various food and food related products to customers. This role generally handles deliveries of urgent orders due to mispicks and other customer service related issues. All routes are expected to be completed safely in accordance with all Company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. The driver communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring all services and duties are executed in accordance with preferred work methods and customer service practices.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform all required safety checks (i.e. pre/post trip) including inspections of truck/van and trailer according to Department of
Transportation (DOT) regulations; inspect truck/van and trailer to insure they meet company safety standards and take appropriate
action as needed. Report all safety issues and/or repairs required. - Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies. Immediately report any and all safety hazards.
- Inspect truck/van for properly loaded and secured freight. Perform count check of items and check customer invoices of products
that have been loaded. Check and complete in an accurate and in legible fashion all required paper work associated with freight. - Drive to and deliver customer orders according to assigned delivery schedule.
- Unload products from truck/van, transport items into designated customer storage areas. Perform damage control checks on items,
scanning and contact supervisor about removing orders according to company policy. Verify delivery of items with customer and obtain proper signatures. Collect money (cash or checks) where required. Load customer returns on to trailer and secure trailer doors. - Ensure that truck, van and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured at all times.
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns and bring to the driver check-in and complete necessary paperwork. Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required. Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state and company requirements.
- Perform general housekeeping duties in tractor, loading dock area and keep trailers clear and clean as required. At the end of the shift secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork.

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience6+ months box truck driving experience
Valid non-commercial driver's license
Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
Must be 21 years of age
Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
Pass DOT pre-employment drug test and physical
Pass road test
Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from approximately 60 to 90 pounds, depending on the location.

- 26' Box Truck owner operator teams to run furniture route Tuesday-Saturday for a well known Discount Furniture Retailer
- In home assembly (white glove) is included with most stops. Assembly ranges from putting legs on couches to building beds and shelving units
- 1-3 years experience with furniture delivery/assembly or related work preferred

- DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
- Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers
- MVR are performed for all driving contractors

About this Role
Drive box truck to/from customers to deliver/pick up parts. This role represents our company well to our customers. Performs in-plant operations utilizing forklift such as loading and unloading trucks, moving raw and finished product to and from production areas, and places items in designated areas in the warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintain daily inspection log for company truck.
- Make sure necessary repairs and preventative maintenance are promptly scheduled.
- Provide feedback on route efficiency, and any customer issues or complaints.
- Ensure that POD is secured and returned to plant on all delivered products.
- Represent the organization in a courteous, professional, and presentable manner at all times. This position has a high degree of customer contact.
- Assist in shipping and receiving department when not on the truck.
- May Pick up unfinished work at our customers and/or deliver finished work to our customers.
