Summary:

Key Responsibilities
- Perform 16–17 diagnostic imaging exams per day, including approximately 10 CT scans daily.

As a Medix clinician, you will be working at a state-of-the-art facility in Hudson, Wisconsin. This position primarily focuses on evening imaging coverage, supporting a steady volume of basic CT examinations and X-ray procedures. You will be an integral part of a collaborative healthcare team, ensuring patient safety and diagnostic excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-Ray imaging procedures following established protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients while ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.
- Administer oral and IV contrast agents and monitor patients for any adverse reactions.
- Perform IV starts and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images.

Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY:

PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

6. *Performs venipuncture.
7. *Competently operates all diagnostic XR equipment including but not limited to portable and stationary x-ray machines, fluoroscopy equipment including C-Arms, O-Arm, and CT equipment to support imaging systems and performs and evaluates images for technical quality.
8. *Utilizes department computer systems, picture archiving and communication system (PACS), etc., to review patient history and provide accurate documentation of studies.
9. *Properly cares for and performs imaging for patients of all ages while maintaining patient confidentiality.
10. *Coordinates exams within the department and with other departments to provide expedient and complete care; communicates with medical staff, coworkers, patients, families, and other hospital staff to ensure quality patient care.
11. *Handles telephone calls for scheduling, coordination, or questions with courtesy and accuracy.
12. *Participates in the departments quality improvement plan as required.
13. *Cleans, disinfects, and maintains equipment as necessary; notifies coordinator of equipment problems and calls appropriate service vendors as needed.

* Administers contrast media under the direction of a physician. Recognizes signs of contrast reaction and responds with appropriate action.
* Patients served include all age groups (Infant through Older Adults as identified in Performance Standards).
Minimum Qualifications:
* Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
* Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred
* Excellent customer service skills is required
* Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required
Licensure:
* Florida CRT Radiology license is required.
* ARRT is required
* ARRT (CT) is required
* BLS certification is required
